I have son. It didn't work between me and his mum. But not a single day will I ever fail to support him and be there for him as a father. Wanaume let's be there for our kids maze. Hata mkikosana na mama yake, atleast make sure the kid has a roof over his head, buy him clothes, and know what he eats. Also attend special events in his life. Once in a while mpeleke tour and show him how to be a man. The kind of damage caused when you are not there as a father is so huge.

It is painful to be rejected. Me my own mother lived calling me her small sister until I was 30 years. I grew up with my grandparents who loved me so much I used to call them mum and Dad, even my own birth certificate reads them. I have tried to forgive this woman gave birth to me but nimeshindwa. Instead I feel too much hatred towards. Rejection is truly painful I'm telling always thank your parents who accepted you.

I join you . The moment you say God you are my father , God really wear that shoe. I did say that when my step dad told me I should go to my really Dad . I did not know where to look for him at age of ten I went to knee and I prayed to God . Father I have no father in this world so be my father . I have seen the hand of God in life . i share the same story, my dad left us when i was 6 and my sister 2, we went to kiambu , my mum became depressed developed ulcers and was taken to Kenyatta when i had taken my sister to play since i did not want her to see my mum suffer in the house in pain, no food no rent no family members no nothing. my dad knew, neighbors went to his place of work to look for him but he would hide, he never wanted anything to do with us. he remarried educated kids that were not his, the woman killed the two children they had with with my mum and chased him out when he became broke. he came back home when he heard that i had been sponsored by japan to attend a global environmental symposium in 2007.we struggled in high school when i attended the best provincial school in nyeri. he never paid even a dime for my sister for her high school fees. when i was in campus he used to beat my mum mercilessly asking for money to drink. i felt a lot of pain for the suffering of my mother, eventually my mum had to leave him. the amazing thing, my aunts blame my mum for the suffering that my dad is going through. kwani my mum has no right to live a peaceful life without this man. please help before i harm them when they dare to speak ill of my mum. .

To be abandoned by a father is very painful but it sounds like a blessing in disguise cos God takes over immediately. Children who are abandoned by their fathers struggle alot but they end up making it in life. Blessings just flow. See Kamotho's 6 children with their mother? Their blessings are flowing. My cousins were abandoned by their father, they struggled yes but they are the richest children you can imagine.

I have raised 4 by myself but i realised that sometimes the kids are better off without the dad because they don’t see something they should not see or hear what they should not hear. I had to cry through out this interview, we had to go through the same with my siblings. Each of us tried to look for contact in different ways, with no success. Our mam worked day and night hard for us, she has bn our pillar and we all love her to the mood and am thankful God directed us all in the right path. Three of us abroad and God has been great. I have never meant my father at 27😢😢 at 10 a teacher asked out tribe and I responded, kikuyu because I speak kikuyu, but one boy shouted "how do you know, you don't have a father, maybe he is not kikuyu" that broke my heart, till today the pain it's so fresh. But I praised God for His blessings and good health.

You just reminded me of my father when he chased me out of his house in the midnight immediately after form four, I had no where to go no one to call since I had no phone so I had to take myself to a police station,and that's how my life started...😓😓 But I thank God because He has been there all through.

OMG 😭😭😭😭 my baby daddy rejected my kids before they were born ,he made me go through hell later I gave birth to TWIN boys raising them from day one was not easy but I thank God he hold my hand and walked with me... God gave me peace ,and strength to hustle for my kids . Thank you God for healing my heart, we are now 1yr 7 month ....and to my baby daddy you don't know what you lost... I got birth to my son when I was high school in form four, the guy wanted me to abort the pregnancy of which I did not,so we parted ways and he abandoned me since then till now the son is 14yrs and he never saw his Dad,may God have mercy on us single mothers so sad.

My dad left us when I was only 2 years, after many years of struggle with our late mom, I looked for the bugger and got him but he looked right in my face and without shame told me that he was not my dad because I was too light. I look exactly like him for crying out loud!!!! He died shortly after that and I never went for his funeral.

My dad also rejected me after death of my mother in 1993 when i was 2 years old but leo hii ananioneaga kwa view sasa wote wale alikuwa anapenda ni walanguzi wa madawa na akuna mwenye amesimamisha boma yake.Nakubuka siku moja baba akiniita na kuniabia asiwahi pata nimejiadikisha shule na jina lake.Watu wacheni niwaabie mungu akuna siku atawacha mtoto yatima nilisoma nikitumia jina la mama hadi nikamaliza masomo. leo hii baba mwenyewe ajiwezi na ameruka kichwa na akuna mtu yeyote wakumsaidia so naomba mawaidha wasikilizaji nimsamehe ama niendelee na maisha yangu coz nishaa nunua shamba yangu nasitaki chochote kutoka kwake.

Forgive him ,I was rejected by my dad because his mother said Mama yangu hajasoma,I lived in poverty with my grandmother as my mother tried to make ends meet being a barmaid in Nairobi,I had giggers and I could not even walk while my dad was just few kilometres away enjoy the millions ,I thank that Today Am blessed,Sometime back he tried calling me and he called me and one I realised it's him I save his number and anytime He called I couldn't pick,He called for over 2years untill I felt I should forgive him to able to move on,I carry him in my car and I thank God I was able to forgive him Please forgive him and help him where you can it will bring you more blessings
