I was homeless as a child and young teen and again as an adult. It was the worse thing, but I didn't have anyone to teach me how to live and get jobs. No church family, as I was too embarrassed to go to church without the clothes to fit in. It was later in life that I was able to go to college and get a career then lost it all again, but got a new family that took me in and taught me how to love God and trust in Him, how to love and be loved, just loved me like I'd never been loved or trusted. God is good!

What a beautiful testimony. God always had his eye on you. Provided ‘family’ to love and heal you, and provide life skills. We are the hands and feet of Jesus. I, too, have been homeless. I, too, have lost it all and God provided. God did provide someone to teach me life skills. God is good.

If it wasn't for the Lord Jesus, I wouldn't be here, I had to have a total hysterectomy at age 22, then I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis at age 30 and had to retire from from my job as a Medical Office worker and I had a heart attack when I was 51 and last year when I was 53 I had to have brain surgery for them to place a shunt in, so I've been really blessed and I thank him each and everyday 🙏❤

I love listening to Brailee’s chatter…the things she says amaze me sometimes…such a thoughtful caring child…loved she can make memories with her daddy planting in the garden….the baby Lama is beautiful…the children love getting their presents of the ‘larger’ family…❤it’s lovely to see how grateful the children are… As for the people who ‘don’t know why you share your lives’ they do not have to watch.., but they still do 😅😅😅😅

My dad taught me how to fish when I was about 5 years old. I love fishing. It allows me to find a nice secluded spot and connect with God. I a m a catch and release person.

Maybe when they pour your foundation and basement with the left over concrete that they pour out your could take those chunks and make a small retaining wall area along the creek and cut back the trees a bit and put a picnic table under the shade and tie up a few swings to the trees. It would be beautiful for a dinner spot in the summertime! ❤❤

The red powder on the corn is an anti-fungal agent/pesticide. To keep the seeds from getting a fungus and spreading it and the pesticide is to stop insects that could be on the seed from eating the seedlings.

It was fun to watch Braille helping out planting the corn and covering it up. Her comment in the end was priceless. Brandon, you're now obligated to donate some of that corn to the homeless and I'm sure Braille would be happy to go along. Don't pay any attention to those negative people. Stephanie you should hang a clothes line near the pool and they could hang the pool towels on it before getting in pool and after getting out. That way they stay out of dirt and can dry when not in use.

It’s been wonderful to watch your family and the farm grow, to see the learning and loving, you have come a long way and it shows. People will always find something wrong but you are doing so many things right I wouldn’t allow them to get to you. There is an older program which has diverged a bit called/ with the slogan of "plant an extra row". The concept is to plant an extra row, or a few plants, to harvest for the hungry. Some communities have food banks or pantries that readily accept home-grown produce, others do not. In our current inflationary times, just sharing with a neighbor works. Taking extra produce in to work for sharing is easy and often goes over well too.
