I was given the keys to a midnight purple Skyline GTR! 

I love owning an R33 GTR Vspec. I've had mine since 2013 and soon after importing it I opted for an RB30/26 combo, over the stock RB26. People who still call it a boat have no clue. Nissan made so many upgrades from the 32 to the 33. The wider wheel base makes for a better stabilized car and it is only 190lb heavier than the 32; and the R34 is heavier than both..but no one talks about that. People have a bad habit of just repeat what they've heard, many of which have no experience with all 3 of the cars (32,33,34). Each one has their own set of characteristics, strengths and weaknesses. But one thing that ties them all together is they are all Skylines. I would take a R33 over a R32 anyday.

All I needed to know about the R33 to love it was that it was SIGNIFICANTLY faster around Tsukuba. That, for those who aren't in the know, means it can REALLY handle.

The 33 was always my favorite GTR!

I really liked this video. Would tweak the microphone a bit so it wouldn't sound so "spacious" and small changes to the color grading to really nail that cinematic look and feel for the footage. Headed towards that Gears and Gasoline feel.

i think the R33 get the least love is because of the softer rounder design, where as the R32 and R34 have a more angular aggressive look.

Everyone always says to me "bet you wish you had a 34 instead of a 33 GT-R"? Not in a million years. Most people don't realise that when I bought mine, a 34 was only 40k aud and I picked the 33 because I liked it, not because "I couldn't afford a 34"

The R33 is an over better car then the R32 and R34. Just my opinion.

This was my parent's car in like 2002.

Only issue I have with this video, is the talking is way too scripted and robotic. That takes away all of the authenticity. I started noticing that sort of stuff, after finishing my voice acting studies. It ruins so much. Dubbed movies, a ton of RU-vidrs and pretty much all newsanchors.

The r33 was always on par with the r34 in terms of my favorite gtrs. Im saddened to know that the 400r which is the one i wanted the most is a 7 figure car now. Now i know its an emotional purchase but i dont know if i can stomach that when there are cars that i want aswell that are much much cheaper.
