@@3VWMAN Damn you, ABC. The US national broadcast is supposed to butt out allow RSNs to cover their teams for the first round. I'm pretty sure the Vegas and Dallas RSNs get to call their teams' Game 7.
I am a Ully fan. BUT Sway looks real real good. Swayman plays from this point forward. Even if he gives up one shity game he comes back the next game he's solid right now
This postseason is giving 2011 vibes. 1st round: biggest (current) Canadian rival that goes to game 7 OT 2nd round: team that we lost to in heartbreaking fashion the year before Goalie: playing out of his damn mind and easily gets the conn smythe should they go all the way Let’s go bruins! 🐻
Not surprisingly, Dafoomie includes the most important save of the game, Swayman on Edmundson when it was 1-0. The other highlight packs I've seen have not included this. Dafoomie is the best
that save was a must , the bruins go down 2-0 it is over ..... swayman is the future , i hate to say it but ullmark will be traded this summer for a #1 center and maybe a prospect... we ain't got enough cap to give swayman the payday he deserves and keep ullmark as well... good thing we got bussi in providence as a backup to swayman , bussi is also a good tender
Thanks, Dafoomie. I was too scared to watch Game 7. If anyone was going to break the news to me I wanted it to come from your editing/video. My heart rate is way tooooooo elevated after your video. Go B’s!
Yeah. They showed the Maple Leaf fans crowd reaction after all the goals up until the Bruins last goal to win the series. That ought to tell you everything you need to know about ESPN, the biased asshats.
McDonough is a legend in his own mind. Can't stand him. He's a bitter man and hates the Bruins or anything Boston, even though Boston is his hometown. NESN canned him from calling Red Sox games and he's been anti-Boston ever since. He also over-exaggerates his game calling and is annoying in general.
It's also too bad that Game 7 was only shown on ABC. No post game show. I know NESN would've done a post game show, with their cameras aimed at the Leafs fans in Maple Leaf Square, stunned & disappointed once again at a 4th Game 7 loss to the Bs since 2013. I would've loved to see that reaction 😁
I wish it was Jack Edwards I heard when Pasta scored the OT game winner series clincher. Jack would've been like "THE LEAFS ARE MULCH AGAIN!!!!! PASTA SENDS TORONTO HOME EMPTY HANDED FOR THEIR FOURTH TIME IN A GAME 7 SINCE 2013!!!!!!! THE TD GARDEN IS IN A DELIRIUM RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!" Then Andy Brickley "Jim Montgomery called out David Pastrnak publicly after the Game 6 loss, more or less letting him know, 'Step your game up. You're better than this.' How does Pasta respond? Scoring the OT game winner series clincher, that was preceded by how much more Pastrnak was getting to the puck in the 2nd & 3rd periods." No offense to Sean McDonough, I think he did a good job, but I just wish it was Jack on the mic at that moment. I will miss him greatly
Unfortunately the Bruins don't do that.Swayman will end up on a second-rate team facing 50shots a night. That's why Ullmark wasn't traded. They already knew they weren't going to sign Swayman.
@@russellguercio3904 what the f you talking about ? they had a trade set up for ully at trade deadline , ully said no.... Ully will be gone in summer for a 1c... Swayzie will get paid and will be staying in Boston with Bussi as backup
Couple things to note: 1 Toronto played a lot better than many are giving them credit for, easily could've gone the other way if Sway wasn't standing on his head this series 2 Wow, the refs let almost everything go, really glad the boys adjusted to keep things even. THat's been a huge issue in the past. 3 This win doesn't relieve the issues I've had with Monty always messing with the lines
I agree, Monty Needs to stop treating our lineup like it’s a pet painting project of his that he’s always trying to fine-tune and tweak - it’s absolutely infuriating!
I have to say Toronto was a very good team and that was easily the classiest handshake line I’ve ever witnessed They will definitely be back and could have easily won this series
I'm a 66 year old Bruins fan. For much of my life when I was younger, Boston Bruin fans were tortured by the Montreal Canadiens. The Bruins could never defeat the Canadiens in the playoffs. It was agonizing to experience year after year. So even though I'm happy the Bruins won, I sympathize with Toronto Maple Leafs fans. I know how they feel.
I had my doubts about this team and I'll admit that I was critical of Pasta. Gotta give credit where it's due. They played a great game 7 and Pasta is the OT hero. Very fitting end.
"With the point of the dagger at their throats, they rip it out of Toronto's hands, AND KILL THE BEAST!! THE BOSTON BRUINS HAVE WON IT!! - 2013 "In the spring, the Leafs fall!!" - 2018 "AAAH AND THE LEAFS ARE MULCH! AGAIN!!" - 2019 - Jack Edwards calling the Big BAD Bruins since 2005
Damn so I guess neither the ABC nor Canadian feeds had a shot on the annual Maple Leaf Square heartbreak. Why even televise the series if you're not going to cut to that camera?
As a Boston fan, I would like to know why in the world Toronto pulled Woll when he was playing fantastic against Boston!?! It almost seems like Toronto management wanted to lose like they've got something else at stake....
@@victorjensen2858 Sammy played absolutely fantastic. I was just puzzled as to why sammy was in and not Woll. Yes, luckily Woll was hurt because if he was healthy this game would have been a different out come i believe. Top notch effort to both teams.
@@LogjammerDbaggagecling-qr5ds I'm not saying any of those goals where the fault of either goal tenders ( both Bruins goals where hard earned) I'm just saying that, given the track record, Woll played better against the B's just like Swayman played better against Toronto...I'm a Boston fan and was curious as to why they went with Sammy over Woll and I have found my answer which contribute to imjuries for Woll....Great series regardless of the outcome. Both teams played spectacular. I honestly thought Toronto was going to take the series. They are due for it.
@@cmhockey03111 I just keep seeing everyone blame samsonov like he gave up soft goals and it implies that the bruins didn't earn that win, which is just wrong. The bruins goals were amazing plays.
Not looking forward to the rest of the playoffs on national tv the game is unwatchable with the extended commercial breaks and the constant nonsense from people like McDonough, does he ever shut up and just call the action?
Literally after Game 6 I was saying for days "If they were playing any other team, this series is over...but its the Leafs." The Leafs are the one team with a history worse than the Bruins, I figured they would choke. Great win
@@jeffhalpin7269 irealy tho thst was him sound like himwho ever he is. That was great give him a job at nesn plz ! Although there will never be another Jack Edwards and that is saying something
Why is Rayzer chalking Lindholm’s pass off the boards up to a random dump-in that Pasta “reads perfectly?” Ferraro is smarter than that- it’s disappointing that the audio on this clip will live on like that for Lindholm- a guy who stumbled and bumbled his way through this series but managed to turn it on for the last period and OT heroics. Well, I guess he can turn the sound down when he watches it (maybe they can get Jack to do the call for the clip reel from the team).
Also, he’s retiring due to a medical issue that’s affecting his speech. He wanted to leave while he could still decently call games. Hopefully NESN finds someone with similar spunk to call games with Andy Brickley.
Let me just say I'm glad we won. I'll be honest. I thought we were gonna blow it again like we did last year. What's frustrating is the fact that our defense still needs A LOT of work. If it weren't for our terrific goaltending, we wouldn't have been in this situation. I'll bet you guys anything that Jim Montgomery was giving a huge sigh of relief because that meant he kept his job. That defense is gonna give me a heart attack one of these days.
The defense is fine , they killed 20 of 21 penalties , gave up only 12 goals in 7 games , kept toronto to the outside and clogged the slot , blocked high danger shots and made them dump the puck in from neutral zone ... they played amazing Defensive structured hockey and capitalized off Toronto's mistakes
Yes the leafs are master chokers. I just laugh at the leafs fans. If the leafs can avoid winning the cup to 2027, it will be a half century of futility. Now all toronto media will be talking about how the leafs need to do.A B and C to improve. I am glad i am an NFL.and baseball fan.
the officiating was so bad in this series and has made the playoffs a slog in general over the last 5 or so years. they really need to improve it. and im sorry if an 18 year old kid can stand up and do interviews after a game so should grown men who ref these games.
@Reoat-ib9dk to date: those conflicts were the only two that the Americans can claim they won... Even though the allies won it with them. They've lost literally every other conflict they've been in in the 20th/21st century.... often miserably and embarrassingly.... kinda like: the Bruins in the Postseason 😆
@Reoat-ib9dk lol typical response from fragile-ego Bruins fans. "yOuЯ tEaM hAs nEvEЯ wØn a cUp!" And had it not been for Montreal and Vancouver choking 2-0 leads: neither would Boston (in this century). Bruins fans so sensitive to the fact that their 2011 Cup win was actually a result of being on the other end of a choke... It wasn't like they ground out a win the Canucks choked that series away and at least I can admit that. Come talk to me next Sunday when you're golfing and the Panthers are getting ready for either the Rangers or the Hurricanes. Because Boston ain't getting past the Panthers. It ain't happening, pal 🤣🤣
