I always want to believe that everyone has good intentions. I tend to forgive people way too fast. Unfortunately because I am so gullible I have been scammed. I’m embarrassed to say I may have been scammed twice by the same people 😞.

I appreciate everyone telling me to contact my CC company and PayPal but I did not pay that way. I’ve all ready called my bank and there is nothing I can do. This is why I said I didn’t need advice on what I should do. I’ve looked into my options all ready. Thank you for understanding ❤

*condup* These famous brand capitalists take note of people’s comparison mentality. It’s not uncommon for ladies to buy bags easily because they don’t have money to buy them. Only by setting the threshold and having to go through so much hard work to get the bags can people feel valuable. special value. The dopamine threshold of rich people can no longer be satisfied by normal consumption.

It’s one thing to knowingly buy a fake but it’s totally another to pay for an authentic piece and be sent an inauthentic bag - that is misrepresentation and theft. I’m sorry this happened to you, it’s not on you, but I understand how you feel.

Baby Girl! I just got scammed last week! I’ve been scammed more times than I can count. I would file a claim with my card or PayPal (however you bought it) on that Dauphine. It’s not your fault. Unscrupulous people are to blame! Hold your head up high, this happens to even the most savvy luxury lover! ❤❤❤❤❤

@@MelissaAdams-Wade the only place I buy Preloved is Fashionphile Saving a couple hundred dollars isn’t worth it especially when you have to go through something that you’ve went through and I really hope and pray for you that they will make it right. Of all the people in the world going through this I absolutely HATE that this happened to you!!! I am SO GLAD these luxury houses are adding chips to the bags to help with this kind of thing. That company should have immediately refunded your money and arranged for a return. If this was unknown to them as well because the fake game is so good now, then they have nothing to be ashamed of. Even big houses like FashionPhile & TheRealReal have been duped. But if they did this intentionally, shame on them. So sorry that this happened to you! I actually wanted to cry myself just watching the video. I’m glad you named and shamed the boutique because their behavior of blocking you is pretty strong evidence of their guilt. Getting scammed can happen to anyone, anywhere, so don’t feel so embarrassed. I was nearly scammed in a phone scam situation a few months ago before I figured out what they were trying to do. I consider myself to be relatively savvy and well-educated, but scammers are relentless in all contexts. 😢

I purchased a bag from a reputable eBay retailer with thousands of great reviews. eBay authenticated it, but it turned out fake; it took me two months to return it to eBay. I suggest that everyone who buys pre-owned bags re-authenticate them one more time before deciding to keep them.

I’m so embarrassed 😞. Everyone (including myself) preaches to get bags authenticated yourself before making a purchase and I didn’t do that. In the end it’s my fault that this happened. It’s a lesson learned for sure!

I don’t think I’ll be buying pre loved any longer. This experience has ruined that for me. I will probably buy from FASHIONPHILE because they have authenticity guarantee. Going forward if the bag is not worth full price for me I just won’t buy it.

I think at this point the best thing for me to do is to be appreciative of everything that I do have my family and my friends my kids, my loved ones, my home, etc. and not dwell or focus on money. The money was gone five years ago it doesn’t make any difference now.

I’m so sorry! I’m always so scared to get scammed so I only purchase from Fashionphile. I just saw another video recently about an inauthentic bag sold from the Real Real and they gave her a hard time and tried to force her to keep it or resell it! They only refunded her when she threatened to sue. Crazy!

I am so sorry it happened to you. I hate the fakes market in general but especially for that reason, that it is used to scam people. Nowadays I don’t even feel comfortable buying new bags from the big online retailers, as there is also a chance the bag isn’t authentic either. I hope there will be a way that you get your money back.

My worst fear in buying lux😱! As much as i would love a good deal, anything over 1k I have to buy it in boutique. I risked buying a vintage LV mini Speedy for $380 online( plan to have an LV repair experience for vintage. it's a 1992). That's all I could risk. The at- present prices I paid is worth my peace of mind. Sorry it happened to you, I wish there's a way to stop these scammers.

I'm so, so sorry that this happened to you--you are one of the best, most genuine and honest YTers out there. Not one to suggest to anyone how to feel, but I hate that you are embarrassed--it could have happened to anyone! You are the victim in this situation. You did your due diligence and purchased from someone awful who went the extra mile in scamming purchasers by providing an authentication service. I feel like ANY of us could fall for a good fake--I don't buy preloved but I often worry that my department store purchases (Nordstrom, Saks) are inauthentic. Oh my goodness, I’m so sorry that happened to you. I had a similar experience on facebook with a LV agenda cover that I bought on a purse group and said never again. From then on, I only purchased used handbags from The RealReal and really scrutinized them before pulling the trigger. We live and learn on this handbag journey is how I looked at my own personal experience.

Like everyone else, I'm sorry this happened. Thank you for making the video and for telling us who scammed you. When people protect the identity of scammers i no longer believe they were scammed and it's just a click bait video. Thank you for letting us know to steer clear of those people. I was scammed once and i was able to file a claim and get my money back and i was able to get them kicked out of every resell group i was in. It's a horrible feeling to be taken advantage of. I'm so sorry.

I owe them a debt of gratitude for all the information they imparted to me. If not for them, I'd never have known what to look out for. As horrible as this was/is for you, sharing what happened and what you could have done differently will be invaluable to others just starting out. Every time someone like you who has a platform will explain the painful details of what happened to them (what the seller did, what you wish you had known then, how you paid for the bag, avenues you explored to get money back, etc), you thwart a would-be scammer. Human nature makes us want to keep it quiet because we're embarrassed. If the ladies in the resell groups didn't share their stories with me, I would have been scammed again. They were embarrassed too. But they told their stories and educated us all.
