I always thought of the verse “He was a mighty hunter before the Lord” as basically saying, to Nimrods people, that he came before the Lord in their eyes and hearts. Not equal to the Lord but as he is better than the Lord to them. Immediately after it reads “Therefore it is said “Like Nimrod a mighty hunter BEFORE the Lord”. Who said this? Prolly Nimrods people. He would have been a God King to them. And as such prolly did initiate the Tower as such a man would desire to make his very seat of power in the heavens, much like Lucifer himself.

Funny how the word "nimrod" is used today to describe someone who is acting like an idiot or jerk. It does not have a positive connotation at all. But those particular verses do read as if there was a time when Nimrod was seen as a great man. I think you're right. It probably was only his people who thought that he was so great. They helped him build his tower after all. And then later, in Genesis 11, when we read about the tower being destroyed by God and the language being confounded, we're told that all men were present and a part of that project. How did Nimrod get everyone to follow him? He probably killed the ones who didn't. And God watched the whole time! So technically, Nimrod was before the Lord doing the things he did. This story makes me think about what Jesus said in *Matthew 5:21-22 KJV* : *21* Ye have heard that it was said of them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment: *22* But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire. God's grace has allowed the human race to survive this long. As Christians, we're supposed to be TEACHING all people how to love and trust God. We can teach with our words and with our actions. Adam watched Eve be tempted into eating the forbidden fruit. He didn't speak up or try to physically stop her and they both fell. But they were innocent. Like babies, they had no idea what it meant to die. And they definitely didn't know what it meant to be good or evil. Eve saw that the fruit was good for food, but she was TOLD that it was good to make one wise like God. Adam and Eve were just being what God created them to be, human. God knew they would eat because God is sovereign and knows all things. What we see today is what we were destined to be. I think the entire Bible teaches us three basic principles: 1. We are beings created to embody the spirit of God. 2. We have the knowledge of good and evil because we ate from the tree God intentionally put in the garden. The serpent was also intentionally put there. We are now "like" God, thanks to God. *Gen 2: 22KJV* : And the Lord God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever: 3. Because God is good, He had already prepared a way for us to live eternally through the tree of life, which is Jesus Christ. Some will choose to believe this and others won't. But if we truly love God, we will be our brother's keeper, and share the good news! And what does all 👆have to do with Nimrod? Nimrod was our leader at one point.. lol. We must be born again.

You refer to a faulty translation of the description of Nimrod. Hebrew scholars translate it as: "He was a mighty hunter of men before the Lord" meaning that he terrorised neighbouring tribes capturing humans for sacrifice on his tower which was in fact a ziggurat for sacrificing humans to appease his Gods. The releasing of blood and burning of flesh provided the odic energy nescessary for the evil spirits to manifest before his people.

And all nations and tongues heard of Nimrods fame, and they gathered themselves to him and they bowed down to the earth, and they brought him offerings, and he became their lord and king, and they all dwelt with him in the city of Shinar, and Nimrod reigned in the earth over all the sons of Noah, and they were all under his power and counsel. And all the earth was of one tongue and words of union, but Nimrod did not go in the ways of the Lord, and he was more wicked than all the men that were before him, from the days of the flood until those days. And he made Gods of wood and stone, and he bowed down to them, and he rebelled against the Lord, and taught all his subjects and the people of the earth his wicked ways; and Mardon his son was more wicked than his father. And every one that heard of the acts of Mardon the son of Nimrod would say, concerning him, "from the wicked goeth forth wickedness"; therefore it became a proverb in the whole earth, saying, "from the wicked goeth forth wickedness," and it was current in the words of men from that time to this. What I've always wondered is, was Canaan born already when Noah cursed him, or was he cursing Ham's first born? Because we know he planted the vineyard after leaving the Ark and I just wonder if Canaan was already born? Because it seems like all Ham's sons were basically cursed in the end, maybe as the ripple effect of our consequences is shown?

Bingo!!! Now, how could Nimrod be a mighty man when he was conceived by Ham and his wife? She would have had to have relations with an angel for him to be a Nephilliam. Also, you will see later that he had a lot to do with the tower of Babel. Somebody else had that same attitude as Nimrod.

Genesis 10:6-20 CEV Ham's descendants had their own languages, tribes, and land. They were Ethiopia, Egypt, Put, and Canaan. Cush was the ancestor of Seba, Havilah, Sabtah, Raamah, and Sabteca. Raamah was the ancestor of Sheba and Dedan. Cush was also the ancestor of Nimrod, a mighty warrior whose strength came from the LORD. This is why people say: “You hunt like Nimrod with the strength of the LORD!” Nimrod first ruled in Babylon, Erech, and Accad, all of which were in Babylonia. From there Nimrod went to Assyria and built the great city of Nineveh. He also built Rehoboth-Ir and Calah, as well as Resen, which is between Nineveh and Calah. Egypt was the ancestor of Ludim, Anamim, Lehabim, Naphtuhim, Pathrusim, Casluhim, and Caphtorim, the ancestor of the Philistines. Canaan's sons were Sidon and Heth. Canaan was also the ancestor of the Jebusites, the Amorites, the Girgashites, the Hivites, the Arkites, the Sinites, the Arvadites, the Zemarites, and the Hamathites. Later the Canaanites spread from the territory of Sidon and settled as far away as Gaza in the direction of Gerar. They also went as far as Lasha in the direction of Sodom, Gomorrah, Admah, and Zeboiim.

GENESIS 10 The Family Tree of Noah’s Sons 1This is the family tree of the sons of Noah: Shem, Ham, and Japheth. After the flood, they themselves had sons. 2The sons of Japheth: Gomer, Magog, Madai, Javan, Tubal, Meshech, Tiras. 3The sons of Gomer: Ashkenaz, Riphath, Togarmah. 4-5The sons of Javan: Elishah, Tarshish, Kittim, Rodanim. The seafaring peoples developed from these, each in its own place by family, each with its own language. 6The sons of Ham: Cush, Egypt, Put, Canaan. 7The sons of Cush: Seba, Havilah, Sabtah, Raamah, Sabteca. The sons of Raamah: Sheba, Dedan. 8-12Cush also had Nimrod. He was the first great warrior on Earth. He was a great hunter before God. There was a saying, “Like Nimrod, a great hunter before God.” His kingdom got its start with Babel; then Erech, Akkad, and Calneh in the country of Shinar. From there he went up to Asshur and built Nineveh, Rehoboth Ir, Calah, and Resen between Nineveh and the great city Calah. 13-14Egypt was ancestor to the Ludim, the Anamim, the Lehabim, the Naphtuhim, the Pathrusim, the Casluhim (the origin of the Philistines), and the Kaphtorim. 15-19Canaan had Sidon his firstborn, Heth, the Jebusites, the Amorites, the Girgashites, the Hivites, the Arkites, the Sinites, the Arvadites, the Zemarites, and the Hamathites. Later the Canaanites spread out, going from Sidon toward Gerar, as far south as Gaza, and then east all the way over to Sodom, Gomorrah, Admah, Zeboiim, and on to Lasha. 20These are the descendants of Ham by family, language, country, and nation. 21Shem, the older brother of Japheth, also had sons. Shem was ancestor to all the children of Eber. 22The sons of Shem: Elam, Asshur, Arphaxad, Lud, and Aram. 23The sons of Aram: Uz, Hul, Gether, Meshech. 24-25Arphaxad had Shelah and Shelah had Eber. Eber had two sons, Peleg (so named because in his days the human race divided) and Joktan. 26-30Joktan had Almodad, Sheleph, Hazarmaveth, Jerah, Hadoram, Uzal, Diklah, Obal, Abimael, Sheba, Ophir, Havilah, and Jobab-all sons of Joktan. Their land goes from Mesha toward Sephar as far as the mountain ranges in the east. 31These are the descendants of Shem by family, language, country, and nation. 32This is the family tree of the sons of Noah as they developed into nations. From them nations developed all across the Earth after the flood

Leviticus 18. Do not do as the Canaanites ( or. ' the activities found in the land of Kenaan'). and then this chapter proceeds to list sexual sin. The 'Giants' were bred back into existence through this line because of this practice of incest ( of which Canaan was a product).

You looking at the wrong people read luke and understand that Jesus says them at the city will be full and control by the gentile till the time of the gentile ends. His people was scattered into slavery all around the world. He not going to gather them all until the last trumpet blows. Ezekiel 20:30 read on down. He going to do a repeat of Egypt but because his people been scattered worldwide will he judge the nations before he gathers them all not one will be left behind according to him. Because when the dragon the ancient snake is kick out of heaven will he make a direct bee line to them the most hated and mocked people on the face of this earth called by proverbs. Than Joel Chp 3 will happen as it repeated in revelation those that took in captivity will themselves go into captivity, those that killed by the sword will be killed by the sword. God going to gather all tribes and they going to be put in all they land when according to the Bible is all of the Middle East and part of Africa. Than will they dwell in complete safety because they king will be on earth ruling for thousands years. Afterwards will the nations gather together again one less time to fight the king of kings. He judges his people start in the wilderness not one that is wicked is going into his kingdom. He just not going to destroy at that time all the wicked people in the nation he going to leave a very small remaining amount which will grow doing the thousand year reign. Every one of Noal son ancestors had a cause to rule the earth and every one did. Josphet the one that birth the gentile is ruling now. After him Sham will rule but his rule will be forever as king of kings (Jesus) will rule with his father. As his people will be in the inner city and all the others nations in the outer parts. His people will be near him forever as the other nations will be on the out side of the land. But all real be able to go to the city but of his people will be allowed in the inner court and only a pick few of his people not everybody. He had a order and it was written from the beginning repeated in the book of revelation.Daniel man going to build a palace if you read the second to last chapter, God Almighty don’t even call it His temple there because it not. He never ordained it to be build at that time it the seat of the man of sin trying to make himself God Almighty. His temple will be doing the thousand year reign and afterwards the holy city itself will come out of the sky.

Issac, Israel, has Esau who is "Red" and he is in all reality , cursed. Judah married a Canaanite, Shuah and had a son named Er. Er married Tamar and he died before any child was conceived. Tamar commits whoredom with Judah and gives birth to twin's, Zarah, the first born had a "Red" thread tied around his wrist, cursed. At least two concerning The Tower of Babel...one where the men where they spoke the same language, and were given their own lands. One where they built the Tower, and God confused their language, then separated them. Before that, it reads that Cain begot Enoch, and a City would be build with his name... Cain died, but the City was built. Enoch did not walk with God, nor did he not die, and God took him. At least three of the brothers and sons of Noah At least two of Canaan. On At least three of God's Promise to Abrahm At least two of Jacob marrying Rachel with Leban's Blessing...and the other with the seven years of basic slavery until he can marry her... Etc. ..... Do this whole "Come, let us" sounds like an acknowledgement of a sort of arrogance, in a sort of mocking way. Come let us burn bricks. Cuz we're so smart. Come let us build a tower. Cuz we're so cool. So is God doing the same thing here? Is he saying the whole tower of babel thing was a sort of arrogant mistake? Is the same to be said about "Come, let us make ma kind in our image" Like, "Why did we do this? That was dumb. Now the humans are all smart and rebellious"

mm the use of the word "word" is interesting coz if you think if Gods word refers to THE WORD aka the one who executes the instructions of God the father then to use the word in that sentence could mean they all acted on the same ideas and plans hence why they all agreed to build the city they were thinking and working as one. which is what God wants but not for that selfish prideful intention.

I'm currently trying to write up a chart of the genealogy of the bible and it is supper complicated coz of the language but fascinating to see how the tribes form and where they lead to. if there is one thing that I learned its in the beginning before the laws, God seems to be "ok" with sibling incest coz they had to to grow the population but he was never ok with parent and child incest. nothing good ever seems to comes from that combo neither was he really ever fully happy with affairs and having multiple wives.

Shalom & Hello Brother, I really enjoyed watching Your video, great insight. Genius 10:8-10. And Cush begat Nimrod; he began to be a mighty One in the earth. 9, He was a mighty hunter before the Lord: wherefore it is Said, Even as Nimrod the mighty hunter before the Lord. 10, And the beginning of his kingdom was Bable, and Erech, and Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar. So in other words Nimrod: he was the first on Earth to be a Mighty Hunter of Man (as He Slaughtered those throughout the Lands) & Created his kingdoms, of Bable, Erech, Accad, and Calneh & in the Land of Shinar & in Eyes of the Lord, He was a Siner & an Evil Man. According to the book of Jasher, the skins of the animal that God clothed Adam and Eve with were taken aboard the ark and Ham stole them and gave them to Cush, who in turn gave them to his son Nimrod. Apparently the skins held some kind of power that made Nimrod a mighty hunter, which God allowed. Read the Book of Jasher [expounds further on unexplained parts of Genesis].

That's one thing I noticed in the bible. God seems to create everything except sound. Yet he uses sound by his voice to create everything. So does this mean sound and light are linked? When the bible says "The word is God", how literal am I supposed to take that? Is God actually linked to sound waves? Is that part of his tool belt?

The part written where it says they all had 1 language & spoke the same word(s). I was thinking how or what that would be like*.. or what type of that is similar today. And interesting enough alot of different tribes of off grid/ peoples would be the likes of A Few African Tribes that I have actually heard. And how they communicate is certainly way more different than the popular Languages we know hear & use. Some if the Tribal land people have this where when they talk & speak to each other it something so different diverse doubt it could even be taught or even leran by outsiders.. when they speak to each other they make strange clicking tongue sounds, that sound all the same when each communicate to each tribe member. But somehow they each understand its possibly how they say it with timing of the vocal tongue clicks with while making different expressions too when using their unique Cultural ways.

Nations Descended from Noah 10 Now this is the genealogy of the sons of Noah: Shem, Ham, and Japheth. And sons were born to them after the flood. 2 The sons of Japheth were Gomer, Magog, Madai, Javan, Tubal, Meshech, and Tiras. 3 The sons of Gomer were Ashkenaz, [a]Riphath, and Togarmah. 4 The sons of Javan were Elishah, Tarshish, Kittim, and [b]Dodanim. 5 From these the coastland peoples of the Gentiles were separated into their lands, everyone according to his language, according to their families, into their nations. 6 The sons of Ham were Cush, Mizraim, [c]Put, and Canaan. 7 The sons of Cush were Seba, Havilah, Sabtah, Raamah, and Sabtechah; and the sons of Raamah were Sheba and Dedan. 8 Cush begot Nimrod; he began to be a mighty one on the earth. 9 He was a mighty hunter before the Lord; therefore it is said, “Like Nimrod the mighty hunter before the Lord.” 10 And the beginning of his kingdom was Babel, Erech, Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar. 11 From that land he went to Assyria and built Nineveh, Rehoboth Ir, Calah, 12 and Resen between Nineveh and Calah (that is the principal city). 13 Mizraim begot Ludim, Anamim, Lehabim, Naphtuhim, 14 Pathrusim, and Casluhim (from whom came the Philistines and Caphtorim). 15 Canaan begot Sidon his firstborn, and Heth; 16 the Jebusite, the Amorite, and the Girgashite; 17 the Hivite, the Arkite, and the Sinite; 18 the Arvadite, the Zemarite, and the Hamathite. Afterward the families of the Canaanites were dispersed. 19 And the border of the Canaanites was from Sidon as you go toward Gerar, as far as Gaza; then as you go toward Sodom, Gomorrah, Admah, and Zeboiim, as far as Lasha. 20 These were the sons of Ham, according to their families, according to their languages, in their lands and in their nations. 21 And children were born also to Shem, the father of all the children of Eber, [d]the brother of Japheth the elder. 22 The sons of Shem were Elam, Asshur, Arphaxad, Lud, and Aram. 23 The sons of Aram were Uz, Hul, Gether, and [e]Mash. 24 [f]Arphaxad begot Salah, and Salah begot Eber. 25 To Eber were born two sons: the name of one was [g]Peleg, for in his days the earth was divided; and his brother’s name was Joktan. 26 Joktan begot Almodad, Sheleph, Hazarmaveth, Jerah, 27 Hadoram, Uzal, Diklah, 28 [h]Obal, Abimael, Sheba, 29 Ophir, Havilah, and Jobab. All these were the sons of Joktan. 30 And their dwelling place was from Mesha as you go toward Sephar, the mountain of the east. 31 These were the sons of Shem, according to their families, according to their languages, in their lands, according to their nations. 32 These were the families of the sons of Noah, according to their generations, in their nations; and from these the nations were divided on the earth after the flood. Perhaps God didn't need to come all the way down to "verify" what they were doing. He is pretty high up afterall. Then came down even lower, closer to them to then confuse there language. Otherwise, perhaps ai would have been created thousands of years ago and man would have long ago turned themselves into abominable dragons, literally. Afterall, just 150 years of technological development is all that is needed from ai to spawn smarter ai which would unlock any and all of mans perverse goals and dreams of becoming "like god".

It is not Canonical. I have read the Complete Apocrypha. It was written much after the Bible was written. But yes it is very informative of the times. The book of Jasher talks more about Enoch than the book of Enoch…

@rosemarietolentino3218 it is not canonical but it was quoted by jude so there must be some relevance to it i would think. Jasher ive heard mixed things on, depends on you listen to. Ken Johnson is a good one though.

@@lisakimbrell1406 When Enoch claims to be what only Jesus can be, then yes, there's a contradiction with the clear standard that we have. It's second temple literature, not inspired, authoritative scripture because of its contradictions with the Scriptures we have. Peter and Jude reference it, but Scripture references lots of sources that aren't divine authoritative scripture.

Here’s a thought…Initially Adam and Eve were given dominion on the earth. I believe at least in part that is what it meant to be created in the image of God. God had dominion and He created beings who also were given dominion. After the flood, I believe the one with the dominion was Noah. That means Noah had authority on the Earth and when he cursed Canaan as a slave to Shem and Japheth, it meant that Noah had the right to make such declarations because he was the patriarch. He had the authority. And isn’t it interesting that when God chose where to establish his people, he led them to the land of Canaan to conquer it as the promised land. Bear in mind that the slave is not entitled to the land, God could have taken them anywhere. God could turn a desert into a land flowing with milk and honey, but because of Noah’s declaration God‘s people had the legal right to the land of Canaan. Of course, I don’t believe this is true under the new covenant today. All people can be free in Christ Jesus. They just need to choose him in order to become the children of God, and those who belong to God are to love their enemies and not take their land.

At that time Moses was born, and he was beautiful in the sight of God. For three months he was nurtured in his father's house. Hebrews 11:23 By faith Moses' parents hid him for three months after his birth, because they saw that he was a beautiful child, and they were unafraid of the king's edict. Exodus 6:20 And Amram married his father's sister Jochebed, and she bore him Aaron and Moses. Amram lived 137 years. Numbers 26:59 and Amram's wife was named Jochebed. She was also a daughter of Levi, born to Levi in Egypt. To Amram she bore Aaron, Moses, and their sister Miriam.
