I Watched *HOODWINKED* And LOVED It! Movie Reaction And Commentary! 

Okay, I could be wrong, but I thought Red walking out after finding out about Granny's lies was her starting to wonder if Granny DID steal the recipes. Like a, "If she's lying about this, what ELSE is she lying about?" type thing.

The movie was made by an indie animation company STILL LEARNING HOW TO ANIMATE as they were making it. The hardest bit was the storybook.

I remember that the bunny plot line was the very first time I saw that sort of twist as a kid, so it was super effective. Now it feels like every current movie has stolen the same twist formula and completely nullified how effective it was

a little fun fact about the animation, a lot of the animators in the studio of this movie, they didn't have the greatest experience with animation since the studio had just started at that point (not sure). So its actually impressive they made something work with little experience, and the changes in quality between this one and the second hoodwinked is pretty noticable

Honestly, a heavily underrated film. One of my go-tos for a chill night.

I think the animation style actually add to the story, it's all rough and choppy but delivers an amazing story that's about subverting expectations

This was definitely one of my favorite movies growing up. Younger me thought both granny AND red was so badass...I still do lmao.

It's honestly the animation that knocks this one down at all. Most of it is pretty good.

I saw this in theaters with my friends when I was 14. We all completely lost it the schnitzel scene 😂. I still say holy schnitzel to this day 😅

I loved this movie as a child cause it's definitely sentimental to a T.If you look closely, you can see Red probably didn't have any parental figures in her life, which is why she lived with Granny all this time and maybe took the job of deliverer to make up for that loss.💔🥺💧 Also, I love how they built up her and Wolf's relationship, from enemies to mutual acquaintances, and by the end, dear friends who will always have each other's back even if they fight; they never stay away for long.✊️😊✨️

This movie and Over the Hedge were my childhood I watched them so much I forgot how far animation has come then I rewatch something like Hoodwinked lol Also the dynamite scene was my favorite as a kid for some reason 😂

I love Hoodwinked. I used to watch it all the time. It's absolutely hilarious and so underrated!

Hoodwinked is the prime example of u don't need bomb animation to make a good and memorable movie

Also, did you notice that Red didn't mention beating the snot out of the wolf, but HE did?

One of the reasons why the animation isn't the greatest is because the film was made by an independent studio who funded the project themselves. And most, if not, all the creators have never worked in animation before. But there was a silver lining, it made its money back at the box office. The animation got better in the sequel, but did fail in the plot department.

It's great that a reactor genuinely likes this movie.

This movie can be enjoyed in multiple different ways. The writing is surprisingly good for what you’d expect from the animation, and if you cant get past the animation quality you can just have fun pointing out how bad it is 😂

Favorite moment of ‘Hoodwinked’? …the part where Red and Wolf exchange glares as Wolf goes up to tell his side of the story comes to mind. And any or all of the crossover moments where a previous event is referenced from a new POV.

Hi my name is Zofia and I wanted to tell you that I really like your channel and I've been watching you for a long time and I wanted to tell you that this movie is known in my country, i.e. in Poland under the title Czerwony Kapturek historia prawdziwa(Red Riding Hood true story) and watching the original version, i.e. English and and mine, which is Polish, I honestly say that both of these versions are on the same comedy and feature level.

This movie in my opinion definitely was so good that it didn't need to get destroyed by its sequel. But we don't talk about that one 😂

Completely forgot about this movie. From I actually I remember being scared of the animation. Also didn’t even know that Anne Hathaway was red or I did and just didn’t realize or remember. Red in this movie reminds me of the animation in the gnome Romeo and Juliet movie. (If I remember that’s the gnome movie I’m thinking about.) Also this movie is chaotic and I love that. 😂 Love the videos! You do an amazing job!

Honestly, even with this animation, I love the effort, this is still one of my favorite movies! Critters have feelings and all the goat songs still in my head till this day.

Thinking about other newer movies with twist villain plots... Most of them just don't hold up on rewatch like Hoodwinked does. Think about it! For those who don't know the villain, it's a fun surprise at the end. For those who do, they get to be rewarded by picking out the funny hidden clues that just make the movie all the more enjoyable. Most movies that try to use this trope nowadays work so hard to make the villain twist unexpected that they fail to make it fun or interesting for viewers on rewatch.

I always loved watching this film when I was little, it felt very satisfying.
