especially when Roy Jones Jr as a light heavyweight would wear 30-40lbs weighted vest to shadow box as a warm-up before fights.... Most lame excuse I ever heard from a champion, sad, and lost a ton of respect too.
@@XBlack-oc6xt he got bashed for coming up with excuses like that. Even in the podcast wit Joe Rogan he said hed train in a 40lb weighted vest and all.
@@shanemurphy7412 yeah he claimed to run in it, and felt fine... even if he wasn't lying that he felt tired legs before the fight, keep that quiet, and save face... just like Pacquiao and the shoulder after the Mayweather fight. It's embarrassing
Didn’t Wilder go on the Joe Rogan podcast last year and claim that he runs everyday with a 45lbs backpack and he’s fine after doing that run?? What a bloody joke!! Wilder just got F’D UP by a better boxer!!
I really dont like wilder and i think hes an absolute fraud that fought nobodies but just cause he trains with one doesnt mean after he trains he'd be able to have an actual fight after...
Jonnym610 I mean he spars with it on in training so don’t think it should be an excuse about his suit being too heavy and he has worn very heavy suits in the past
Josh Daily Wilder gave excuses immediately after the fight, right after he said no excuses! Wilder didn’t have a ruptured eardrum, just a cut on his ear. He got his ass beat because he can’t box. He has one punch and got exposed. Period!
I'm sorry you gypsy hero got exposed and was never champ. Punching without padding is a perverted crime. Punching in boxing with 2 compromised gloves while constantly hitting to the back of the head makes TF the biggest cheater in sports history. All that and he still couldn't stop DW. That must really hurt that Fury already go KOd when cheating in the first fight. This has all just proved DW is not only the best, its exactly why a million pervert haters are helping fury run. As a mandated reporter specialized in fraud detention this was the easiest case I've ever looked into. 44-0 42-KO
As the great Roy Jones Jr. said "It wasn't the 40lb outfit that wore him out...It was the 273lb Gypsy King he was wearing for 7 rounds that wore him out."
Roy Jones Jr. Also said that he has done many things before a fight and still went out performed. He said he snuck off and played basketball games before fights. He basically eluded to that if a costume did that to you then you wasn't ready for a fight.
Have you seen the back an forth he had with Prince Nazeem Hamed at a presser, years ago. He explained how he would try to copy the footwork and movement of Naz. For someone so big to try to emulate Naz is insane. Then him saying 'this aint the Prince show, its the king show' - what a legend. Hope you're good.
Geoff Bournes lmao I don’t like wilder but I find it so funny when losers like you try to diminish things you could never dream of doing. Just shut up and get back to unloading shit in the warehouse
considering he said himself he trains with a 45lb pack... he should have said he had an almost 300lb man leaning on him the whole fight. not an excuse for the loss since he should figure out how to stop it from happening, but atleast it is the truth. more respectable than making a dummy excuse like i had a 40lb costume...
Especially 40 pounds on a pro athlete / world champion at maybe the most grueling sport. Probably us average Joe's would get messed up by 40 pounds for 30 minutes, but come on
Yup and still more excuses to hide from the evidence by perving on a claim you didn't hear DW make. I'm sorry you gypsy hero got exposed and was never champ. Punching without padding is a perverted crime. Punching in boxing with 2 compromised gloves while constantly hitting to the back of the head makes TF the biggest cheater in sports history. Keep Your Foot On They Neck Foo what does race have to do with this ? 😂😂 your brain clearly not processing things right 🤷♂️ should prolly get that checked out
@@aaronwarner1257 LOL no one would do that after how he flipped out at Radio Raheem. Wilder is a joke, he knew he was living in a glass house and he knew the stone was Fury.
2tall2slow2000 it’s a bullshit excuse anyway. Wilder weighed in at 231 lbs, he should’ve been doing 10km runs carrying at least 20lbs extra weight. No way would a short ring walk carrying 40 lbs do him in. It’s basically like carrying a bag of cement to the ring, should be effortless for any athlete let alone a heavyweight boxer.
He doesn't really agree with it, he said that it's crazy. But in the world of media you can't mock someone like if u were a random guy on youtube, did u expect joe to say smth like " oh yea he is a fucking clown and his excuse is bullshit, he got fucked up by fury"? No, u can't say things like this, especially when wilder came on his podcast and they are somewhat friends. But he clearly gave the message he can't understand how wilder would have been affected by the suit
I see your point, but they don't usually fight wearing 40 pounds of gear. Still, that doesn't matter, Fury just outclassed him in every aspect of the fight, tired or not.
I love how Joe Rogan is constantly low-key flexing. "Oh Deontay Wilder can't walk around with 40lbs on him? I can hike a mountain with 45, no big deal."
Went from it’s ridiculous to its possible in 10 seconds 😂 he would of needed like 3/4 fittings to get that suit right so he’s chatting shit saying he tried it on just before the fight
I have never seen a guy at heavyweight feint like Tyson Fury, his jab flicks out there and then he throws a solid cross, man he has every move in the book down to a T. He had Wilder dancing for him in there, it's great to watch I can't lie.
Vomit after losing Excuses ready But on the surface .. the legs are kinda unsteady He used to drop bombs, but he keeps on forgetting When he looks down and the whole crowd groans so loud, he looks at his pins.. should've worked them out Hes choking now, everybody's laughing loud! Here comes fury..times up ..over POW!!!!!
Yeah he trains and then goes and rests and recovers he doesnt train and then run straight into the ring wearing 40+ pounds especially right before a big fight drains tf out of you.
Tyson took one of Deontay’s hardest punches and went down in the 12th round. But got up like nothing happened. So even if Deontay hit Tyson with his best shot in the early rounds I don’t think it would knock him out.
DW needs to connect with his left to measure because he throws himself into his right hand. That's really the only thing he's ever shown and he didn't have any growth as a fighter. Eventually someone who is a proficient boxer who isn't fighting with a reach disadvantage is gonna come along and expose that.
got that right..best ever..had his trainer lived...and tyson was right in the head..fighting scientifically like he did....i mean he had no weakness..lightweight hands and heavy weight power with great defense....i think he was the best of all time....watch the film....theres tyson and everyone else....he jumps off tape and the rest all look alike.
"Everybody’s gonna have an excuse. The thing about it is, nobody wants to hear an excuse once you lose. When you lose, you lose. Deal with it.But if it’s an excuse that actually occurred, keep it to yourself and amongst your team. Go back into the gym and work on that. Because people don’t wanna hear that when you lose" - Deontay Wilder 2015
Truth is just dont care what other people think deontay isn't smarter he just has a natural gift he got too cocky and thought he could just one puch everyone but hes like mike tyson hes still dangerous and can go in for the rematch and ko tyson
@@Thecgsystem he's like mike tyson? LOL mike tyson was so fundamentally sound it's insane in comparison to wilder, to even compare the two outside of discussing punching power is just ignorant. tyson was far and away a MUCH better boxer. MUCH. like worlds apart better. LOL at thinking mike was just a power puncher, shows you don't know the sport bud.
You forget wilder killed tyson in 12th round he could have stomped him and finished it first time its just boxing and tyson fury is deontays evander holyfield lets see a rematch deontays knockdown was way nastier and could have killed tyson on a different suface deontay looked like hes lost his equilibrium not ko'ed correctly
With Furys desplay, he could have carried Wilder and his 60,000 custume to the ring and still beat him. I'm not the biggest fan of fury and his antics but I have monumental respect for him an athlete, fighter and person after all that's his been through. Giant man, giant desire, giant heart, giant skill level in a monumental surroundings. Well done Tyosn, good sir. You're fighting for so many of us and tearing the boxing world to pieces. We appreciate you so so much.
!! Breaking News !! Deontay Wilder in hospital after trying on Canada Goose down coat. Deontay Wilder is reportedly "in fine spirit" and recovering well after suffering multiple injuries trying on a Canada Goose coat at the University Mall in his hometown of Tuscaloosa, Alabama. The former WBC heavyweight champion of the world was enjoying some retail therapy following his crushing defeat to Britain's Tyson Fury in round 7 of their rematch in Las Vegas back in February. According to a source, Wilder liked the look of a hefty Canada Goose winter coat and proceeded to try it on, but the substantial weight of the goose down padding made the American fighter's legs unsteady, causing his knees to buckle and leaving him in a crumpled heap on the shop floor with a fractured shoulder and ligament damage in both of his knees. But the 'Bronze Bomber' assured fans in a statement that he is in 'fine spirit' and will be back in training as soon as possible, claiming he will 'rise like a phoenix from the ashes' to take another crack at that beautiful Canada Goose coat.
THIS!!! I saw that with my OWN eyes!!! And I was a US Marine for 11 years! At the time, my scrawny 5'11", 160lbs ass would have to hike with 50-70 lbs of gear through up and down MOUNTAINS in California and Japan for like 10-20 miles and I STILL would be in the night club later on dancing with women! Wilder just needs to man up and admit he lost to the better man
The reason(s) why Wilder said he lost because of his Entrance suit : 1. This will infuriate Fury into a III fight. 2. Wilder's way of telling Fury his technique was Not the reason, so that Tyson will stick to the similar technique (and not a New one) to prove his point, if they meet again. 3. It will also indicate that he can take punches in the Ear area and not get wobbly (which actually stopped him from recovery after the 3rd round). I rest my case.
If Tyson cheated that fight the deontay cheated every fight saying he cheated is a fucking joke that black man got his ass beat by a bigger better boxer plain and simple
Stephen Mills it made him more fatigued than he would have been without it. It isn’t that crazy of an excuse, I also don’t think he said he would’ve won without it. It just didn’t help
Joe the next time Deontay is on his podcast. "Yeah, I bet that outfit really took it out of you before you got to the fight; thing looked CRAZY heavy."
@@carloschaves2437 UR weird..everything combined put together combined makes it heavy. When wielding comes to play, it's heavy-duty! I'm not knocking ur opinion LETS just look forward to TRILOGY both are warriors. We can't what they do.KEEP it boxing and realistic
Big John fury called it. he offered David haye 50gs for a bet said fury was too weak the last fight. said this fight fury would bully him then stop him !
@Chuck Thunder Those were not dirty shots. Dirty implies intent. Fury threw a left hook and Wilder turned his head and it caught him behind the ear. That's incidental and not intentional.
I hike mountains with a 60 lbs pack on quite often and it never kills my legs... I'm also 39, a smoker and am 6'2" 200+. A professional boxer should be in better shape than me. 🤷♂️
The best part about that stupid excuse is that Deontay literally said on Joe's show that he trains with a 45lb weight vest on. So it just shows how blatant of an excuse it is.
You Wish also a valid point. Look I’m from Alabama and was rooting for wilder, but that performance was one of the best I’ve ever seen. It was dirty imo, but effective
Whenever I look at Deontay Wilder and think of the power he has, I think of Larry Holmes, his complete anti-thesis. Wilder was the champion everyone wanted but Fury absolutely exposed him because of his flaws. Holmes was the champion no one wanted, he held the title for 9 years and dominated boxing's most glamorous division while most fans were watching him fight, hoping he would lose.
@Fianna he isn't by fury swamped him in every way, especially in his lead up to it including the first match.. As wilder said on the night 'the better man one' excuses from there on out
I was thinking it was definitely the ear as a key factor in the fight. But I would still call that a knock out. I mean damaging the other fighter to a point where they can't continue the fight, with legal blows is a knock out. I think a part 3 would still be great to see. I honestly don't think 41/1/1 is really something we can call a bad fighter. Or the kind of record where we can call him incapable of winning. A lot of people discount wilder because he has the (get out of jail free) punch. But practically every heavyweight boxer has a knockout punch, and most spend the fight trying to accomplish that feat. Wilder is just the best at finding the knockout ever. Not discounting Tyson fury. He is also an amazing boxer. I think both fighters are the stuff of legend and belong in the hall of Fame.
i wish he left the excuses at home. losing isnt a big deal until you make excuses for why you lost. now he is backed into a corner by himself and his fans that he HAS to win the next fight. and he has to do it in a way that leaves no doubts. cannot take it to the judges. because that is not convincing enough to support the excuses he has made after getting smoked like that. look at Aj. he said well i lost. ruiz was better than i was and i need to train my ass off for rematch. no excuses. and then he came back and won convincingly and no one can say anything about it. point is, never build the wall that your back will be against. if wilder didnt do that and loses again to fury, which is pretty likely, people would say he found the one guy that he cant figure out. a lot of greats have that one guy that no matter what they just cannot figure out how they tick. it doesnt make them less great, and accepting the L for what it is actually shows why they can be considered among the greats.
@@jhonfamo8412 How could he looked drained when he came heavier than ever? 230lbs thats the heavier he ever walked into the ring. I would like to see whats your point.
Wilder has now come out and said that he plans to duck the costume. He will replace it for the third fight with another one. I am disgust tbh. I hope Fury pays him some step aside money and fight the costume instead.
William Rose I think it’s possible that it could have affected him maybe minutely, but definitely not at all why he lost. He could have walked out naked and the same thing would have happened.
Do you know the worst of it? Fury could knock Wilder down 200 times in the 3rd fight, but it will still be less painful for Wilder than the verbal humiliation Fury is going to put on him in the pre fight press conferences lol!!! It's like giving a guy who was shooting at you with a pistol a bazooka lol.
