this is 1 add-on I once asked on the forums to be basekit and clown mains shat on me for it, it's 1 add-on i'm never taking off.

There’s one really cool thing that I figured out while using parade gloves that doesn’t seem do be possible without it. Pretty much what it is is that if you’re on rpd you go up to the top of the stairs in the middle/main lobby and you look almost wherever you want on the ceiling in the main lobby and you can throw a bottle and it will actually hit the ceiling and cover a good 1/3rd or 1/2 of the entire main lobby area and I’m guessing this is further increased with the addon that increases the size of the gas area.

I honestly cannot play Clown without this add-on anymore. The reduced angle alone makes hitting bottles a lot easier for me. The extra speed on top of that is just fantastic.

As a Clown main, I can confirm this makes it possible to play Clown on Hawkins and other maps with low ceilings

5:18 an easy way to predict whether you make a hook or not is to keep count of how many times a survivor moans. Generally, a survivor will moan (or grunt) 9 times on your shoulder before wiggling free.

There's two types of Clown players. Those who avoid the gloves at all costs. or Those who use the gloves and confetti so they can make silly noises.

These parade gloves have been such a guilty pleasure for me and I was so hurt when I saw you rate them in f tier originally; really glad to see you change your mind

When I started properly maining Clown about 2 or 3 years ago I started playing with this add on quite a bit and was under the impression that it isn't as bad as most people would think, though I never said anything because we know how the DbD community can be. Was also wondering when you will revisit this add on and play with it more so you can build a better understanding on it. Glad you did it!

I’ve never taken parade gloves off for two years for the exact reasons you listed, the extra projectile speed (and reduced charge time) goes STUPID

I USE THAT ADD ON, I HAVE ALWAYS USED IT. I use it to snipe survivors from ages away to slow them down and catch up to them so fast. It is so underrated.

10:30 when playing clown I also occasionally hit those bottles that turn me into happy borat

also can help on indoor areas or maps like Lerys or Hawkins or anywhere really where you have to account for a ceiling or vertical obstacles I honestly think it would be more sensical for the straight throw to be base kit and the lob to be an add on. Just seems much cleaner power-wise.

I can watch you play all day crazy how i dont get board while you explain every detail love your vids.

As a Clown main, I’ve been waiting in an explanation about the level of use this add on has for a long time.

I love the gloves, less for the speed and more for the throw angle. It makes hitting bottles much easier and gives the survivors less time to react. I was definitely a staple in all my builds while I was learning clown and it just make an interesting change to playing him. It was also really fun to go for orbitals almost cross map just for the purpose of scaring survivors.

I've been using this add-on since I first got the clown. It's great for indoors maps due to that lower arc. It really improves aiming the bottles.

Nope I wasn't sleeping at all. Honestly I can't even use clown properly now I've been using the alternate angle so long haha

This has been my default add-on for years when I don't feel like running any other add-on, and I agree with the subtle value you can get from it. Especially on indoor maps.

I use the gloves with instadown bottle on RPD and Hawkin, great for momentum, strong with Surge. Especially good for archives and dailies when i run out of ether and bleach

Wow I was completely unaware of this. Haven’t used this add on since the first version of it. I got 900 of these now I’ll have to try it out. I’ve used clown so much without it, I can see that the 15 degree decrease in angle is gunna be a downside for me to throw up and over loops like I usually do to strategize. I see this being extremely useful on painful indoor maps such as Lery’s, Hawkin’s Lab, RPD, and The Game. Any other map, I’d rather use another add on instead.

Imagine what that girl was thinking on the hook at the end, watching Otz throw weird yellow bottles in different directions and acting all strange going through them. :D

honestly, after the 6 bottle and invigoration activation buffs, i am really enjoying clown. hes just so much more managable with a few extra bottles, makes his pressure and chase way better than before, imo.

I'm giving a tip and also react to all "adding a thousand pages on the guide", but Arinad reveals that Harshton is actually pretty good with the sooner activation, so both together could really be good in indoor map : footing fast bottle without charging around corners to get the effet immediatly. That's all!

Ngl I always used the Parade Gloves, not because I thought they were especially good, but because my smooth brain struggles with Clown's default throwing arc. Glad to know it's better than I thought.

5:45 the window tech requires the killer to move a Little out the window, so if you dont move after vaulting, its guaranted they wont be able to perform it

Funnily enough I already used the parade gloves pretty much every time I played Clown purely because I prefer throwing without an arc

I literally always use this add-on even before the rework, though it did only work for reloading faster back then, cause I just don't like the arch of Clown's bottles, I know there's skill to it but personally don't want to invest a ton of time in Clown when I can can standardize to function similar to the other range killers.

I just LOVE discordance. Higher MMR survs just don’t see it coming bc it’s not meta. But at that point, you know what gen for sure you need to defend, but it’s probably worth your time defending, and that there are at least two survivors if not more in that area

I was thinking of asking you to give the addon a try. The extra bottle speed is genuinely one of the better upsides to any of clowns addons, and the "trickshots" barely ever make a difference

adrenaline is the reason i run terminus and no way out, i love seeing a survivors reaction when they finish the last gen and they dont go back to full health and just die

This add on is like a drug, and I'm addicted. I can't play clown without it.

With adrenaline I can see them removing the health state, but have the speed activate after every generator is completed. Which could pair nicely with poised.
