can confirm chat is nutty, 5% unrestricted cashback is insane. They do exist, but not without yearly fees or ridiculous savings requirements, for the most part. 1% isn't much more than decent, and you could probably do better, but chat is insane saying that 5% isn't good.

Problem with this game is AoE and DPS are king. Not just king, but broken. Shield dudes take 600 damage minimum from front (400x0.5 for shield, 200 to them). Or, just icicle for 200 and take out 6 at once. That's an AoE with like 20% less base attack power, but what...18x the AoE effect? :D

As someone who has a 22 month old and a 1 month old... yes, two kids aren't just double the work, that shit seems to get tougher exponentially, at least the logistics of it. Lots of the insecurities and fears from the first one just aren't there anymore, though, so there's that.

You were doing great, and then you hit the final boss and just stopped paying attention to what orbs were where. You needed the bombs, and you needed to not use a ball that was too big for the board. The chip was good, your focus and strategy wasn’t. Smaller orb collections (especially when you take no damage on refresh) are key to getting the scaling orbs out first. Bombs, then lightning, and chip or no chip, you win there.

The problem with this game right now is that it's basically RNG. There's some skill, not on display here, because that first run was basically there. But the problem is, even moreso than other rougelikes, you simply cannot use superior peggle skill to win without having good items and orbs. Sometimes stuff just don't show up by the time you need big aoes or single target damage.

I feel really bad for NL for that ending but at the same time it was hilarious to witness. Hopefully that gets reworked.
