Scarlet Witch is always one of the biggest parts of every movie she is in, since AoU, Civil War, then even Infinity War & when she returns in Endgame. Her character has the ability to subtly control the plot of the movie without even taking the spotlight away from the main characters. I expect nothing less from her in this one.

Honestly I don't think Wanda will be the bad guy in this movie. I could imagine her having a fight with Strange but she was already kinda the bad guy in Wandavision and seemed to have learned from her mistakes. My guess would be that she helps Sttange so he gets the opportunity to get her sons back...

Honestly I agree with this, mainly because Wanda is one of my favourite characters in the MCU and I don’t wanna see her evil 😂 But I do think they will make her look like the main bad guy but then she finds out she is being manipulated by the evil strange. But it could be anything really, like this trailer really didn’t tell us much about the story. For all we know, the 2nd strange could be a good guy, or maybe even it’s the same Strange just he went through a rough patch.

Based on what reliable insiders have said, she is the villain of the movie. I am excited for that because when she’s on her villain shit in the comics she goes bananas so I can’t wait to see how that is portrayed in this movie. Them having a standard villain like Mephisto and Nightmare would have been predictable and boring but Wanda is a nice twist!

I kinda agree, that Wanda will not be the main villain here. Sometimes MCU threw us off, that all we know wanda should be the main villain, but I think Wanda will literally help Strange just that only! I think on some point Wanda could have a solo movie where House of M storyline could pass thru, cos basically that story is the only thing where Wanda became out of control of her magic powers, where she breakdown the reality, just to find her children or maybe Vis. But also its Dr. Strange 2, where there's too much will going on, I think their villains are gonna be Mordo, and that Strange *kinda* evil variant. MCU is always about being patient, slowly building the plot until we could see Wanda a worthy villain.

In the scene where "Evil Strange" reaches out to the Window of the sanctum we can se that his hand is intact and without any trembling. Although it can be tied to other versions of Stephen is worth reminding that Strange Supreme didn't suffered any type of physical damage in his reality, having perfect hands too

Doesn't make sense canonically, takes away the growth of character she had in the last episode of wandavision by letting vision and her kids go. The problem with Wanda's character is Marvel is struggling to handle such an OP character well. Whenever the plot calls for, she can be both good or bad. Pick a side! This can go to shit like dark phoenix, but we will see how they handle Wanda

Just in case you're wondering what that snake thing spell called, it's the Astral Arms of Denak, originally mastered by Brother Voodoo. The other one is called the Mystic Mists of Munnopor--well, the smoke thingy. Let's just hope aside from Wanda and Mordo, Brother Voodoo will make an appearance! I don't think Scarlett Witch will be "the" villain but I think at the end she's going to do something less than heroic. Perhaps after defeating Dark Strange she finds something plot related can be useful to her, and she's going to properly escape, leaving the issue paused but not fully resolved.

I noticed while rewatching “Doctor Strange” that after Strange shouts at Christine, he steps on a paper with his name written multiple times, one of the names were incomplete and instead says “Step”

For that “between the balusters” shot, I was trying figure out how they could have done it. Off the top of my head: build a rig with extending rails, mount a small digital camera (a Digital SLR or even a GoPro) on the end, and extend it between the balusters, and you’ve got the shot, no “fix it in post” needed. (And no partial staircase needed).

The line with Strange and Wanda; “Sooner or later you’d show up.” We don’t actually see Wanda say those lines. I think that’s from the final battle where Strange confronts Wanda.

What if Strange Supreme's universe was already fractured like in "What If?"? And he's here to help Strange to prevent the same fate? Probably stopping Wanda from reversing Vision's death which is a critical point.

@@xdgaming952 White Vision isn't simply Vision reborn. The White Vision is different somehow, and not just Vision’s body without the stone. S.W.O.R.D. obviously did more than just repair the body and juice it up if he’s acting on a “programming directive” And the data transferred from Vision to White Vision isn't White Vision's own memory. After reading more on this topic, it seems to me that Wanda would be trying to find her Vision throughout the multiverse instead of undoing the critical point.

It would be cool if the “don’t cast that spell” line would be shown as part of an alternate reality of the Multiverse of Madness, already inserted in the No Way Home trailer. Remember that in that teaser Strange also blinks to Peter after replying "I won't", something that doesn't happen in the movie either as well as a suspicious way of acting for Strange. Might be part of a convoluted plan by Strange involving alternate realities. Another hypothesis: this trailer recalls the line "there was no other way" from Infinity war, so the Multiverse of Madness could somehow flashback to recount Strange's wandering through 14 millions realities in search for the one that doesn't end bad for the (his) universe in the upcoming war, and in this way showing that his plan ended up being much more far-reaching than just defeating Thanos. Or not :D

Perhaps, strange supreme is not the real villain in this movie, he just comes to address the things that just got out of hand because of Strange and especially Wanda fiddling with the multiverse. Marvel is good at confusing the audience when it comes to the villains, and this is why i believe the real villain is Wanda all along, who's using strange as a ruse to look for her children, and maybe mordo is with her. Strange, having cast the forgetfulness spell, has of course no idea regarding anything what he did and what he should do, thus the mania ensuing in the movie.

The problem with strange supreme being a misdirect is it makes what if completely unnecessary. We know for a fact that What If is cannon to the mcu/mcm and that it will affect movies/shows going forward. I would assume Strange Supreme is the main villain and Wanda being the villain is the true misdirect. The reason Stephen needs help is because he cant beat himself, especially when that other self has access to all kinds of magic he doesn't, which scarlett witch does. More so, Wanda needs REDEMPTION, so her being the villain doesn't help her character arc, but her helping save the multiverse DOES HELP. Same with Loki, he's also rumored to be involved, that's where wanda gets the tva door, loki uses it. But its apparent that DS2 is about second chances and righting wrongs. In order for Loki to make a true "hero/antihero" turn, he needs to be involved in saving the universe.

I've always seen "What If" as a kind of proof of concept, an experiment to see what the audience would receive well or not. It seemed to me like a closed arc which wouldn't affect other productions. I'd find it really confusing if they took Strange Supreme straight out of that pocket dimension to the live action movie. It would be more probable (at least for me) to repeat the whole arc during the movie (if this truly is Strange Supreme) Of course, I'm talking only about my feelings, because I'm not reading any news regarding the movie. You probably are much more informed than I am, but I'd still find it really weird to take a fully developed character from "What if" to the live action movie

Strange supreme wasn't exactly a villain at the end of WHAT IF. He had learned lessons from his mistakes and was integral to the success the Guardians of the multiverse. Why would he suddenly become a villain in Multiverse of Madness? As for Wanda, who says character arcs always have to go in the positive direction?

Im just not buying the "scarlet witch is villain vibe" everyone keeps forcing down our throats. It makes much more sense that OUR strange did something stupid and it got the ire of the multiverse, including strange supreme. And so people like Our strange and loki and wanda, who have made mistakes and need redemption, are given it through this movie. Wanda's arc already took a significant negative direction and its always teetered on negative to barely good. Like they made her blow up a building in civil war. She poisoned everyone's minds in ultron, she took over an entire city in wandavision. Shes done enough bad, for the time being. Its ok for her to be the HERO instead for once.

2020/21 was challenging in many ways for most of us. The last half of 2020 was a whirlwind of chaos for me personally. My dad was terminally ill with cancer, & my favorite sidekick Logan (almost 14 year old dog) was fighting another battle (also cancer). I cared for both, my dad stayed in my home and went from palliative care to home hospice care, which I had no idea what entailed and learned on the fly. Logan passed on December 15, 2020 & my dad passed 11 days later. I served 20+ years in the military and never faced such an exhausting situation as caring for them, but I wouldn’t change a thing (except that I would want them alive). It was a true privilege and honor. Grief is a MF and my perpetual companion now. That’s okay too, I completely understand that and am good-now. It took me a while to get myself through the stages and start feeling anything close to a semblance of normal life again. A part of getting through it was finding ways and places to laugh, or just find something joyful. Thank you for being a source of that for me. I appreciate you, all your videos of the past & in the future ❤️🤘🏼😊👍🏼

8:59 you missed a detail with the Marvel logo and the comics being shown within it. If you remember back in Dr. Strange issues 34-69 and issues 90-93 he fought a magical inter dimensional being that was summoned by an alternate version of himself. There are specific comic panels that can be seen from those issues if you slow down the clip enough. There's one from issue 34, 36, 37, 5 from issue 50, 52, 67, and 4 from 69 along with 5 panels from issue 93. These panels are very significant even more than the x-men ones and I find it very clever that marvel hid these in plain sight. Every single panel that was used was a picture of your mom. Marvel is so clever.

I know what strange meant when he said “I didn’t mean for this to happen”. When he cast the spell at the end of no way home, he made EVERYONE forget that Peter Parker was spider man. In every universe. This massive change destabilized the already shaky multiverse, and thus we have the plot of the movie.

It's definitely interesting to see all this stuff (I try to spot stuff like this in trailers but never really succeed). And I will probably be hyped for whatever we get from Wanda, especially if she uses her magic. I do want to leave it here though (because it scares me and I hope I'm not alone in this thought) that for me it seems wrong to do something like this to Wanda. I mean whether she goes crazy over her kids just because, or the Darkhold corrupts her it just wouldn't be nice to her arc overall. I do know, that it is comic accurate but I feel like it would send a bad message if she just tore the multiverse apart because of her children. If she is corrupted by the Darkhold fine, I guess although I would like to see Wanda stay on top of it. I love that precious girl and I hope she isn't the villain (even though my movie senses tell me along with all the leaks and fan theories that she is)

I do not know if you noticed this detail yet, but in WandaVision when agatha is reading through the dark hold she said "Her Powers exceed of the sorcerer supreme". At the moment in time Wong was the sorcerer supreme now revealed in No Way Home. Doss this mean Strange is more powerfull than wanda confirmed?

The sorcerer Supreme is a title and not a person. So whoever is the Sorcerer Supreme, the Scarlet witch will be always more powerful. Plus Darkhold was created / written hundreds of thousands of years ago, long before Wong.
