I played this before it was popular. wishlist animal well! on steam store.steampowered.com/app/81... switch www.nintendo.com/us/store/pro... ps5 store.playstation.com/en-us/c...
He may even start to think his life is going places from this point forward, buy the cheapest bottle of champagne he can afford at safeway and then drink it while doing a puppet dance, wake up from a hangover the next day and see that he hasn't made it at all and mad he couldve bought food instead of that nine dollar bottle of safeway branded champagne
He was offered it from the sorcerer who set his show on fire. I guess the guy was hard up for cash and was selling ancient mystical secrets for rent money, idk. He's never really discussed again because the movies didn't focus on it much until they retconned it in some of the worst movies, or so I hear. Haven't gotten that far yet.
@@Lucifronz The sorcerer was being pursued by the Totems that were introduced in the fourth and fifth movies. He was killed shortly after by them and Toulon used his soul in Mephisto, I believe, but it was destroyed fairly early on in Retro Puppetmaster.
@segaherman_twitch Not when you're alone, in a dark forest. It's pitch black. You're flashlight has just run out. When you hear an ewok throw a bag of angry fireflies at you. They sting and burn your skin. Then you feel it stabbing your legs. Trying to bleed you out. You kill the bastard before hearing more and more horns. You do your best to run to the ship, hearing more and more screams from your fellow troopers. Seeing their helmets on pikes on your way there. Until you finally board the ship. The sole survivor. As you look out the window, all you see is a tsunami of ewoks staring at you with glowing eyes.
Imagine you are playing your ordinary everyday game of Puppet Master PvP and you randomly join a server with all three members of the TOP Puppet vs Puppet clan. Once in a lifetime experience!
I wasn't the type of kid to get scared easily by movies or have nightmares, but I saw some ads for those puppet master movies, not even the full things and boom, nightmares for weeks
Fun Fact: Before he was in Tommy Wiseau's The Room, Greg Sestero's first role in a movie was playing Andre Toulon in the Puppet Master movies because he could do a really good French accent.
Speaking of Andre Toulon and the Puppet Master films, the man who played Toulon in the 3rd, 4th and 5th films also played another entirely separate puppet-maker by the name of Gabriel in the film Dolls (1987).
You got me to look up Puppet Master, and I'm in slight disbelief that it's real. 15 movies and a free to play game that was in development hell for 10 years.
Yep, was going to state that too, but had a feeling someone else would had beaten me to it. If you haven't you should read "The Disaster Artist" it's a great book (very different to the movie).
That search didn’t turn up the comic series that makes it all make sense, or the crossover series where they’re hunted down by a 1 foot tall cop named Doll Man?
@@ProtoMan0451 This is truly the first "Knack" type game that really makes you FEEL like drinking water at Jerry Garcias house. You are also nitpicking and biased, I win, bye bye.
Out of all the franchises that I expected to get a game, I did not expect it to be Puppet Master. The movie that no one else knew about growing up and thought I was crazy when I told them about a little cowboy doll coming to kill me.
This is my best friends favourite game of all time. I am unbelievably shocked that you found it and played it. Evan always, ALWAYS tries to get us to play Puppet Master. We never donit
I would have tried it once. What's wrong with your friend group that you can't indulge in some dumb times on silly game for a friend? Dunkey and his friends had a pretty good time it looked like.
Damn, just went down memory lane of being introduced to Puppet Master thanks to seeing Blade in the 'Boogeymen: The Killer Compilation' more then a decade ago. Nostalgia (for simpler times).
Oh shit, you too? That's how I knew about Puppet Master, but I never actually saw the movies until literally like the past month. There are so many killers in there from movies I want to see just so I can have context for the nightmares I had as a child because of that DVD.
Jankiness aside, this game has a lot to love for fans of the series. It even has the Demonic Toys in it which was a movie the Puppets crossovered with.
YO WAT?! There's a Puppet Master video game?! Holy shit, you can play as the Demonic Toys too?!?!?! Game of the Year every year, I'll never need to buy another game. 😎 Can't fuckin' wait for the Dollman and Bad Channels DLC.
You being honest with yourself about the truth was my first lesson in therapy so you’re truly ahead of your time as well. Dunkey wrote this script and produced the guys life story who made this game, a visionary.
This has brought up a deep memory from my childhood I never thought I’d think about again. I haven’t played this game but I watched a couple of the puppet master movies and all I remember I just some of the strangest scenes
I loved the Puppet Master movies when I was a kid, even have a couple 12'' action figures in the original boxes of them, still. I haven't heard anything about this..
As a 80s horror fan: Love seeing Demonic Toys and Puppet Master as a video game not like Friday the 13th style. As a dunkey fan: Love having him show us how it's not like Friday the 13th style.
Never in all my days would I expect Dunkey to play the puppet master video game! I pray this video bring new players to the game I need people to play with.
Look Master of Puppets came out in 1986 and was a revolutionary game for its time and it changed the metal-puppet-strand type videogame genre forever. You gotta respect the legacy it created
