And just like that, I was pregnant but had a miscarriage. I got a positive pregnancy test result but was bleeding, so the OB sent me to the ER where it was confirmed I was having a miscarriage. At first I was shocked to be pregnant because we had been using protection, and I was trying not to get emotionally attached, but I can't help it because I love being a mom and I am devastated that I won't ever get to hold this sweet angel baby. To any other person out there watching this video who has experienced a miscarriage, there are no words to describe the heartbreak of losing a baby. I just hope you know you're not alone and I am so very sorry for your loss. It's okay to cry your guts out in the car and vent your feelings- journaling all my feelings and naming my baby actually really helped me even though I am still very very sad and still grieving. This is a very raw and real mom vlog about pregnancy loss. This makes me feel less alone. I had an early miscarriage and my family didn’t seem to really care-not even my husband. I was so heartbroken but brushed it off because everyone said it was too early to really care. I was crying with you bri. You’re feelings are valid and that little soul will be with you forever. ❤️🥺

It’s never too early to care. I miscarried 6 times and it was so sad each time. People said hurtful things about how it wasn’t a real baby yet. You’re not alone. I gave all my lost babies names, even though I didn’t know the genders. That makes them feel more real. ❤️

So much love to you ❤️ We lost our daughter at 20 weeks after years of infertility when she was born too early and didn’t make it. We’ve also had 2 early losses. I’m now 13w pregnant from IVF and we are praying this will be our take-home baby, and we will tell her about her siblings she didn’t get to meet, but who are watching over us. On behalf of all of us that have suffered through this thank you for your bravery to show this part of pregnancy loss. I know it’s hard not to blame ourselves some how but it gets better. Your baby sent your family that rainbow as a sign she knows all the love y’all have and she is safely with your family in heaven. Also, when you said that from the moment you had the positive test you had a feeling about the outcome, I had the same feeling and I’ve heard this from many loss moms too. Going through a miscarriage with a baby you weren't planning for is so hard. You freak out at the positive, but feel a bit of excitement deep down. Bri- First of all, I’m so sorry for your loss. Secondly, as someone who has had 4 losses, I completely understand the need you have to want to rationalize why this has happened. But please know that NOTHING you said/didn’t say caused this. NOTHING you did/didn’t do caused this. You couldn’t have done anything differently to cause a different outcome because it was completely out of your control. Your baby mattered and is as real as your other children. Please take the time to allow yourself to grieve and ride the waves of emotions as they come. There is no right or wrong way to mourn the loss of such a precious soul. I’m praying that Jesus wraps His arms of comfort around your family during this time and that you remember the promise that God works ALL things out for our good. ❤️❤️❤️

Anela is a gorgeous name for a gorgeous, rambunctious, baby girl. She’s sweet and caring and she’s an empath like her mother. She knew your heart and that you were just going through a rough patch of self doubt. This hits so close to home today. My husband and I found out we were expecting baby #3 after 3 rounds of fertility treatments and we were so excited but we found out a week ago the pregnancy wasn’t viable. I can relate to you so well. We also live in Hawaii, moved here for my husbands job (not military most asked question) and have three kids. I’ve had 5 miscarriages, one a few months ago and went to that same hospital you are at and sat in my car crying and mad at my body! Screaming from the top of my lungs, ITS NOT FAIR! I had a missed miscarriage a year ago on the 18th. I carried the baby with me for a month before I started bleeding and knew anything was wrong. It was the hardest, most heartbreaking experience I’ve ever been through and I still mourn my lost baby today. I named him Elijah. Hugs to you, Brianna. Totally cried watching this because I can relate 😭 Your feelings are so valid & I am very sorry you are going through this. I had an early miscarriage from an accidental pregnancy and also hated myself for not loving or taking great care of my body while my baby was (unknowingly) inside of me. Sending lots of love and prayers! Know your not alone! I went through miscarriage and infertility then recently right after thanksgiving I suffered through an ectopic pregnancy that was a total surprise. Our family had also just relocated so the being alone made things extremely hard! Lean into those who love and care for you! Reach out for help when you need it! I suggest two books that really helped me through both experiences. Loved baby and it’s not suppose to be this way. Both are wonderful! Sending hugs!

I have yet to be able to get pregnant at all. It's definitely frustrating. All I blame is myself. I don't understand why I can't seem to get pregnant. So I definitely understand the infertility aspect. It's so hard for me to understand why moms get upset when they have a miscarriage especially when a woman has had however many successful pregnancies. What would have been even worse is if Bri was pregnant but had a stillbirth so in a way it happened early. If I was personally gonna miscarry I'd personally want to happen 4-8 weeks in; rather than having a stillbirth. Miscarriages still are awful things to experience I'm sure. I guess I'll never understand that aspect of it. Please don't delete my comment if I crossed a boundary. If I did cross a boundary I'll delete my comment. I hope this comment doesn't offend anyone.

So sorry for your loss Briana.. I’ve had 5 miscarriages (have 3 children). Even if you weren’t wanting or expecting a pregnancy, miscarriage is still hard in all aspects. Don’t get down on yourself and blame yourself. My heart goes out to you and your family. Prayers, love, and positive thoughts are being sent your way. Having a miscarriage is the most heartbreaking thing your body has to go through. I’ve had both of my pregnancies unfortunately end in miscarriages and you never fully get over them emotionally, just like you don’t ever stop grieving over any other lose that faces you in life. The things I learned during my losses are 1. Nothing you did caused this. I felt that way so much to the point it wrecked my mental health (and I work in the mental health field!) I didn’t even want to live. But you did nothing wrong! 2. You do what you need to do to take care of yourself. Take the time off you need. Spend time with the people you need to be around. Do the activities you feel comfortable and want to do. 3. You remember your angel baby how you want to. I love the name you chose for her! I personally bought a necklace that has two bird charms on it. It feels like they are flying with me everywhere I go, because I know that my two babies are. Again, I’m so sorry, even if it wasn’t planned, that’s still your baby. And that baby will always be with you in spirit!

I am sorry for your loss,and I have had MULTIPLY miscarriages,but aren't some things made to be kept private between you and your husband? The last thing I would EVER think about after a miscarriage is to film it! This is done in poor taste. IMO After you have recovered is the time to share.

Things will get better Bri I promise. I’ve had a miscarriage and a stillborn at 8 months and I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy. We will see them again soon!! Baby’s are a true gift from God!!

I’m so sorry!! My husband and I went through 2 miscarriages after losing out first and only son to a rare disorder at 17 days old so I know this can be so hard! Yes it’s good that you named your sweet angel!! We named our’s as well bc their little souls deserve a name❤️🙏🏼

Crying with you right now. I just experienced my first miscarriage in October after trying for a year. It's a feeling that no one can understand until it happens to them. It can be so lonely, but you are not alone! Praying for you!

It's hard. I've been in your shoes. We had a surprise baby. I knew I was pregnant for a few weeks, but my blood work was crazy. We ended up having a miscarriage on Christmas Day. Around Mother's Day, we found out we were pregnant with our rainbow baby...and her due date was Christmas Day. Hang in there. It's not your fault. It will be hard, but it will be okay. I think about our baby every single day, but I know she is with Jesus, and we will see her one day. We named our baby Morgan. It's completely normal to grieve in your own time and way.
