During the cutscene right before the Dracula fight starts, your character will always say the exact same lines as Richter did in the prologue boss fight in Symphony of the Night
holy crap, what a throwback! i remember this game very fondly in my highschool years despite raging so hard over it. im glad to see it hasn't lost its touch over time.
I think it’s interesting how the first boss of this rage series is literally mike Tyson, one of the hardest bosses in the nes library Gives you a good idea of what you will be going through in terms of the bosses
i like how this game is creative with its boss concepts and ideas, quite random and weird but makes the game unique, it seems like the creator actually had fun and enjoyed making the game even tho is just an random rage game design to be frustrating other than the game’s difficulty, once you get used to it it becomes fun
The ending to the final battle was unironically epic. Also, I thought the huge gun you picked up from The Guy was just an L. I was wrong but still thought it was funny.
@@yurilopes420 I thought it was meant to be a meta joke, you know, "hold this L". I am aware of the odd slang of today, hence why I thought it was a meta joke. Kinda like how Mario's Super Mushrooms just make him bigger, but if a meme game was made on that now, the mushrooms would make him high instead.
@@Ethonra it would be a game that would do that. it's a fucking giga meta game, 4th wall breaking, self referencing, and an absolute parody of itself. there are baits, and jokes, and straight up making fun of Zelda, there's a section a wizard is there like "it's dangerous to go alone take this" and you grab the sword and just die. it 100% would be a game that would do that type of joke, but it was just way too old for the "old this L" to be a thing. if you don't know about this game, you should like watch someone play it fully, it's insane, and so much fun. one of the best games in my childhood for sure, and was known to be the ACTUAL hardest game at the time, at least like, freebies, you know? you had the browser "worlds hardest game" but that was just a puzzle platformer, I wanna be the guy requires actual skill
@@yurilopes420 I know. The fact you fight the likes of Zangief and Mike Tyson as Kaijus gives it away pretty earlier, let alone the infinite trolling. I already acknowledged I was wrong in my original comment, but the idea of it being an L was funny to me, I knew all that already. I have seen other people play it. My very first was Markiplier years ago and another one was more recent. I cannot recall the name, but it was a speedrunner. Naturally, someone speedrunning this game peaked my interest, I watched it, and I was impressed.
Hello! Didn’t expect to see a showcase of the bosses from this game from someone who has a pretty big sub count, but im not complaining! And speaking of showcasing iwbtg, do you think you might showcase any iwbtg fangames, and if you do i can try to give you some recommendations on some good ones to showcase if youd like, also Tetris isnt really a boss in this game, its more of a platforming segment, but yeah thanks for showcasing iwbtg, i hope you liked it!
that’s father former the guy’s gun (not to be confused with former grandfather the guy, except yes confuse him because all 3 are alternate timeloop versions of current the guy the kid. (and don’t confuse any of them for stinkoman 20X6 from homestar runner, which the game has ZERO AFFILIATION with)
It has a lot of small quality of life features that improve the experience while still keeping the spirit of the game. The biggest of these differences are the physics being updated to reflect most modern I Wanna fangames, and the fact that it’s made in a stable engine that doesn’t crash all the time. There’s other small things too of course, namely options like rebinds that the original game doesn’t have.
-game doesnt crash -jump physics are more in line with what is the standart of iwbtg fangames nowerdays -collecting all secrets unlocks a small DEV room type section -some minor additional graphical effects -full screen support -music doesn't loop when you die (thank god) -you unlock a few broken extra characters to mess around with after you beat the game
Yes I dont wanna say I was dissapointed but I played the original alot and expected more of an overhaul. This is basically just a stable version of the og. Which is not a bad thing but yeah I expected something else
