I don't like the term red flag when it comes to relationships (Outside of things that are a definite no no like abuse). I feel they make us run away and scared to work through the normal things of making a relationship work. we end up labelling normal life struggles and challenges as red flags when they are just preferences and disagreements. Not to lie, I check up on my 6 year long relationship ex. Its been a year since we broke up, its quite tricky to let go of someone you thought you would marry.

I've never blocked any previous partners. I just trained myself to just ignore. I think it helped because even if I bump into any of them or I see their posts, I don't feel a thing ☺I don't get that "shock"... I just keep it moving.

Red flags show themselves quite early in the relationship. I've come to the realization that we see them but brush them off because we want the people in our lives so we choose to make things work nonetheless. Like you said, you fosta first and then later address them with the hope that the other person works on those things. Bear in mind that sometimes our loved ones are oblivious of some of their flaws and can do with a little help from those around them to make them aware and hopefully work on them.
