Many people have criticized and laughed at her, saying her looks are totally off, she cannot sing and she should probably re-think her life choices.
But Mercy Atieno says you should not judge her before hearing her story. She claims she fought hard to go to America but was accused falsely of arson, served five years in prison and later got deported naked.
Her song, " I don't give a damn" has gone viral and she says all the people who laughed at her are in for a big shock.
