Deadpool has directly spoken or had thought bubbles to or about the writer or artist in main 616 continuity on many occasions including once saying how he likes having real feet as a reference to his creator and ex-Marvel artist Rob Liefeld not being able to draw feet. Three things to know about Deadpool, Ashleigh. 1) In the comic books, Deadpool repeatedly breaks the fourth wall. It's one of the character traits that set him apart from everyone else in the Marvel universe. He was super aware that he was in a comic book. 2) In the comic book, he does have the healing ability, but it's not that fast. Deadpool's story is actually very tragic and sad. His cancer actually kills him over and over again, but his healing ability brings him back to life. He's not nihilistic because he always heals, he's nihilistic because he always dies and comes back. 3) It was actually mentioned in the comic Cable and Deadpool #2, when asked what Deadpool looks like, he said a cross between Shar-Pei and Ryan Reynolds. Reynolds saw that and knew he had to be the one to play Deadpool on the big screen.

When Marvel Studios was making Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2, they wrote the script around Ego the Living Planet, but only after the script was finished did they find out that the distribution rights to Ego were sold off to 20th Century Fox years earlier. They had no idea what to do because the script wouldn't work with any other character and they had no backup plan, but just as they were discussing this, they got a call from Fox asking for permission to make changes to Negasonic Teenage Warhead. It’s because his healing factor is constantly healing his brain too, which causes his memories and emotions and feelings to constantly change. His mood one day could be entirely different the next day because his brain has healed and re-healed over the day and night, and in the morning he’s literally a different person. . Think of the Doctor from Doctor Who. When the Doctor regenerates, he maintains all of his memories and experiences…. But his entire being changes, which includes his emotions, his perception of reality, his thought process, and so on. It’s why when the doctor changes in the presence of his companions, he often treats them entirely different. Because he’s entirely different. Their relationship is dead now; even though it’s technically still the Doctor. That’s kind of how Deadpool works. The cancer in his brain takes over and destroys parts of his brain, then his healing factor destroys the cancer and fixes his brain, then the cancer comes back and destroys his brain, then his healing factor destroys the cancer and fixes his brain. Over and over and over again, all day, all night, every day, every night.

Hugh Jackman has agreed to reprise his role as Wolverine for the next Deadpool movie. The entire Deadpool franchise has been Ryan's dream for years and he's pushed it forwards largely based on his own work from finding funding to "anonymously" leaking previews when the studio almost scrapped the whole project. As such he pestered his friend Hugh until he agreed to do the film.

This movie has so many inside references that Ashleigh might not get, the biggest being that the same actor (Ryan Reynolds) played a very different Deadpool before AND played Green Lantern in a notorious mess of a superhero movie (the costume was an all-CGI emerald eyesore). Ryan played Deadpool in X-Men Origins: Wolverine, where he had his mouth closed up and all-different powers...but everyone thought he was perfect for Deadpool if only they'd done it right. ALL of this is referenced from the very beginning of this film.
@justsomebody-1665
@justsomebody-1665 10 месяцев назад
You know, Green Lantern was a bad movie. But it DID make sense for his suit to be cgi if it was being made with his ring. In an alternate universe I think the idea of everything created with his ring looking "cgi in real life" to everyone in the movie world could have worked. Too bad that movie was such a turd.

I mean...Iron-man's nanotech suit is all cgi. In fact, almost all of his suits after the first movie were almost all cgi. Btw: the fight scene at the end was on one of the crashed heli-carriers from the MCUs previous movies (I lost track which one it was). You can see the outlines if you watch closely. So just from the X-Men Colossus cross-over you can see they used Deadpool to check the waters for an eventual linkup of all the Marvel cartoons into one canonic universe. Previously the studios holding the licenses for the respective characters were all separated and unwilling to cooperate. In Deadpool the hints of cooperative action were clear, but still offered the studios an exit strategy (because Deadpool the character is known as clinically insane) as Deadpool could simply have imagined/hallucinated everything in his insanity.

This came out at Valentine's day, and they did market the love story. The theater was packed when i watched it, you could miss lines of dialogue because if how hard everyone was laughing. Having a basic knowledge of pop culture is definitely helpful to get the references that are thrown out in dialogue. There was also a new movie of Are You There God, It's Me, Margaret that came out this year that was really good. The bulk of the book is about a girl getting her first period, which is why it's referenced during the bloody scene. 127 hours is based on a true event where a guy got stuck in between some boulders and cut his arm off to escape.

That month I made enough in tips to pay the university a lot of money I owed, pay tuition for the next semester, and cemented my place as the go to guy for busy movies (making myself even more money in tips, allowing me to cut back on my hours during crunch time of senior project). 1. The thing that made this movie so special at the time is the fact that people had been dreaming of a R rated Deadpool movie like this for *years* , with Ryan Reynolds in particular fighting tooth and nail to play the character. Hell, you could argue that if he wasn't pusbing as hard as he was and if the test footage hadn't been leaked, we might not have gotten this or the sequel 2. The second one is just as good, and honestly, has one of the best epilogues of any movie, any genre, any time, full stop.

The guy Deadpool meets in the bar that offers him the solution to his problems played the lead alien in 'Galaxy Quest'... Also the "...are you there, God, it's me, Margaret..." line as he's cutting off his hand, releasing a lot of blood is a reference to the coming-of-age book written by Judy Blume. Not my...type...of joke, but funny.

Her reactions to everything in the highway scenes are almost the same as Natalie Gold's and I love it.
