I WAS SCAMMED ON VINTED! BUT DID I GET MY MONEY BACK? PART 2

I had an item sent through Evri and got an email saying it had been delivered. I checked the tracking and it said it had been delivered safely to a neighbour. Problem is I didn’t know which neighbour , no note left or anything , luckily 3 days later someone brought it round . That would have been too late if it was a scam (luckily it wasn’t ) , but 48 hours seems a pretty tight window .

Bless your heart *BanninkSolutions* . Its so sad how the scammers prey on the elderly and the uninformed public. Bless you and all others who fight against these crimes.Its horrible how mainstream media is not doing the right thing by shining light on these things to help the publiccc!!!

I got hit with the scam only 2 days ago still waiting to go through the refund process how is this still happening now

My wife had a opposite experience. Someone bought 4 books from her. Yesterday she received a message that 2 books was missing. 100% everything has been posted. Now the question is whatever buyer is trying to scam her or the books were stolen during the way to the customer?

My nephew got scammed. He sold some trainers and never got paid by vinted.

I was tempted to sell on vinted but what if the buyer just lies and say they didn’t get the item or say there was a problem so they get their money back.

Always do store delivery. If they have no reviews, look into the listing. If they only have other expensive listings don't buy off them [Its most likely a ban]

Really happy you won James but should never of happened in the first place. People who do this are low lifes!

Another good tip is be sure you only buy from accounts with history and feedback and always remember ‘if it looks too good to be true…!’

I think I've picked up on a scam with lego daily bugle set 76178. Today on Vinted I suspiciously noticed the same images used to the one I purchased few days ago. Wasn't quick enough to take photos for evidence in time. Either someone else reported them or someone sadly bought the item. The item I got will be here in a few days but I noticed like you they have been blocked now by Vinted and I cannot see the item page and images. I'll look for invoices in the box if they ordered from another retailer but like you I'm expecting the stick lol. Definitely will be recording the delivery and opening for evidence. I’ve been scammed as a seller. I sold a pair of trainers. My buyer chose inpost as the courier. The item they received was a pair of jeans? The tracking information on the box is completely different. I’m constantly chasing vinted who are still looking into this with inpost. Any advice would be amazing. The buyer is awaiting a refund and I’m awaiting £150 for the lost/misplaced/stolen goods 🥺

Hi can I ask I’m new to buying from vinted I bought from 6 different people majority says waiting for seller to send an then under it a tracking number but there 2 of them that say same thing but no tracking number should I be worried or is this normal would really appreciate ur help only bought today so obviously only one person has sent a a an item already however the rest say waiting to send From there name but 4 have tracking number underneath that there our 2 that don’t is this normal thanks 😊

I got scammed by a seller on vintage and he told me the shoes were legit and when I send it to a authentication they told me it was fake

i tried to sell a book and i think i got scammed from vinted or is it normal that they wamt u to approve a "number" which is like 500 and when u approve it ur money will be sent and then u will have to approve again and theyll give u back but the 2nd time looks just like the first time anf it looks like u will loose another 500 im in a panic

Glad you got your money back! Please can I get your advice?... I'm completely new to Vinted and bought a couple of items from different sellers - I want to say it was 3 days ago... The items still haven't been sent out yet, and Vinted has now begun prompting me with notifications asking if I've received the items. I ignored the prompts and messaged the sellers instead. One replied and is very vague ("I've been busy but I'll try to send out tomorrow...") and the other hasn't responded at all. One is a 5 star account, the other is 4 star rated so I was optimistic but now I'm getting concerned. At what point do I need to try claim refund?... Is it 5 "working" days the seller's have to send out? Will Vinted automatically send an option for me to "refund" - I desperately want the items but also don't want to miss my window for refund due to their negligence. So sad cos I really want the products, I wish they'd just send them to me 😭 Your advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Lisa.
