You better watch How Your Boys Play This Year BC My Leafs are Now a More Storge Team So GO LEAFS GO LEAFSGO ITS OUR TEAM !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was there. When it was 4-1 I didn't want to leave just because I wanted to see the the teams send off for the season. By the end of the game the garden was slamming. One of the greatest moments of my life
That was one the greatest moments of your life? You were down 3 to the Leafs.... a full out collapse wasn't a possibility, it was inevitable. That's how the Leafs roll. Special team!
Didn’t realize there were comments on here lol. Don’t care what you think, it was one of the best sport/event moments of my life. I think you might’ve cursed the leafs for another 50 years of mediocrity.
One of the best sporting events I've ever attended. Probably a tie with Red Sox-Yankees ALCS Game 5 in 2004. When Bergeron scored to tie it 4-4, the roof came off the building. My wife was 6 months pregnant with our first born, and she felt him kicking for the first time when Bergeron scored the tying goal, he must have heard the noise and felt the vibrations in the building. And the entire crowd sang every song during the OT intermission... "Livin' on a Prayer", "Don't Stop Believin'", the vibe was absolutely amazing. And our first born son just got a chance to skate with Patrice Bergeron in Framingham a few weeks ago. Magical experience for him and for us as parents who clearly remember this game in 2013.
I just spotted this and wanted to personally say thank you for this special upload. Imagine, almost 5 years have gone by and I still have my ticket in my wallet as a reminder of what it means to bleed black & gold. LOGE 19, ROW 5, SEAT 1 near the glass. What a truly amazing and electrifying display of a team coming together to come back in such dramatic fashion. So many great Bruins from that team really provided me with a game memory that I will always appreciate and never will forget that night.
The bar I was at went nuts... even people who weren't the biggest hockey fans were going crazy...second best bruins moment of my life only to the cup in 11
I was there. I live in Toronto (Which is hard as a Bs fan) and drove 9 hours down to see the game with my boss who was a Leafs fan. At 4-1 my phone had countless texts chirping, emails, FB messages and missed calls with taunting voicemails. I was leaning on the railing just begging for this not to happen. The worst 9 hour drive back the next day just stewing ahead... I couldn't accept it. I was on my feet from then on screaming myself hoarse and then it just.. started happening. When Bergy scored the OT goal I started screaming "HIGH FIVES!! MORE!! MORE!" and climbing the rows. I left the building still screaming it and people were running across the street to crush high-fives lol (we were all in the bag) the next day I thought my hand was broken.
Such an incredible playoff run that ultimately led to the Bruins hoisting the Cup. So many great highlights during the run. Horton's game 7 winner against the Habs ranks right up there for me and this amazing comeback. Champions NEVER give up.
Even though I was born/raised & am still a resident of beautiful Toronto-Ontario, Canada, I had absolutely no horse in this race. *GO SABRES!!!* Yet epic comebacks like this are why I love sports in the first place. It being an *absolute rush* that very few other things in life can give me, as well.
Sens fan here: Thank you, Boston :) TO eliminated us FOUR straight times. FOUR! And their fans infiltrate our arena. So thank you!!! This also reminds me of when Pageau scored 4 goals, including the OT winner in game 2 of round 2 vs NYR. I was there and jumped 2 feet in the air when he made it 4-3. I don’t think I’ve ever heard the CTC scream so much. Was in the hallway for the tying and gwgs but it was rocking. Goosebumps!
I remember I started watching it live after I got off work that night and it was 4-1. The entire time thinking to myself "wouldn't it be funny if the leafs blew this lead". And then it happened and I laughed so fucking hard.
I watched this game at a friend's house in Metro Detroit. Bruins scored in OT and we just sat there for hours, not a word was said. My buddy took me to a bar, in Macomb, MI. and as we were sitting at the bar, beautiful woman walked in. She took her jacket off, and there it was, a Bruins jersey. She just smiled, as she saw me sitting there, in my Leafs jersey. Brutal.
Watched this game at home and screamed with my wife and oldest son. Best comeback we have ever seen. The only thing better than this was being at the Garden for Game 6 vs. Canucks in 2011. Loge 14 seat 16C in ADA seating area. B's fan since 1968 now 66 yrs. old and still going strong!
Amazing how all the videos on this miss the signifigance of what was going on in boston at the time with the marathon bolming. The result was so needed
I was there, my little brother got me the ticket as a gift. Balcony, last row - that section was CRAZY. It was the loudest I've ever heard the building. The comeback, Shipping up to Boston in the break before OT, the celebration afterward - what a night.
I was sitting two rows from the ice right behind Rajon Rondo who LEFT after the second period. He missed that magical comeback which happened right in front of our section. When we went down 4 to 1, lots of folks in our section were naturally bummed out, but I had driven up from New Jersey and spent a pretty penny on that seat, so I was going to get my money’s worth, win or lose. I was vocal even when we were down, and the Bruins rewarded us with this stellar comeback. I’ve been to so many amazing sporting events, but that was the single greatest comeback I’ve ever seen live. Lucic had a monster game and did all of the little things that added up to big things. When Bergeron put that wrist shot in to tie the game, it was absolute mayhem. For the record, I’m pretty sure Nathan Horton got a piece of that on the way in, but regardless, it was just amazing. The after effects of that game are still with me… I’ll never forget cruising down the street and being interviewed by the news station and then hopping into a Boston bar and basking in the afterglow with three other Boston fans (and a couple of Leafs fans who were very gracious in defeat). I truly felt for them and understood their misery being a lifelong Red Sox fan. I had to teach the next day and set off for Jersey at about 2:30 AM and somehow made it back for my morning classes. Needless to say, I slept well the next night. Overall incredible experience.
I'm a Kings fan. But this is still one of the greatest comebacks in all of hockey in the playoffs no question. I secretly love the Bruins for Eastern Conference i can't lie they are an amazing team and i always loved the players. Hockey is the best
I wasn't there but, my family and I were all watching the game on the TV. 4-1 they started to get up and go back to their rooms but I just had this weird feeling and stayed glued to the TV. 4-3 I started screaming for everyone to come back, 4-4 and the house went crazy. Best game I've ever watched
I was there in the loge; although Rask gave up four goals - there was a Toronto break away in the middle of the third period that would of made it 5-1 ; however stopped breakaway and then bruins scored about a 2 minutes later to make it 4-2; i was sitting next to a man that was on vacation from San Jose - he had said that when the bruins scored the third goal - he predicted we bruins would win in OT
It will be on 7 game leafs are coming in strong tavares is not gonna come to leafs and score 1 empty net goal marner with 2 goals only leafs top dogs will not disappoint
I remember i was at Band Rehearsal and the lead singer (Leaf fan) in mid song. (Summer of 69) said, "Turn it off, it's over." It was 4-1. I stopped and looked at him and said "ill bet you $100 right now if Bruins score next. They'll win this game." He took the bet. And history was made. We still talk about it to this day, on how i called it.
I changed the channel when kadri scored to make it 4-1, couldnt stand to watch any more. Magically I decide to turn it back and its 4-4. Couldn't believe my eyes!
They should call this "I WAS THERE (except for the part where I actually turned my back on my team and walked out on them when they were getting killed)".
How do you beat being at this game? It was my 8 year old son’s first ever professional sporting event!! We walked across Causeway St and saw a large group of Toronto fans standing in front of the Bobby Orr statue. A camera crew was there and said to get in the group. Front and center was my son in his Bruins jersey and myself in a Team USA jersey surrounded by Toronto fans 😂 The man next to the camera pointed at a Toronto fan who said “ live from Boston it’s game seven on hockey night in Canada” we weren’t even in the game yet and we are already on every television set in Canada! I told my son after the game that I was sorry. It was going to be very hard to ever top that game. 🎉❤️
I love the Leafs I fucking love them will never ever cheer for another team but man no one is to blame for the Meltdown except Toronto hats off to Boston as much as it fucking pains me to say this you got to have respect for a team that comes back like that as much as I dislike them you got to give credit where credit is due and that's it
Got the frick'n chills again. It will be a sad day in the NHL when #37 the best playoff clutch man in hockey retires. They just have to erect a statue of him next to Bobby Orr,... or I will personally make my own and put it in that spot.
I was talking to people at a b's game well after and mentioned this game they were there and left and the look they gave me was like we dont want to go there lolLOL
i wass like 7 then, but i was outside because i was at practice and me and my hockey teammates were coming out of a practice just to see idk thousands of people in the streets screaming and jumping
Mandj Karlsson Damn dude have fun, I’ve done it a few times and it’s actually amazing. One thing I kinda regret is trying to play smart cause there’s people watching but just skate your ass off. It’s only three mins but get the best out of it
An early lead, especially when it's more than one goal usually ends up being a curse in hockey. The team with the lead gets comfortable and they stop playing as aggressive. Yeah their team is still playing 100% because they have to.
I was there, this was by far the most exciting/awesome game I've ever seen! I was one of those people crying like a lil bitch. Plus lost my voice for 3 days. Totally worth it!
There's only two teams in the NHL that I cheer for: Ottawa and any team that can beat Toronto, LOL. After tonight's loss to Tampa, who's ready for the Leafs' annual Round 1 Game 7 collapse on Saturday night?
