I don’t pity him at all there are a lot of villains that I pity for and I understand what they are doing but I don’t understand or agree with what walker is doing and I don’t pity him but he definitely is a great actor
@@nicks-wrestling7952 well john walker is hated for life but i also pity him The reasons are that he was built by the government meaning that he worshipped the government but when the government rejected john walker as captain america for what he did to niko is unbearable. Pretend being rejected by your own family. That is what john walker feels like when he got rejected and his own best friend died because of a super soldier. He is now lonley with no one to talk to
@@goldenboi9291 I definitely see your point but I don’t pity him because he took the super solider serum when he could’ve taken it back to the government and had them give it to them and make sure it is ok for him to take because I don’t know if that made is need to avenge Lamars death greater or not but I also think he could’ve stopped and not killed him like for example I just watched black panther yesterday and one of the opening scenes black panther chases a guy down for stealing vibraniam and he’s about to kill him but he stops because everyone was watching
Honestly, one of the best moments to me was Bucky meeting Zemo at the memorial. When Zemo leaves he calls him James, not Bucky, not the Winter Soldier, just James.
@Kangarooster I swear I go to a military school and my drill Sgt always tells me that the military is the last option they never will care about after you leave the military
Heartbreaking.. John’s character is a black mirror at the US for how we treat our veterans... a lot of introspection and deep writing in this series that people need to see..
I hate that this happened to him even if he was an asshole because like Val said. They only got rid of him to look good for the press. Not because they actually think he did the wrong thing.
Just remember, Zemo tried to kill himself. He was probably standing there hoping Bucky would pull the trigger. He wasn't originally intentionally a bad guy, he just got sick of the people on glass pedestals and thought it was time they shattered. I can understand that, I have a toxic workplace.
@@Ghost-iq1gh ikr? Sam is cool and all but when JW did it ppl hating, now sam did the exact same thing fanboy cream their pants. (or even worse imo, JW throwing motion and catching looks better)
I just can't get enough of the Sam/Bucky bromance and I don't want it to end. I can't remember the last time I watched something where the actors had as much chemistry as Mackie and Stan.
I like how Bucky easily opens up to Sam and not at his therapist. The writers conveyed Sam's therapeutic skills that was first showed in Captain America: The Winter Sold ier when he once led a support group.
I love how when John rips off Sam's wings, it feels... painful. As if he was ripping off wings that were physically attached to Sam instead of to his suit
His suite doesn’t have white on it, and white symbolizes balance, harmony and peace. No white means lack thereof. Red means bloodthirst, and courage. Blue means pride and good fortune. How lucky of a man is he? He may use it inappropriately, but it’s luck nonetheless.
A small detailing you might have missed That when Bucky says I am right handed and I always not think of left hand immediately It is not just for a joke We can observe from captain America the winter Soldier, civil war, and falcon and the winter Soldier that whenever he is winter Soldier (I mean when he was being controlled) he always uses left hand, but whenever he is Bucky ( I mean when he is himself and not being controlled by anyone) he uses right hand most of the times. I think it is a quite good detailing marvel had put into this character. You can also check this in few scenes from these movies and show
Bucky didn't like people beside Steve call him Bucky in the first episodes, but now he introduces himself as Bucky to Sarah, that means he's becoming more friendly.
@@aar6538 most of them atleast the ones in this episode were. In fact, he missed a few of them even after watching at 0.25x speed which just takes away the coolness and credibility of his gimmick.
the only person who steals a scene more than Wyatt Russel is Daniel Brühl. even when he’s in the background you can’t help but watch what zemo is up to
Sam's nephews playing with the shield might also mean that no matter how bad things happened to Isaiah, the shield might still be an uniting symbol for new generations.
It also recalls the end of Captain America: The First Avenger in which the kids are playing with a garbage can lid painted to resemble the shield as a makeshift toy.
I don't like though how what happened to Isaiah was no different really to what HYDRA did to Bucky and yet they refuse to acknowledge Bucky was a victim. Because he's white I guess.
honestly the amount of character development in this one episode was amazing and it really didnt come off as forced either. marvel hits it out of the park again
the part where bucky sleeps on sams couch reminds me of how anthony mackie says that he slept on sebastian stans couch, saying it was the best couch ever. Stan denies that Mackie ever even went into his house
14:15 Falcon and Winter Soldier fighting John Walker then they 3 fighting flag smashers then all of them fighting powerbroker ??? Really ? This will be the plot for last episode???
@@sureshmakwana8709 i feel like sharon is the power broker... she could be bitter helping steve in civil war and he aint even reach out to see if she good... she had to go underground and everyone got pardoned but her 😭....she has the shield training and could have gotten her hands on hydra info like zemo did.
Yesss. After Dave Chappelle and Kevin Hart I've been paying attention to the name drops and this made me giggle. Its pretty much how a lot of people feel about the character. That actor is doing an amazing job.
14:15 Falcon and Winter Soldier fighting John Walker then they 3 fighting flag smashers then all of them fighting powerbroker ??? Really ? This will be the plot for last episode???
The shield represents America and a Hero but u know Captain America was built to be a Ultimate Soldier so yaaaaa but u know i wish he take both i know that it might a powerfull with that both but having a exoskeleton wing and a shield might be to hard for him training might help well u know it is what it is
@@earljaydsaturos4125 yeah im probably wrong, i just thought they made him a new falcon suit for some reason, it could still be, but whats in the case is unknown
I think why Sam's talk to Bucky really went great is because Sam's previous job way back Winter Soldier was counseling in the veterans' affairs as he told Walker and Lemar back in episode 4
@@draconismaximus4102 why do you hate the character?? the government made him who he is. even if he is not a good human, that is not his fault. he was shaped the way he is by the government. i love him the same way one loves joker. it's not his fault. it's the society for the joker and government for john.
I guess, when an actor is so good that you actually hate the character and get angry every time you see them, the actor knows that they've done a good job. Coz if his acting was not so great, I guess we would not have hated jonh Walker so much. But it's really going overboard with the death threats
I mean Hulk still had one good arm, he definitely could have snapped for Tony, that snap was probably a lot less damaging than Hulk’s. If only Doctor Strange immediately portaled to earth and told him to do another snap as Sanctuary II popped out.
I imagine that if the VFX people were watching this, they'd say something like "of course we gotta pay attention to the smallest detail here. Some mad lads are gonna be watching the movie in 0.25x speed to catch all of our mistakes."
@@mhd_ela He does both the voice and motion capture of micah. Peter Blomquist did such a good job as micah. He was one of the best characters in the game with one of the best actors for micahs personality and how we expected him.
I think Sam's remark about "avenging" is a subtle affirmation to Bucky and the audience that he is an Avenger now, whether he realizes or not. Bucky, White Wolf, whatever he chooses to call himself, he is appreciated and welcomed regardless of his past. Even by common people in a dock town. This episode really shows that Sam is the friend and confidant that Bucky needs, and it's so wholesome and real.
14:15 Falcon and Winter Soldier fighting John Walker then they 3 fighting flag smashers then all of them fighting powerbroker ??? Really ? This will be the plot for last episode???
Wasn't he said he won't take the serum even if he has it? .. While when JW ask Lemar he not hesitantly said yes, and that's support JW decision to take it
I think Canadian Lad reminded us to keep our expectations low for the final episode because he wants to ensure that people don’t make the same mistakes as they did for WandaVision
The Isaiah Bradley scene, never felt woke or forced because, it was organic. That is why it works. There were seeds planted early that grew into this powerful scene.
@@raven-kn6lv Steve Roger’s Mother’s name was Sarah and they gave Sam’s sister that name. Are you a DC fan as well? Batman and Superman’ mothers were both named Martha and it ends up saving Superman in Batman v. Superman.
@@ChristinaVVM no I'm not much of a DC fan. I just watch their movies, but I don't follow up with the story. And thank you for explaining. I understand now
4:22 I think Valentina has a purple theme to show that she worked for both Hydra and S.H.I.E.L.D. The main color for Hydra is red while the main color for S.H.I.E.L.D. is blue. When you mix red and blue, you get purple. Edit: Spelling & Acronym correction
@@zengamer21 Maybe, but the only purple bad guys I can think of is Thanos, Ronan the Accuser with the power stone, Dormammu, Batroc the Leaper, Agatha Harkness, and Helmut Zemo - if you still count him as a villian when he puts on the mask. Only 6 villians within the 23 movies and 2 Disney Plus shows are purple - I'm not counting Agents of Shield and the Netflix shows.
@@Cosmic_Ray_ That's a pretty good list of baddies. I know you're not including Netflix but the villain of season 1 of Jessica Jones was Kilgrave, AKA Purple Man.
Did you noticed? In this episode Bucky didn't woke with any nightmare but woke up with a smile.. Seems Sam is a better therapist to Bucky in more than one way
Gosh, this mans is quite the lad for spending 4 hours of his day watching "Captain America and the Winter Soldier" at 0.25x speed. My personal nerd indeed.
I love how Bucky smiles when he heard Sarah's name because in Captain Amercia Civil War when Steve ask Bucky, "Which Bucky am I talking to?" Bucky replied, "Your Mom's name is Sarah" Then Bucky smiled. Fun little detail I thought of
@@the_faraaz They disliked it because they made half the series about race and it wasn't what always appeared in the MCU and was new to them (I was one of them). And in a lot of places the race thing is almost gone, atleast where I live. In conclusion, they just weren't ready to accept it and it felt like it was forced onto them
There are far better and far more nuanced ways of including discussion about racial politics. They basically said their intended message word for word rather than letting you draw upon that conclusion for yourself. It's the most in-your-face way of discussing these kinds of things and also the most obnoxious.
Wyatt Russel is doing such a great job as John walker! When he says “I AM CAPTAIN AMERICA” in the warehouse, you can see the insanity in his eyes! Just wow!
Did anyone notice the great acting/writing of the episode; when Sam & Bucky are playing around with the shield only sam had to compensates for the momentum of the shield coming back. Bucky just one handed it
Reminds me of spider-man 3/2 (forgot) when tobeys Peter told aunt may the truth which at first she was angry but later happy he told the truth and forgave him, can already see a version of that in tf&ws saying get out, next minute, he's thanking him for finding letting him know what happened (that he was under mind control and was/wanted/needed help).
@@nc840 well congrats he did his job what do you want? John Walker is not supposed to be likeable, he is supposed to be the polar opposite of our Main Character Sam. Yet we can still feel sympathy for John and thats all the actors doing, Playing a convincing hero is not as hard as playing a relatable and convincing villian
07:05 one thing I really appreciated about that scene is that we see the phone dialing a number, and the screen turn to black as he holds it to his head. Unlike many other films and shows that just go right to a black screen like the phone isn't even on. We actually see Sam/Anthony actually calling someone.
If you notice all the fights of Bucky ,You can see he didn't use his vibranium arm to fight any of his enemies only uses it to protect him until he fights with John Walker. He was sticking to his rule no.2 whole the time until he fights Walker.
@Zippy9000 Bucky and Steve were friends since they were kids. I think it was civil war were Bucky says Steve's mums name to show to him and Sam that hes not mind controlled at that moment. Bucky was close to Steve and his parents, tahts why he smiled when Steve's mums name was mentioned.
"They're walking away from each other in different direction, but they're finally on the same path." This is the most interesting line I've ever heard. Kudos to this man who own the channel 🙇♂️
@@j-zhirnmaker4861 Yeah, that super soldier serum really messed him up. That and his partner dying. The serum amplified those negative traits and it shows.
Wandavision second last episode - wanda being called the scarlet witch ( symbolising the fact she will become the SW ) Fatwas second last ep - falcon getting the the shield ( symbolising the fact he will become Captain America ) Wandavision last ep - wanda new SW costume Fatwas last ep - Sam new Cap costume
It's a great format for the second to last episode to end with a coming to terms with identity moment then the actual last episode be the moment you wear your identity. It's so satisfying. And I am glad it's happened for Wanda and happening for Sam. It gives them depth
I think the reason why Bucky was smiling when he saw the kids playing with the shield cause he be like there in that couch thinkin, "Im gonna be their dad in the next few days"
Facts. I think generally Marvel has a great handle on casting, whatever people think of their movies and shows, in 99% of cases people are cast perfectly imho
@@Phelie315 honestly the only casting I didn’t like was Brie Larson for Captain Marvel, genuinely every other casting choice seems super perfect! Glad I’m not the only one who appreciates their good work
The scene where Bucky woken up reminds me of the post credit scene from black panther when kids looking at him and ran outside after woken him up but this one he’s woken up by kids playing around with the shield
"You built me. I AM Captain America." That was a powerful moment. Walker stood there and told them to their faces that he is the Captain America that the government created, the one the government wanted. Not THE Captain America, but THEIR Captain America. Their monster.
9:38 You missed a beautiful detail of Bucky getting a transition in his life. Before he used to sleep on the floor, getting random nightmares and being lonely without having any friends as his therapist said in earlier episodes, but now after being with Sam's family, he sleeps in a couch and he wakes up peacefully, smiling to the kids.
I didn't know until after watching this video that the reason Bucky smiled when he saw Sam's nephews playing with shield was because he was relieved that his friend's legacy was secure and I almost cried happy tears because of his character development
@AlimioxZero if there is a miracle in the MCU, and Isaiah had one opportunity going out of the states unnoticed by the public, Isaiah had better living conditions and freedom in Wakanda, the same as Bucky had at the time his HYDRA programming was being removed from his mind Does that sentence makes any sense? I don't think it does
@AlimioxZero My issue with it is the politicization of it. The idea that it was only done because he's black is absolutely insane. Had Steve survived the war they would have done the same thing to him. The only reason Steve was spared that fate is because he was on ice until modern times. Making the story such that the government ONLY did it because "hurr durr filthy black man" is sheer insanity and the epitome of wokeism and spits in the face of real life history where blacks were routinely awarded the highest honors even in world war 2, let alone the korean war. Sure you could make an argument that they wouldn't propagandize him like they did with Steve, but that's the furthest you could go without dipping into delusional "murica hates black people" wokeism.
@@War450 i paused the show and turned it off for a day after he said that. Had a hard time coming back. Cant beleive they are bringing racial divide into comic book material. I watch this to escape the political material i hear on a daily basis and then they throw this BS in the show. Smh 🤦♂️
in iron man 2, in the senate scene, hammer accuses iron man of “wielding a sword but calling it a shield.” or something along those lines. this is exactly what john walker was accused of, using what’s supposed to be a symbol of defense for murder. interesting how they drew that parallel
Ok, everything is great, but can we take out a minute to appreciate Wyatt Russell's ACTING? The emotions he displayed while fighting Bucky and Sam for the shield, oh my god. "WHY ARE YOU MAKING ME DO THIS?" I felt the pain in that line for Walker. Phenomenal job by every actor, especially Russell.
