Your story is typical and extremely sad. If you have been saved in the church 46 years and this is the best you've ever heard and experienced? I guess it is typical of common sheep going to a dead Church and do nothing in the Kingdom their whole life but attend a 10:00 Sunday church current you should have been preaching and teaching the word yourself all those years. You only have a couple-2 more years to labor in the Kingdom

And they parted his raiment, and cast lots. 1 Timothy 4:12. Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, and in purity. 2 Timothy 1:6. FAN INTO THE FLAME the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands. Isaiah 52:7. How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who publishes peace, who brings good news of happiness, who publishes salvation, who says to Zion, "Your God reigns". 1 Thessalonians 5-12-13. We ask you brothers, to RESPECT those who labor among you and are over you in the Lord and ADMONISH you, and to ESTEEM them very HIGHLY in LOVE because of their work. Be at PEACE among yourselves. They never claimed this was the "best they have ever heard and experienced" but they simply gave refreshing encouragement. I urge you to slow down and self examine yourself, as I have often had to do and still do. See that you are still in the faith and not letting the "old man" reign free in your life.

He who has my commands and keeps them, it’s the one that loves me. I think by keeping his commandments it’s the perfect ways to carry his name and if you carry his name ask wahatever you want it will be given to you. It’s not necessarily to end our prayers by saying in Jesus name, like a magic word because we already have his name written on us (if we keep his word of course)

When you honor your mother and father and their house you are seen to be obedient, respectful etc.. So whenever you fail and do wrong you bring shame to the house of your family and the father the head of the house and brought dishonor to the name of your family. So the Lord the father, creator, all mighty showing the Lord obedience by honoring,praising, and following his commands putting him above all is to bring honor and treat the Lord's name as sacred precious giving your whole heart and to show dishonor is multiple ways that brings shame

Praying in His name means in His authority (His identity & His character). When we marry we carry a name. It's about connection to the source of power not the name (as a noun). Jesus said about the Father, "I have made your name known." But he never once said or told everyone His name. John 17:26 "Name" in Biblical context means position of Authority. "Lord" means master. "Lord is my name", biblically means l, my position of authority is your master. When we pray in Jesus name, we are praying to the Father recognizing Jesus as the authority over us as our mediator between us and God. Jesus made known that knowledge comes from God(The Father). This is how Jesus made God's "name"(position of authority) known. When you pray to God with your bible questions in Jesus name/ authority, then Jesus steps in as the mediator over you and teaches you what you prayed to God to know. Jesus uses the holy spirit to communicate those answers, from Jesus to you.

Ah, but brother, let's remember: the Father was kind to Abel, Seth, Job, Noah, Enoch, Abraham, Melchizedek, etc., etc., long before He sent the Word as Jesus to take away our sins. In Romans 3:21-25, it says He was lenient on sins in the past before Jesus. He's always loved the righteous [not the "perfect"] and hated the wicked. He didn't make any of us to reject us, but to continue the lives He gave us eternally, IF we will turn from evil and give Him obedience He's due. It seems the argument about the name of our God is going to continue, sadly! No matter what appropriate name HE is called doesn’t change the truth of WHO HE IS!! But there is a whole world, that we don’t see, that isn’t confused AT ALL and that is the enemy!! It says in Ephesians 3:9-12 NKJV - in God who created all things through Jesus Christ; to the intent that now the manifold wisdom of God might be made known by the church to the principalities and powers in the heavenly places, according to the eternal purpose which He accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord, in whom we have boldness and access with confidence through faith in Him. “The Church” needs to be about the business we are assigned to instead of disputing over things that don’t CHANGE a thing. The time is short and we should be thankful HE called our name!!

What is a name but the nature of a thing? His ‘Name’ is Truth. The literal Spirit of Truth making Him The Word and Life. If ignorance is death, then Truth is life. Christ put to death/away/veiled means we’ve been forgiven for our ignorance of Truth. Though no longer burdened under the law, we are not exempt from it.

How do you know what was taken out? That would assume a perfect, unaltered version to determine this. And then you’d need to historically verify that it is indeed a reliable, perfect original. And how would you undeniably determine that? And why do we assume things were taken out of our modern version rather than things being added to yours later on in history? Many questions to consider.

The essence of HIs name is mentioned in John 17:26, it says in the amplified version , he has made the Fathers' name known to them, He actually says your very self, your character. Now your scripture said "in" His name, the reference is in relation to His Presence. Remember theres a scripture that mentions His name to be a strong tower and that when the righteous run into it they are safe. His name is His presence and in His presence, He reveals every spiritual endowment which doesnt just speak of HIs character but also His nature. Its not what the name is , its really about what His name entails, it is prophecy, which is the revelation of Jesus Christ. Its a call to see Jesus face to face and to be taught by HIm.

Look at what the NAME of any king meant. Emissaries would be sent out in the name of the king, with a symbol/seal. His words were considered to be from the king, have the authority of the king, and if the emissary misrepresented the king through word or deed, he would likely be killed.

The LORDS name is written on every person’s heart. Over 100 Bible verses attest to this both Old and New Testament. That’s why when a non believer takes the name of The LORD in vain it’s always a character name of the LORD. Believers do it as well! Thinking strongly who God is and what He has done and what He will do is getting into the presence of the LORD.
