I was adamantly opposed to hiring a cleaning service!! 

Just hired someone to do an initial deep cleaning, and could not be more excited! I can literally feel the stress release!

Thank you for this!!! I am a house cleaner. One issue I have on the receiving end is my fees are cheaper than cleaning companies. Yet they feel I charge too much. For my own house as a gauge my fees are way cheaper. Hope you will address issue of fees and making sure house cleaner do not get short changed. I contacted several cleaning companies to get a feel of what they would charge. Good for you for hiring a house cleaner!! :)

i felt so guilty at first hiring a cleaning service but i’m so happy with their service. i struggle with depression and it’s difficult just to do basic cleaning. now, i have so much more pride in my home. they come every 4 weeks. because they take care of the deep cleaning, i’ve been able to focus on decluttering every single drawer and cabinet. i pay $180/hour for a 600 square foot condominium. i know that’s a lot but i’m near nyc and they are really good! it gives me such peace of mind.

Thank you for this video. I love my housekeepers and they truly help my sanity! I always feel like it is such a splurge and maybe I should cancel, but words just can't express my happiness when I come home to a sparkly clean house.

all true what you said. yes, it gives me more accountability to clean before they come because i want them to focus on the deep cleaning. and i so respect housecleaners as well and i think it’s rude to have them come to a mess. and yes, i thought it was extravagant too, but it has given me such peace of mind.

I totally think you're on the right track. I'm all for a cleaning service once in a while! I actually put it on my Amazon wishlist. =) As Moms, we could spend our lives cleaning our house!!!

I don't know that I thought it was extravagant, but I thought it made me appear lazy. But I agree that the benefits far outweigh my fears of being judged. My husband also suggested it, and I declined because I thought he thought I was not doing a good enough job. You have inspired me to consider it again. Maybe I will try it and see how it goes.
