Thanks Giles, some interesting thoughts on kit. Some will, no doubt, map over to paramotoring. Keep up the good work. TT.

Hi Tim, most of the kit came from my paramotor Icarus X race ego the tent I bits. I thought it translated across to the PeaBee quite well.

Very nice 😁 Small bags, lots of them are key to the flexibility of the packing! Mind you, since I have a rear seat, that's ideal for one big bag to take lots of small bags, instead of a passenger 🤣

Interesting point about the wheel holes with the Adam. Given that (far as I know) the Nine also has retractable wheels, does it have the same problem?
@GolfFoxtrot22
@GolfFoxtrot22 6 месяцев назад
Hi Adam, the NiNE doesn't have retractable wheels. The early videos show it being flown on the Adam trike but the NiNE trike is completely different. You should be able to see it in some of my later videos. I hope that helps.

Nice video but I prefer fly camping in a paramotor as you have much better landing options in remote places.
@GolfFoxtrot22
@GolfFoxtrot22 Год назад
Hi Jon, I did enjoy my Icarus X experience but the biggest issue is getting land owners permission to take off, that is the only legal hurdle, unfortunately you can't just land anywhere in England (unless you fly in Scotland 😁).
@stone8597
@stone8597 Год назад
Thanks so much. I'd like to do this too. However, I have a different light trike that doesn't have the built in storage. I'm considering locating a bag and attaching it securely to the frame. I must say attaching a bag to the frame does worry me a bit...it'd create some drag and I sure wouldn't like it coming loose...that would not be a good thing. Did your plane fly much differently with the added weight? Thanks again...well thought out.
@GolfFoxtrot22
@GolfFoxtrot22 Год назад
Hi Stone, I hope you are keeping well? When I flew to the Fly-in with a very full tank and all the kit, I really didn't notice the extra weight other than a slightly higher fuel burn.
@g8011673
@g8011673 Год назад
Giles, having followed your journey from the very early days I am a little surprised that you seem to have deviated somewhat in the relationship that the sub 70 enjoys with qualified BHPA HG pilots flying under the umbrella of BHPA insurance thus avoiding the need to complete a BMA course to hold the relevant CAA flex wing microlight licence. It would be interesting to know the numbers of sub 70 owners who fly under the auspices of the BHPA or the BMA. You also point out in your low and slow series the need to have back up support, primarily I assume for fuel replenishment, if you can incorporate this support aspect to touring then the need to carry survival equipment is surely somewhat redundant. All that said the Adam/Peebee is still an amazing piece of machinery that opens so many opportunities for aviators in general.

Hi Giles you mentioned you adapted a chin dam to your helmet face shield and I didn't follow up at the time and can't find it now that I think it would be valuable as I am noticing my mic is picking up wind noise. would appreciate if you see this to share the info again please. thanks! cheers.

Calculei que eram cerca de 5kgs de kit e posso levar no máximo 13kgs para o peso máximo de decolagem da aeronave. O tempo do pôr do sol ao nascer do sol depende da época do ano.

What is the max gross take-off weight of the trike? With all the camping equipment, do you have to do anything with weight and balance for a proper cg? What is the cost of just your trike with wing? And are there any in the US flying? Dealerships? Thanks in advance! Bob
@GolfFoxtrot22
@GolfFoxtrot22 Год назад
Hi Bob, the MTOW is 194kgs. The CofG on a flexwing trike isn't really an issue as it will always pendular to the right position. If you would like to know more information on the trike drop the office an email Office@microaviation.co.uk and they will be able to help. There aren't any US dealerships but there are a few flying in the US, one is electric and one is the ADAM trike with retracts. I hope that helps.
