Barry told in an interview that they try to put themselve in the shoes of an artist if they write songs for them and if they sing duets with the artist, for whom they wrote the duets, they always have the calmer and less parts and let the other artist more shine! Try guilty and What kind of fool (two songs in one video) from Barry with barbra Streisand and Face to face(Barry with Olivia Newton John, there you`ll see/hear the same "concept"1

Another great song written by the Bee Gees. Their rabbit hole covers 5 decades and so many songs that they wrote and others sang. You might like Islands In The Stream with Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton duet. Bee Gees wrote it and you can hear their influence.

This is one of the most beautiful collaborations ever! She lost her husband, (they were REALLY so in love), and of course, the BeeGees lost Andy so early, and now there’s only Barry as Maurice and Robin have both now passed. 😢They wrote it and gave it to her. You should watch the video where they were recording. Having so much fun. 😊

They did record a version of this song that was just them singing it. However, the Bee Gees did write this song Immortality for Celine. It was written for a broadway play and sung by a guy in the play, but when they were writing it, they were envisioning Celine singing it.

I've been hearing Céline Dion since the 80s. Her carreer pretty much started the year I was born (she was 14, I think). She sang in French for almost 10 years before her first English songs came out. If you ever want to see what she sounds like in French, I recommend ''Pour que tu m'aimes encore''.

Celine is one of the best. It was great to see her collaborating with an Australian group. She is a huge fan of John Farnham, another Australian. Check out her duet with John singing "Your the voice" at one of her concerts. She is clearly besotted with him.

Thanks Polo great reaction. The official video was rather hauntingly beautiful as in it Celine was singing to someone who had died. The Bee Gee's wrote so many #1 hits for many big names like Barbara Streisand (Guilty), Diana Ross (Chain Reaction) which earned her a Gold Record. Dion Warwick (Heartbreaker) and so many more. With her diagnosis, it is a horrible thing we will very unlikely ever hear her again. No cure. It just breaks my heart For someone with the voice of an angel, this is why I am agnostic. There cannot be a God to allow such a lady to have to now go through the constant pain , she did nothing to deserve it, but there you go.

They aslo wrote songs for Barbra Streisand. In 1980 they wrote and produced her album Guilty. On this album are 2 duets with Barry, Guilty and What Kind Of Fool. Woman In Love was also on this album and that song went number 1 nearly everywhere in the world. Try to react to either of the 3 songs, they are just classics. In 2005 they made an anniversary album called Guilty Pleasure and here are also 2 duets between Barry and Barbra called Come Tomorrow and Above the Law.
