@@vittoriosavian9964I wouldn’t say that Almost any card that impact multiple players at once can be considered a commander card. Rhystic study funny enough is one of the most terrible cards in a 1v1 format, trust me when I say this play it in arena in brawl and you’ll instantly notice the difference of it only being 1v1 vs 1v3 +. Cards like Murktide and Black discard is also comparatively worse in commander than any other format. With only a few selective discards spells really working depending your commander at the helm. This is why you’ll rarely if ever see blacks main form of non creature disruption. As black is horrible for when it comes to interaction for artifacts and enchantments that are already on board. And with most cheap hand disruption that selectively discards only one opponent, that is where it is significantly worse in commander than any other format. Because selective discard most if not always only impacts 1 person and as a result you and that player go down in resources to the other players at the table.

If I'm reading Selective Obliteration right, it will exile lands as well, because: A: it says each permanent instead of nonland permanent. B: lands don't have a color. So basically Armageddon returns.

FYI, "Vanilla" is NO abilities. What is referenced is "French Vanilla," which are just like they have just one keyword ability like Flying or Deathtouch.

Dua color isn't exactly one color. They won't be affected at all.

Exiles all permanents except colourless and only that colour. So even a player with a lot of mono-colour stuff like Golgari elves will likely lose something (either their black death triggers stuff or their green mana and tokens). This is a very good card which isn't that hard to play in monocolour, the CC can be paid with Sol Ring, Hedron Archive, Thran Dynamo, etc.

This will be the bane of five color decks.

Yes, that looks to be the intent. Multicolor permanents, by definition, can never be "only the color their controller chose (or colorless)"

If you REALLY want to get chaotic, use it in response to someone's Expropriate.

Copy Tempt with Discovery

Copying any tempt spell with tempt with mayhem is pretty crazy. If you copy a tempt with discovery, assuming the other players are tempted by both your mayhem and discovery triggers, you'll grab 20 lands out of your library and everyone else will get 10 (napkin math).

You'd have to sac the dragon if you did that on an empty board. It needs your own fodder to work which is why it's not broken.

I just heared him saying it does, but if this is the case isn't it the first ever permanent that can interact with experience counters? Might be wrong on that. Seem alright tho except for the fact it is specific and tied to black (guess it would be better in green or so )

@@bobybosss2529 Permanent, yes. Card, no. Final Act (another spoiler) also removes counters from opponents.

Suncleanser from m19 is the first permanent to remove experience counters from players. Solemnity could prevent more from being gained, but didn't remove the ones the player already had

​@@andrewamann2821with a Painter's Servant out, everyone just chooses the color the servant named. Anything that was already another color will have been made multicolor (and thus impossible to save), while already colorless permanents will all be the same one color (so choosing the color the Sevant named saved all of them). It would effectively make Selective Obliteration an almost but not quite All Is Dust. Note that permanents that were already only the color that the Painter's Servant named would also stick around.
