Great to hear from you! I hope all is well and that you and your family are thriving!! When you took the soap out and said 'clearly is are no issues what so ever inside the tin'; I almost spit my coffee!! 🤣 Well played!! Have a great weekend! 🤙 #WAD
~Hope That All Is Well With You & Yours Chris... Maybe On Your Next Appearance You Can Let Us Know On How You Are Doing... How Is Your Mom.. Take Good Care Of Yourself.
Nice to hear from you! Hope all is well. At risk of sounding sanctimonious - for those that care about planet earth, at least some of the time we should all get a hard puck in a recyclable cardboard box like a Tabac or DR Harris or one of the refill pucks from Stirling, and put it in a nice mug. Stirling has a mug that fits their refill pucks quite well. And skip both plastic, and metal. Using a beautiful tool like a stainless steel razor instead of a plastic cartridge razor is a better experience. Using a beautiful porcelain mug instead of a plastic tub is the same thing. Apologies for preaching but the amount of plastic in the world is not a good thing. There is your PSA for the day! Cheers.
Off topic question. How sharp are the Astra Superior Platinum blades? How will the shave be with an Astra blade in a Wilkinson Sword Classic(the black version)?
You remain a true and genuine gentleman CDB... You didn't need to apologize when it is about an opinion. As it gave us the chance to hear from you once again, it is a blessing... you are missed sir...
Thnx Chris, I believe we speak the same lingo. No apologies nessary here. You’re the best. Keep sending us info. I’ve only been w/ya since 017. Good day 🤠
Hahahaha. Glad to see a video from you Chris! I do have stainless steel shave bowls with a lid that I keep my favorite pucks in, and there have been no issues like that !
No apologies necessary, some of the tins were extremely susceptible to very easy denting and creasing. Greatly prefer the popular plastic tubs over the glass and tin ones.
The problem is that's not a tin of PdP 63. That heavenly scent will cover all problems. Seriously though, my tin of well used PdP looks fine. It doesn't get put away wet though. I think I'll use it in the morning. Breakfast hasn't been the same without your videos.
Nice to hear your voice. It takes a certain level of maturity to admit they are wrong. You have that maturity in spades. We miss your shaving knowledge. I have been wet shaving for about 2 years now and what I have realized is that once you do your homework and get good gear, you don't need to keep buying the latest and greatest stuff because what you have works perfectly. We are taught by advertisers that your life isn't good enough and will be so much better if you buy their products. This is absolute nonsense. My background is in Marketing so I have been on the side of companies pushing their crap. I now advocate for being happy with less. I don't need 50 razors to feel good about my shave or 50 soap sets. I have 1 DE razor, 2 shaving bowls, and 2 brushes. I have no plans to add to that collection unless something breaks, which I don't anticipate. Take care.
Good to hear from you Chris. Glad you are well. Been thinking of you. Heard peacocks at Scone palace this morning and reminded me of your comments. Have a blessed weekend. Very best regards Gordon 👍
Nice to hear from you Chris. I see nothing wrong with tins but it's fine if some don't like it as I see it like a razor or blade as we all have our own preferences. Have a great weekend
ah, a sense of humor, sarcastic, but humor none the less. I see your spiritual journey has taken you down the path of turning the other cheek, and letting go of your pride🤣. Your intellect is shining brightly though.. good stuff🤣. Hope all is well🙏🏼
