James Ackerman did not require hospitalization due to his COVID-19 diagnosis, but said the illness made him realize that the virus should be taken seriously.
Had Covid 3 weeks ago never been so sick in my life (I’m 59) Covid is no joke I was so fatigued I felt over 100 years old . Headache , nausea , fever , diarrhea, joint pain , cough , loss of sense of taste . After 3 weeks finally starting to get energy back . Take Covid seriously & build up your immune system.
@@masoudhashemi5792 I would go for a blood panel test. See if it's something else. Check liver and kidney functions as well as Hep A, B, and C. Sometimes I wonder if everything blamed on Covid may be something else?
I currently have covid and I can absolutely relate with this man. Sure being in my 20s and in good health, it's a plus as far as not having to rush to the hospital... but this virus is nothing to be taken lightly. I literally find it hard to wake up out of bed sometimes, tea, acetaminophen and a good shower with plenty of water and rest is what's been keeping the persistent everyday flu strike on my body at bay. But this virus should be taken seriously, I wouldn't wish this upon my worst enemy. It literally fucked up my lung capacity for a little bit. Until I got a humidifier and took cold showers.
@@christianjaynes5036 I definitely think this was made as a bio weapon from the CCP. The other side effect my family and I experienced was anxiety...even after this was over i felt exhausted and bouts of anxiety at work which really convinces me its a bioweapon. I mean how many times have you heard any doctors saying flu also comes with anxiety bouts. Thank God all this is gone though. 🙏
Hey how's your experience now ? Is it better ? What can your tell us about this fatigue ? how much weeks you couldnt get up from bed ? i am now on the 8th week! Thanks Hope all good for all peoples situations and for me too ..
I’ve had covid around 6 months ago and I still don’t feel 100% well. I’m not sick, but I always feel kind of exhausted and my quality of sleep has gotten worse. I’m 20 and I’m mad
@@ismail6157 From the start of covid. I could barely even sit up. But it does go away. Take lots of vitamins and water and make sure you eat. I could barely eat. I've heard eating helps
@@CampbellSuperKids yes thank u i will take vitamins like you said , what i feel right now like is a fatigue and my brain feels sleepy and slow , i hope i recover soon
@@sidhere8585 did you get better? I’m experiencing extreme fatigue after first having symptoms on the 29th of October accompanied by brain fog. If so what helped. Some days I feel like I’m dying of exhaustion. A few steps is all I have sometimes.
I tested positive this morning. Have dodged Covid until today 🙂 just some minor symptoms but feel SO SO tired…I’ve been on the couch most of the day dozing in and out of sleep
The 'Skin pain' explained by him is so familiar with my experience...even after 20 days from being detected covid-19 positive, I am still having occasional skin pain & fatigue even after a simple household task.... Have to take longer hours of rest , increased appetite.lost my sense of smell too
The skin pain was also one of the symptoms I had 😢 then I started feeling soooo cold but my skin felt sooo hot. It was the weirdest thing ever. Everything hurt, I had a splitting headache and my chest was burning. It literally happened over night. I thought I was dying. I lost my sense of smell and taste and my sinuses felt painful and raw. I was extremely fatigued. I just knew I had covid cause I had never been that sick before in my life. This was a week ago and I tested for covid and sure enough it was positive. Most of the symptoms have subsided but I haven't regained my smell and taste, my chest still worries me and I still have fatigue. Fortunately I'm still in isolation and will be working from home after so I don't have to move around alot. Covid is serious and I won't lie I didn't take it seriously before this. I just hope everyone would get it atleast once so they can take it seriously.
I have Covid. No hospitalization. But today I have been sleeping all day! It’s unusual because I cannot take naps. I have muscle twitches, headaches and dry cough. I lost my sense of taste and smell. I was also vaccinated. The doctor said that it could be worse.
That's how I feel the past two weeks or so, I don't have any symptoms besides an unbelievable amount of tiredness, I'll doze off withen a few minutes after laying down and sleep 12-16 hours, wake up, and obviously feel totally out of it from oversleeping. I'm not saying it's covid, but I'm curious. I've never felt this tired before to the point where I'm almost emotionally non existent some days. 😩
This is how my dad feels. He only has a pretty small cough and he just feel extremely tired. He’s worried. Even using the bathroom he gets really tired. 😔 I hope he gets better. As well as anyone else fighting this virus
@@ayzaakrocky5325 he’s doing well. We are still waiting a bit so he can get tested. And hopefully it comes out negative, but it did take him a month to get bettet
This is true. I'm COVID positive from last 10 days. I have lost taste and smell already. I have been experiencing extreme weakness from day 1. It's not a joke. Sometimes I feel my chest is heavy especially when I do household work. My dad has the similar symptoms and I'm worried about him. I have caugh and cold as well.
Hey I got a question. I have heard about people continuing to feel fatigue after recovering from covid-19. If it's true, how long did it last for you? I heard some cases of people being out of breath from light excercise even months after recovering. I tested positive and I'm feeling so tired, I really hope this isnt a long lasting effect. Thank you!
@@Phaminator525 It is true that tiredness would remain there for sometime. It's been already 2 months since I was positive. I am fully recovered as I got smell and taste back within 20 to 25 days. However sometimes I do feel weak after taking a bath or lifting something heavy. If I start running then my chest would become heavy. Doctor told me to have rest as much as I can so whatever the parts of my body is effected due to COVID would recover fast. Take care of yourself and be positive.
I had covid a couple weeks ago and im still coughing up phlegm and i sleep away my days off. Im too fatigued to do anything so i stay in bed hoping thats what my body needs and that eventually i will return to normal and have energy again to do something other than sleep and rest.
@@rudygonzales3589 those 3 days i slept really did help. Im still not back to my old self but sleeping has really helped the fatigue. I agree i need to get some sushine and maybe that im feeling better i will spend more time outside.
On July 10th of 2022, I woke up that morning feeling a little weird, I was at Wildwood, New Jersey at that time. I was with my dad, his fiancee, and my sister with her husband and 2 daughters, and during the beach, I was feeling woozy, even when eating. At first, I thought it was my sinuses, because they sometimes make me feel that way, but days past, and I have not been getting any better. And I went to get tested for COVID, and soon, it came back positive. I had a sore throat, and I also had a fever and a headache, along with feeling fatigued. But I didn't feel like on the brisk of death. Then about 5 days later, I started having body aches and then chills, though the chills mostly happened at night. My room was warm, but my body was just so cold. It felt like I was in a swimming pool, but no matter how long I stayed in the water, I couldn't get warm, and the water temperature was super icy.
It's no joke it sucks. Finally recovering from mild symptoms and it sucks big time super tired. I don't do good with throwing up so luckily I didn't get those symptoms with this.
I had severe covid 3 times. I now can not feel hunger. All day. In the last 4 months I felt hungry once. All other times was unbearable, sudden stabbing and a weird feeling of almost passing out and nausea. I now eat on certain hours by alarm clocks. Anyone else have this?
Yes, and unfortunately I lost way too much weight. I've never been a skinny girl but I got way too thin. I literally had to make myself eat. I'm three years in, I wish you the best
I have skin pain too and just tested positive yesterday. I managed to stay COVID free for all this time. So nauseous, yet hungry, extreme extreme fatigue, very anxious and scared, chest burning, stabbing headaches, throwing up, diahrea, abdominal pain, and more.
I have covid right now. My skin hurt so bad too i thought it was from the constant chills! My skin was tender like a bruise and sensitive to touch. I lost my smell and taste almost immediately and my hearing in my left ear on day 7 hoping this returns. Im on day 8.
@@rickg882 I have that sometimes Rick.. I slept 2 hours in the chair after I got in from work. Still sleeping and resting loads, it’s coming up 11 months now. Good luck 🍺
@@mcewanschampion did you had a swollen lymph node before the fatigue? I have no idea if mine is from covid or from something else.. its 3 weeks now so i'm far too late to get tested for covid :(
@@mentos93 no but had been in hospital years earlier for a major op on kidneys. I’ve finally started to feel better, it took around a year thou. Heart still races some days but overall a great improvement 😊
So fatigued beyond words! 3rd week in. So weak at the moment! I've had it twice now. First time round and now Omicron ! I work in a school!...say no more!
Tomorow will be 2 weeks for me. Initially my symptoms were sensitive burning skin, body aches, chills and fatigue. Then I lost my senses of taste and smell so I knew I had COVID. Taste started to return 3 days ago. There was also nausea and diarrhea. I have always been so health conscious, taking supplements and doing the right things. It’s disgusting how the medical community refused to seriously look at Ivermectin and HCQ as viable treatments. The severity and length of illness could have been reduced dramatically for many patients. The politicization of this illness has been criminal and added to everyone’s anguish.
Can anyone tell me what is the cure for this chronic fatigue? This is true my mom had covid and its been more than a month but she still feels chronic fatigue
I'd recommend her try to take a somewhat high IU dose of Vitamin D3, 3,000-5,000 IU daily (we all should be doing so). I'd recommend she go and get her vitamin D blood levels checked, along with her other mineral/vitamin levels. I'm not sure if her health insurance will cover it, but it's worth a shot just to verify. Best of luck to you and your mum. I hope she feels better soon.
@@naytewilson Thats what I was taking when I got it but along with that I took zinc. I am still taking them because i feel it keeps my immune system strong.
I have lost my smell and taste thanks to covid., I feel weak and extremely depressed. Aches and pains were bad , horrible head aches, lack of sleep , could take 1 to 12 months for a full recovery from what i have read.
Yep i got covid on August and it took me 30 days total to be 100% good but make sure to stand up and sit up for a little bit or some movement and yea i felt all those symptoms and had severe depression but make sure to stay positive eat even if u dont want to take plenty of fluids . It’ll suck but youll get through it , i was loosing hope at first but and it felt like it would’nt go away but it did . Stay positive!
I have covid,it's been 10 days. So far, just have a slight cough,no fever, fatigue. But I will be fine. Just taking ibuprofen for it. I am unvaccinated.
Hey guys, came into contact with covid when I visited my parents 3 times in the last two weeks, and they tested positive. Currently me, my wife, and roommate all feel sick, but I'm having really bad muscle pains. And a sore throat. Whatchu guys think?
I tested positive for covid August 18th, it’s now Sep 10 and I’m still fatigued. A lot has changed I’m very irritable I get headaches a lot , Im sensitive loud sounds like lawnmowers, I can’t even enjoy my favorite tv shows anymore, I can’t take hot showers anymore. Is anyone else experiencing these kinda things?
Hey sorry to hear that... I'm on day 7 getting better from all the initial symptoms like body ache, coughing, headaches .. etc.. But I'm getting tired and fatigue from just having meals ... Headaches come back and go right back to my bed ..
I am sorry that you went through this. I still feel some fatigue, but it's hard to tell whether it was from Covid or just my depression. It sounds like I am lucky to be okay though, because therefore a couple of instances where I went up a couple flights of stairs and was a little short of breath when I got to the top. And I told myself, "Well, you just carried a load up 22 steps as fast as you could; of course you were out of breath!" If I ever get Covid again, I will take the shortness of breath more seriously. Plus, I don't really have anyone in town to take care of my cat if I decided to go to the hospital.
@@ArtsyMegz_On_Etsy Guess on day 18 of being sick and just a flight of stairs still gives me some breath catching, so I should sleep in the living room for now I guess. Hope all is well with you now.
