Just the knowledge that when that massive crack forms at 0:38 is the first time that Gildedguy has had contact with fresh air in four months is god damn surreal.
I understand the enjoyment of seeing the “pilots” or “drivers” of giant hulking behemoths fighting each other while the behemoths themselves are fighting to, it’s cool
Nah he built it really quick he used the gold he picked up from the dragon's breath in the beginning of the mech fight, and put it in his mech, then later turned that gold into a hallway using his dad's powers
@@coolman9020 Actually, he might not have his dad's powers, the guy we saw him fight in story zero might not even be his real dad(most likely is Gildedguy's dad though) and if it was his dad, then even though there's a big chance he has his powers, he either might've not found out/unlocked that power yet or just have a completely different power that removes controlling gold. I mean like Gildedguy and his (most likely) father were basically complete opposites, Gildedguy liked to draw and his father just hires and pays the workers. We can see it work during the credits of Story 0.
@@Gray_Knight_User I mean yeah that definitely is entirely possible, he could've just learned how to use it during the 4 month timeskip but I'm thinking it most likely is his dad's powers because he turns golden coins into structures near instantaneously, but he doesn't have the mastery that his dad does to conjure gold coins out of nothing, so it's still unclear. We'll probably find out more about it in the next story
0:06 Something I don't see people comment on and I didn't even notice the first time was that you can very briefly see Mar do his imfamous peering out with one eye through his sword pose. It looks so badass. The frame-by-frame of this animation is art!
The thing I love about all of GildedGuy’s stories is that they always gain the upper hand without out-of-nowhere bullshit (except maybe the fight against Bog, but that’s a whole other discussion).
@@iamanunus9141 Bog to me is an allagory for intrusive thoughts. And the reason Gilded isn't affected by him outside of his physical injuries, is because he actually takes care of himself mentally
@@Hide-- alfa is the second rock hard gladiator like andre. Uses a sword, lime colored, and unfortunately got killed by umbrella 7 years ago Edit: oh yeah he has different names. Its fllffl and fl Edit again: you have actually seen alfa in the previous episode of gildedguy. He was the stickman flying with his sword and also one of the stickmen in andres flashback. Yknow, the last scene, where hes looking back while multiple wing fragments of umbrella was flying towards him.
I think it's many people's favourite part conssidering how much it's replayed. Love his little warm up hops at the start, pumping himself up for the next fight XD
this bouta be the combat in my game the best thing about being an animator n stuff and game dev you can make the game so you can fight like that and all that its the best
We are seeing similarity those two have remember episode 0 how the giltdedguy a worker constantly doing the same senior over and over feel like there is no other way to live that's exactly a dragon girl go through he decided to break free that reality
@@hybridvenom9 okay is your first time seeing this go and watch every episode show you the difference between a girls and boys in the universe gildedguy
I think the reveal here is supposed to be important to show that GG has his own emptiness, but in-universe, it probably formed when he got burned in the first scene. That’s when the hole imagery first appears
Yeah, I guess this isn't any better than those "Epic GildedGuy Vs..." Shorts. However, it's nice to see people talk about individual scenes in the comments.
Gildedguy beating mar up while hes attached to his dragon granting him extra mobility is pretty crazy especially when you take into consideration hes keeping up easily with golden armor on which is probably crazy heavy
His armor isn't actually gold, but armor covered in gold. Which makes sense, considering he's GildedGuy (Gilded means "covered in gold") Still, it is impressive, and it's nice to see the armor actually provide protection to its user (unlike most media nowadays)
