RamblinAround I never understood the hate he gets. All interviews leading up to this fight that I’ve seen with him, he’s looked genuine to me, having a wrong prediction or not. We’re all allowed to make predictions and have opinions.
I agree. But I think he has mellowed with age. He used to have the capacity to be extremely irritating but my wife says the same thing about me (to this day 🤣).
RobTi he gets hate coz of the past bro. He was a pull out merchant or injury prone and he never really spoke good about Tyson because the were going to fight but haye pulled out twice through injury so there has been a little tension between them for years but Haye is retired now and I do like him as a analyst
Klitschko: 🏆 Attempting 19th title defence 🏟 Germany ❌ Dethroned by The Gypsy King Wilder: 🏆 Attempting 11th title defence 🏟 United States ❌ Dethroned by The Gypsy King Tyson Fury becomes the FIRST boxer to end TWO 10+ title defence reigns. Both in their back yards. Anytime. Any place. Anywhere.
@@hsnafk This can only be described as "refreshing" when you haven't heard him comment on dozens of fights over the years and get them wrong the amount that he does. I found him refreshing too at first years ago, but judging a pattern across time there's something about his fundamental view of boxing that's off because he always goes into detail and the details end up not only being wrong but being irrelevant.
Agreed, he makes his opinions based on his knowledge of being a former top heavyweight boxer, hes not a sports psychology analyst or a pundit hes a vet. Hes not the only guy who was in Wilders corner for this and he doesnt have to do interviews like this - fair play to him, top bloke.
Haye offered up his view based on what was already known and are people suddenly saying now that Wilder has no punching power? I'm not aware that Haye has ever sparred with Fury but he has with Wilder and said he felt his power, so what's wrong about saying that? He also said pre-fight number two that if Wilder caught Fury full on again like he did in the first fight then he was suggesting that would be dangerous, so again was he wrong about that?
@@Joshtherealdeal I would say they stopped it too late.... I don't think Deontay will ever be the same again, he's been exposed. But I will be happily proved wrong.
@@kurtottoludwigvon-fischbei4414 Better talker then he was a better fighter? Haye was considered number 1 for a long time, won multiple belts and knocked out alot of people. Back in the day people considered David Haye as the real deal, because he was the real deal! Then again I don’t expect a casual like you to know this! David Haye was the best ever when he was in his prime!
I can feel David's hype when he says "all the belts". You can tell Haye's love for boxing is as strong as it ever was, the man is as hyped as we all are
Vivek Rao different weight tho. In his class haye was great, but heavyweight was to much for him, props for trying when he did. Obviously fury would have took him out.
Felix Dale yeah I get that, but it’s just good to see, we can’t say that for sure though unless someone knows him on a personal level, he might have actually been a bit of a idiot and got humbled by his defeats.
Marine World the ego comes from the adrenaline of fighting and winning and being a known tough guy. Now he’s still an ex fighter but he’s much more mellow.
I never understood the hate towards him all boxer's have egos confidence is a massive part of boxing he was a fantastic cruiserweight cleared up and dared to be great by moving up weight if bellew Vs haye was in Hayes prime he wouldn't have lasted 4 rnds with him.
@@marineworld6335 what the fuck you on about here? He has no choice but to be humble here, because he got his prediction completely wrong. Nothing to do with defeats, he's just made himself look a fucking fool to millions of people. What else can he do?
Big john fury stomping round Heathrow airport as we speak waiting for haye so he can collect his money... apparently Hayes physically hiding in Chisoras suitcase
Me being in America i agree its alit better for the sport for the so called majority of men have become to emotional like the so called last 🏆. Fury and AJ are class acts and examples of real men. Much respect to the people of Britain
@@Gblonkers and i could feel in the pit of my stomach we are of the same rare breed. And that makes me sad that it truly is rare nowadays to be a mans man. God help us all im more scared of men being feminine more so even then this virus being spread to everyone. And i worry it mainly on the old and the young more then myself of being sick for i know God is with me but my compassion is to the old the women and children. But the fact men turning like women is something to fear more because it means less help to others when things turn for the worse
One of the best boxing interviews I have watched in a long time. I always liked David Haye, but I never realised he was this humble and genuine. Great man.
Really good interview - Much respect to David Haye for his honesty, admitting he was wrong, not making excuses for Wilder or Putting him down, but Giving Tyson Fury the credit he deserves.
@@kygodragon4782 hahahaab what about the first round when he gor robbed and every 1 know he should have won fam just sit down wilder does not fight like that he uses power, my guy what fury used was strategy and tech wilder has non of the 2
Mike Tyson would have mauled Deontay like he was nothing. How People used Mike and Deontay in the same sentence is sickening to anyone who knows boxing.
After watching that interview, I really respect him, his hit the nail on the head, just with his general views. There's nothing better than hearing the views from some one who's being 100% honest. And I think his right, apart from the Derek fighting Usik comment. If that's the right spelling. Always liked David anyway, wish him the best, glad he got out in time and is still as sharp as us all
David is getting alot of hate here, atleast he didnt backtrack and held his hands up and said i was wrong. Lets not forget this man is also a brittish legend.
@@yugaboy4881 if u hate racists, why not go live with brown people like yourself? Aw yea, u enjoy the societies created by the racists more than the ones created by brown people😂😂😂
The change of trainer was absolutely the right decision from Fury. Had the perfect trainer for the first fight, but a whole different level for the second one. Shame Emmanuel Steward isn't around to see it like he was Lennox.
It greatest interviews were when he was a fighter,he brought passion, emotion, energy, and intensity when he spoke as well as conveying eloquence, boxing knowledge and a true competitors spirit
@@ironmind674 when he was active i found him very arrogant , almost narcissistic like froch . The way he handled himself in the run up to fighting klitschko was embarrasing, especially to lose the way he did . He was the best example of someone getting to big for his boots .. two beatings from Bellew later and a humble pie diet are serving him well now though seems more modest and real 😊
Tyson coming back from 400 pounds and drug addiction is not hard, compared to Haye. Haye once lost a boxing fight but was brave enough to blame it on a bruised toe.
I was irritated with the BT interview , as it seemed David still held a grudge after their history . But fair play to him , he held his hands up and ate humble pie 👏🏻
Tyson's a legend... for me he's a modern Ali the skills the heart the passion and the talk I also think we have only seen 80 percent of wheat he can do he's never been in this shape before and focused
Yes I can see the Ali comparison because his movement is good and like a boxer at lower weights. The difference is Ali was the complete article from a very young age whereas Fury took a while to reach his peak but he's certainly there now.
@@GaryBox right !! I always been sayin he reminds me of ali. I just want him to retire now tbh he's won every title🤷🏽♂️If he takes the fight with aj and wins. He's surely top5? Top 3 maybe??? What you think
LeedsCity lol nice way yo kiss your own ass. like how naseem hamed admitted to losing to barrera fairly right? Not like he made any excuses right? Like how david haye blamed his toe right? It depends on the person, not nationality.
I want to see tyson V ronnie pickering next. Respect to haye though for being a real man admitting how wrong he was you dont see that often anywhere in any walk of life
That version of wilder? Are you saying there more than one version? Because I've only ever witnessed one version of deontay wilder and that's to tough it out and just swing big with right hand and hope it lands...its all he has and all he's ever been able to do the mans never had any real skill or technique in boxing so that comment confuses me. There's only one wilder and unfortunately he just isn't as good as people think he is
Really good interview from David here, he seems very happy and relaxed and genuine. He's clearly enjoying watching the heavyweight division thrive and you can tell he's just a big fan, he loves boxing. Very humble from him, good on you David 👌
To all the young men out there, please take a page from Davids book, a true gentleman. When you are wrong own and grow from it👏👏👏 A great example to us all, thankyou David.
skip it then... it takes about 4 seconds to skip. this is how the guy makes his money.... so he can keep giving us this content. never understood fucking plebs who waste more time writing out a comment complaining about how long the intro is, than it takes to skip or even just watch the into.
It's only a joke, I've always been a big fury fan but it's a good joke , I know some of the furys family and they appreciate a good joke, he Is Irish and we have a great sense of humour usually ✌
Fury is the man! Coming back from addiction n mental health and losing 9/10stone. And beat wilders ass all over the ring. Fury is back. And he's become stronger . Love it!
lennox lewis calls it right alot. but boxing is corrupt and political, and unpredictable, depends if you got gambling problem, you have to bet, can't win. compulsive.
Great interview there by David. Admitted he was wrong and is a far more humble, reasonable guy after retiring from the ring. Sounds like he is Fury’s number 1 fan now too.
Wholeheartedly agree. All of these knobheads trash-talking him online here, saying he’s jealous or this, that, and the other lack Hayes’ basic humility, honesty, and self-reflection.
Charlie Kelly How many title defenses does fury have? Zero 😂. Fury is the better fighter but wilder is a better champion. Oh and fuck the UK we dominate boxing 🥊
David, good talk and what I like most is your mind functions so well your blessed. Keep talking as an example to the youth it makes me smile to see such strong guys talk with respect, intelligence etc
Haye is always humble in the direct aftermath. I just hope he keeps this head permanently coz he seems to revert back to type after a few months when the heat dies down.
Haye said Wilder was the hardest puncher he sparred. Cool. But that's him. Fury is a totally different style. I dont think Haye really understands that its not always about him
yeah, you would have been crying that night, still praising Tyson but crying at the same time. Really nice video, you really ate your words but you did it with humility and as a gentleman. so nice to see that in this day and age. good on you man, good on you.
I didmt think much of David before this video. Obv I knew his boxing but I never enjoyed his interviews. But this one shows he's a humble ex champ and can even talk and laugh about his defeats. Good dude
