Glad you guys decided to watch this, I think this movie is pretty underrated and does really well as a pure romance/tragedy with a unique storytelling style. I can tell you guys could sense the impending doom since the very beginning of the movie, rightfully so. The writing is pretty tight all the way through and the dialogue of the main couple is actually very thoughtful and realistic. The cherry blossoms and animation were lovely, and I enjoyed the simple character designs (without the blue/pink/red haired characters). If I recall, pancreatic cancer is one that's almost impossible to live through. I think Molly did great job holding herself together, and Vinnie was being as savage as Sakura was. Very fun!! Anime movies are fun! I feel like you guys have watched a lot of anime, so I'm hesitant to recommend movies you may have already seen, so I'm just gonna start listing them lol A Silent Voice (MUST WATCH Josee, the Tiger and the Fish (MUST WATCH) Liz and the Blue Bird Ride Your Wave

The room scene always gets me. That's a good example of double standard. When a girl does stupid things it can be a joke but when a guy does the same, it is inappropriate. I kinda feel the guy, if you can't put out the fire you started, you shouldn't have lit the fire at the first place.

Its so interesting you guys try to be funny about it and be like "meh they are being so deep its dumb" but its a natural reaction cause you were so scared knowing that you would feel hella sad by the end anyways xD
