When Teresia left for Saudi, it was to make ends meet. Her first contract was successful…the elderly woman she was taking care of liked her so much such that, when the contract ended, she demanded for Teresia again.
Teresia went back the second time only for the woman to die after six months. She was ‘sold’ to another home but she didn’t agree to the terms of bathing dogs and snakes..kept in that home as pets.
She sought to return home. She was taken to a hall where she met other people who were seeking to go home…and here, she was raped. She later gave birth to a girl who is 5 years now but she is deaf and mute. She also doesn’t talk. Here is Teresia’s story.
