jordan peele invented a new type of horror we had never seen with Get out. and so many film makers have tried to create their own Get out and failed miserably
The theater I go to is def surrounded by a more African American community, when I saw this in theaters, people were standing up cheering and going nuts when he was blasting the family. It was hilarious😂😂😂😂
Absolute masterpiece you have to research all the hidden "racial gems" Peele put in this. Peele capitalized on black fear of Caucasians in a brilliant way like perfection isn't even the word. Great commentary excellent
Fun fact the original ending actually was the police and he went to jail but he changed it....this a movie that gets much better on a rewatch. U notice alot more things
Such a great movie! The original ending is available on RU-vid if you ever want to check it out. It actually is the police who show up and arrest him for murder. Obviously test audiences didn't like that so much so it was changed, for the better IMO
this is such a cool movie, no matter how many times i see people talking about the symbolism in every scene i can never get tired of it. so incredible. jordan peele is a genius.
If you can, try to watch a movie explained video about that one, there's SO MUCH more to that movie: like the emphasis on the deers is a reference to black people, so that's why the father talk about it so negatively and with disgust. Also, the reason why she "defend" him from the policeman is so that he doesnt have any record of him so it's easier to make him disappear. And then you watch the movie again and it's so good, almost like watching it for the first time again. Thanks for the video!

They actually were going to have 2 white cops pop out from the police car at the end! You can find the alternate ending online. He only changed it to this one because racism was starting to be dealt with and “people needed a release and hero”. Otherwise we would’ve ended up with Rod visiting Chris in prison 6 months later.
She ate her fruit loops dry and then drank milk from the cup because she thinks white is pure and she doesn't mix colors with white....mind blowing subtle social commentary
