Mate, this is THE best cover of this song I have ever seen. I'm a really hard guy to please when it comes to Queen covers because there are so many poor efforts out there. You say it was a bit loose in places, WOW. You must be joking. Would love to see and hear it fully polished. Do you play in a Queen cover band. If you don't, you should. Awesome

I´ve seen many struggle with this solo. but this is the best cover of this track on youtube. Very relaxed, Superb fluid playing, Right feeling. Brian should be proud!

This is seriously the only guitar cover I’ve seen that not only plays it correctly but also gets the feeling that Brian had at the time (divorce, Freddie’s diagnosis) that end solo is brutal on the emotions

..you're right! The neck+middle out of phase, sure gets you that Bohemian/Dragon Attack screaming sound :D tbh I don't feel good playing other styles on it and prefer my Strats for everything else.. but playing Queen songs only feels right on the Red Special :) Try one out if you can. It's a great guitar, but if it was my only guitar, I'd play nothing but Queen songs all the time :(

I don't know much about the newer models, but I guess it's similar to mine - the neck is quite big, but still comfortable. Although its got a great range of pickup combinations and tonal variation, I've only ever used it for playing Queen music.. it's underrated as a guitar. Has a nice feel, solid construction and sound :) Sounds great through with a treble booster and vox amp!
