I Was Wrong About This DLC... [God of War Ragnarok Valhalla Spoiler Review] 

Best dlc ever in all 2023

The ending of the dlc is something so many people wish they could do

it was such a great call back to it all. Was waiting for his old self to speak with the old actor

So far my favorite watch moment is when Sigrun shows up to save them. I used up too much of my HotSpot Data this month and thus just don't have enough to get the download done yet. I know that I mentioned that I can't play the DLC yet cause of my HotSpot but I didn't go into details about it. And GOWRV is the perfect example of a reasonable DLC File Size. Normally I'm reluctant to do DLC's because I just don't have enough HotSpot Data to handle those big file sizes that usually accompany the DLC's. For example a 45GB DLC File Size would take me about 5 month's to get done. 10 GB for the first 4 month's and then 5 GB for the 5th month. And that's if I use my HotSpot on nothing else during that time. Too long, way too long. Most I'd do is 3 months. What's also nice about GOWRV is that it's the type of DLC that isn't triggered from the PSN Store. It's an auto download.

I think the timing is also on point. I wouldnt say its an exaggeration that many of the players of the GOW franchize grew up with the game itself or at least grew with it. The early games being an action packed edgy thrill ride with some clearly morally ambiguous actions. However, all in the name of making those who wronged Kratos pay for their hubris and callous actions. Thats the perspective at least. Fast forward 8 years. Many of us have grown. Started families, settled down, or have a plan and trajectory in life, or are genuinely searching but feel lost. In comes GOW, a soft reboot. One that takes place with a different era of Kratos. One that reflects many of us who played the fjrst games when we didnt have the responsibility we have now. After the Witcher 3, The Last of Us, and others that gave more profound storytelling, now comes a franchize we all knew and lived presented in a different light. Valhalla was the therapy session we didnt know we all needed.

This dlc has got be be in the top 10 dlc’s of all time

Question will be, will there be a full release of RAGNAROK (adding DLC) on physical form? It feels like we will never keep it and it will be only online. Regardless much appreciated SM. Still waiting for remake&remaster of God of War 1&2.

This DLC is phenomenal, I’m just surprised ppl thought that it wasn’t going to have story, it’s Santa Monica. Great video 😂
