She is very good. Shows incredible promise and her standard is wonderful . For a high school production, she puts many professionals to shame. I'm incredibly impressed
can i just say, for a high school production - SHE WAS INCREDIBLE! maybe the singing was pitchy at times but i dont blame her because her dancing was fantastic and her energy was supurb! for a high school production i say well done! my high school did it in 2007 and we ended up doing it as a play with one song because no one could pull off the singing and dancing.
I'm not sure what singing you are talking about, but I am a musical theatre director, and chorus teacher, and she was excellent. We are thinking about doing this show next year, and I hope to find someone who is half as good as she is at singing, acting, belting, and REMAINING on key...
I really like this . I wish she sung more of the lines though. Shes a good actress , with her using a German accent helped me as I have this song for an assessment. Well done! xxxx
yeah no prob. I haven't seen any pro versions performed, so of course I'm not comparing to anything. But I definitely think her character is well developed and her overall movement is well planned and executed. It was just what I imagined it to be :)
Not bad - but I do think some of her dancing affected her singing. Like her movements were too big and too much for her to do while singing. And the end wasn't as belty as I thought it would be. But still pretty good.
great set! She's pretty good. Tuning is an issue though. Please don't shout at me! Just saying from experience. It is a show which most high schools are too scared to attempt. I'm going into the come back show this March and I'm nervous about the difficulty of it. But good job I guess. :)
That wasnt even bad! It was very dramatic and I thought the way she sung it matched the feel of the song really well! This song isn't supposed to be pretty, she's supposed to be a very strong woman and I thought she did really well!
@leojrevlis well I think her singing was pretty good, but she overdid the dancing in my opinion, especially close to the end. The ending pose was nice. Over all it was a good performance, but I think she could have moved around the stage a little more and acted out the words she was singing
@leojrevlis i think you take some comments to personally. Those who have experience give critical comments that others can learn from and you just snap at them.
the singing is fine. she just needs to learn how to support. then she can hit those top notes instead of shouting them because that did sound terrible. what really drove me crazy was the accent and the choreography. its overdone and looks kinda dumb. and the spot operator who cant hold the light still to save their life.
