that's really terraria for you. On a casual normal mode playthrough good rng can seem immense. And since you probably don't have things to grind for it's not a big deal if you do get bad rng at times. Meanwhile on master mode when you're basically forced to grind a lot of the game, it can get pretty tedious with rarer drops.

For me personally, the worst thing I did was trying to start playing Terraria with two experts at Terraria. They just speedran everything to show me the "cool" stuff. Just that this "cool" stuff didn't hold any meaning to me, as I hadn't properly experienced playing before getting the "cool" stuff. Ended up getting overwhelmed, feeling like nothing I did myself really mattered and got way too deep while barely even understanding the basics.

I definitely feel the best way to experience Terraria is either by yourself or with a friend who only knows a little more about the game than you do. Just a shame that I feel like Terraria is another one of those games where you need the wiki open the entire time.

@@animeking1357 the Wiki is kinda unnecessary, besides a couple of things like summoning WoF, Duke Fishron, and Shimmer information. Maybe if you watched stuff and wanted rare items like the Rod of Discord too, but that's about it.

damn, that's the worst that can happen to a new player. it's horrible when experienced players don't care about new players I'm one of the "experts" and when I introduce the game to someone else, I give them the "fuck around and find out" mentality because that's how I learned the game "what is this purple biome?" go on and see what happens "what the hell is this purple orb and can I break them?" do it and see what happens "hey is there fall damage?" I built you a diving platform so you can find out

Terraria is such an amazing game and has near infinite longevity with mods. I’m glad it’s still around and being played all these years later. The terraria music brings back a lot of comfy feelings of nostalgia. I’d definitely recommend the base game for newcomers but if you finish the game and want more mods can basically rewrite the progression of the game with entirely new content for a whole new experience. The base game is easily worth playing on its own though.

@@Zisnas someone who has completed the game twice in normal and expert mode. It's all about exploring, collecting gear that you like and defeating bosses. It gets significantly harder after beating The wall of flesh and entering hardmode, that's when the game opens up to significantly stronger gear. The game also has building which have a lot of variety and potential. You can search terraria builds in google and RU-vid to see how impressive it can be.

Note to editor : Please be careful not to over edit videos. In the first 2 minutes, i don't think there a single 5 sec window without a screen jump or an added doodad. I feel like that's a bit overwhelming and take away from the core of the video which is connor and mouse playing. I don't know if others feel the same but i quite struggle to finish the video. Its been so great seeing you 2 enjoy it so much💚 A lot of people think at the start its just 2D Minecraft, kinda sad but not totally unexpected as they are both sandboxes where you mine and craft lmaoo But Terraria has so much more content and is just better designed, and updated even till now with the same indie team not some giant corpo like Microsoft😭 I have around 350h in it and just lately started playing modded (Calamity)

I watched your steam. So many probably has said it, but there button in your inventory. Under where is your money. It automatically empty your inventory to chests that are close by. The emptying works depending on whether the item in question is already in the chest.

Terraria is easily in the conversation as one of the best games ever made. Cheap, runs on anything, nice pixel style, deep combat, built in mod loader, deep building, exciting exploration, multiplayer, tons of new content from developers, and endlessly replay able

I have nearly 300 hours in Terraria on Steam and years back I had a cracked copy so lord knows how many hours I had on that copy. It's a very addicting game and I sometimes have to physically tear myself away from it. Yo I love the drill hair on this model for Mouse. Seems like she has a new model every time I see her. You love to see it.
