Fun fact, this is the mouse design that led to the MZ1, because I didn't like this shape. 😂 Xtrfy were like "Ok, well, can you design one then?" And I was like "Sure, probably." Long story short: MZ1 exists. As BT suggested though, you gotta try these things to really know if they're going to help your aim or not. M4 didn't work for Zy, M4 did work for Zywoo. I usually don't refer to myself in the third person but had to for the sake of that joke. Good review!
Lmao that’s crazy you should do a break down video(thought process) of how you went from the m4 to the mz1 and all the shapes you tried before landing on the mz1 that would be a pretty interesting watch. And as always thank you! Means a lot coming from you.
@@Theunsfalcon No its not,...i main the mz1 for many months now...if you are a REAL 999% FingerTip Gamer its awesome, especially if you have smaller hands. But sure, if you are one of those Intelli 3.0 Hands like Boats Users this mouse is not for you, and everybody knew it because RJN even said it himself BEFORE the mouse was even available, anyway...more interesting is the fact, that you just jump in here, adding literally zero to the conversation...so yeah, you are just another nice example of the cancel culture 2021. . Before you feel personally attacked, which you should :D imagine what Jesus would say now ? "If you have nothing nice to say, just stfu !" . Fu#+#+##+# Cancel Culture...Negativity everywhere, i am sick of this BS. If you don´t like the mz1 because it was NOT your SHAPE okay,...fine,...but dont come in here and write "maybe only for you..." with a nice little "i guess" at the end. What the fuck is wrong with you ? . Just come in and drop a gentle comment, something like this maybe... "i had the mouse for 3 weeks and tried hard to get used to the shape but it really was not feeling right and i returned it, maybe for others it fits better but for ME it was a total failure"... . Anyway, ...this Comment really made me feel "uncomfortable" but maybe for you those kind of negative comments are making you feel "comfortable", but its only on your side,...I GUESS ?! :D . No worries comrade, dawai dawai, and take this little essay and monologue of mine not toooo serious but still...think about what Jesus would say, before you start typing. The MZ1 is awesome for me and from all the idk 60 or 70 Gaming Mice i have, it sure needed the most "GameTime" to get used to it and some GripTape on the Sides. (hope to see a set of GripTape in the Package next time winky winky ^^) . ULTRA MAXIMUM FINGERTIP GRIP, barely touching the mouse at all...but yeah, i have Hands like a SpacePrincess so maybe thats why you really could not get used to it, because its too tiny (GRIP TAPE BABYYY)....! . ok i need to get back to my UFO now, to fly around with the boyz in the neighbourhood and abduct some cows or burn some crop circles into the corn fields...stuff like that. ^^ . have a nice Day !
I was going to hold out for a M42 Wireless but you make a good point about trying new shapes. I might give this a go. Great video as always, and hopefully you didn't do too much damage to mic at the end 😆😅
can't wait for the wireless M42. I love it, but they need to improve some things. Glad to see that you can screw the shell on permanently with this - as my m42 shell has become wobbly. Also there's slight ring-finger pinch with the m42 that I hope they fix. Otherwise it's the best shape/mouse I've used to date.
Wow every time I watch a video I always have to resist buying what you are reviewing. Your reviews are so good and make me want to buy stuff. Love your stuff BT! 👍
I owned the M4 Retro, first launch. I currently have the M4 Kripparrian and now the wireless. In terms of build quality and clicks, the Kripparrian is still is the best. Pre-travel is evident in the wireless, but not nearly as much as the Kripparrian. Wired and wireless use the same mouse feet design. I don't feel the need to buy aftermarket after a day of letting them smooth out.
I got the Tokyo edition. Lovely cable but im not loving the clicks /gloss yet. I almost chose the kripp but wanted a gp4 pad.. is it a big diff in actuation force/feel in kripp compared to the retro ? Im used to g303 light clicks which are my favorite( tho i enjoyed the quality clicks kailh 8.0 in mz1)
@@wilkinsos The Kripp feels the lightest of the three I've owned. I don't own any Logitech mice anymore, so I cannot make a comparison. The Kripp edition has much less pre travel than the wireless, maybe since the front of the Kripp has an RGB strip. It's the best built mouse of the three. It's still a mouse I'd paracord though. The cable is better than the Retro's, but not great imo.
Some people criticise the battery life, saying it should be more. Some people criticise the weight, saying it should be less, but they say the battery life is already too much and that there's no point having a 100 hour mouse. The structure of the mouse is good well reinforced and very lightweight, there is barely more than 2g that could be saved. An easy saving is the logo piece at 1g but the battery carrier adds another 2g and could have been hollowed out more. Anyway just about all the weight variability that is there is in the 11g battery, so... The battery and the battery carrier is also the shifting weight in the mouse, the mouse doesn't have artificial weights in it.
Been looking for a wireless mouse and im torn between the d- (currently have the Wired D), the razer viper ultimate or the pwnge but i do prefer the ergo shape so this is definitely an option i might consider
Man I miss the 2018-2019 era of peripherals, always got me so hyped to see all the progress in mice and everything. Just doesn't have that same feel anymore.
I dunno man, I drop 30 bombs all the time with the EC2-C lol. Love the Xtrfy M4/Fenek Swift shape though. I really wish they would do a grippy coating or a solid shell. Maybe finger grooves. It's the only thing stopping me from maining it. If I experience long periods of downtime, like on defense if T-side doesn't come to your site and your team keeps wiping them out, I notice my aim goes cold much quicker with the M4. I have the same problem with the Np-01's button coating. Plus, I don't think Vaxee should have gone with flat buttons. They do work better on the m4 shape though with support coming from the right side and top knuckles. If we could get an Np-01 with EC finger grooves, an m4 slope and right side, and endgame dark frost coating, it'd be the greatest mouse of all time.
does anyone have an issue with the mwheel of the mouse, i got it today and its less clicky than the wired version, the "recoil" is missing so when clicking the mwheel you just feel that it doesnt come on its own
If there is a black version it probably does. White pigment adds 2g on average to the weight of the mouse shell. This is not a joke, i mean it, white pigment is that much heavier because it's a ceramic (titanium dioxide), it's transparent, and you need a lot of it to bend that incoming light back out and not just look translucent. Black pigment is carbon soot and you need very very little of it, it's very effective at absorbing light.
I have the original wired version of this mouse, and I did not find the shape comfortable to hold, too many curves resulting in a narrow grip that cramped my larger size hands.
