I Watched THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS Dressed Up As Jack Skellington (Movie Reaction) 

What I love about this movie is that it's both a Halloween and a bit of a Christmas film. You can watch this film on both holidays.

Regarding the debate that fans question is _Nightmare Before Christmas_ a Halloween movie, a Christmas movie, or both? For me personally, I considered this as both a Halloween/Christmas movie surprisingly enough. Yes, the majority including Tim Burton, Danny Elfman and Henry Selick agreed that it's a Halloween movie and they're not wrong with that, cause I see a lot of Halloween Merchandise for this film especially during the Halloween season, plus the songs and Jack wanting to create his own "Christmas" felt very Anti-Christmas and the movie premiered in October of 1993. But surprisingly, I also see Christmas Merchandise for this movie (e.g. Ornaments, Inflatables) during the Christmas season along with the fact Freeform play this movie during the Halloween and Christmas season respectively. 🎃🎄

Love the cosplay and costume of Jack Skellington, Rukiya and happy 30th Anniversary for _Nightmare Before Christmas._ Even though _James and the Giant Peach_ was the first Stop-Motion prior to watching _Nightmare Before Christmas_ this film was without a doubt an absolute classic and Masterpiece in Stop-Motion and in pop-culture from the voice acting, the animation and the music of Danny Elfman (who also does the singing voice of Jack Skellington and the voice of Barrel). Now while yes, Tim Burton's name is in the title of the film as he did created the characters and the original poem this film was based on, along with producing the film, the film is actually directed by Henry Selick (who deserves more Credit besides Tim Burton) who would later direct _James and the Giant Peach, Coraline_ and _Wendell & Wild._ Even I didn't realize that Jack Skellington was in _James and the Giant Peach_ as the Pirate Captain when I watched the film again for the second time, after watching Nightmare Before Christmas the first time and when I was a Kid up until 2002/2003 I didn't know _Nightmare Before Christmas_ was a Disney movie cause it came out through Touchstone Pictures (which at the time I didn't know Touchstone was a subsidiary/mature content label of Disney) and surprisingly when I saw Jack Skellington in a commercial for _Kingdom Hearts_ I said _"WAIT! Nightmare Before Christmas is Disney?!?"_ Speaking of _Kingdom Hearts,_ it's worth noting that Halloween Town is one of the few Disney worlds in which it's story in both _Kingdom Hearts_ and _Kingdom Hearts II_ isn't a retelling of the movie and following an original plot similar to the Pixar Worlds (based on Toy Story and Monster's Inc.) and San Fransokyo (Big Hero 6) in _Kingdom Hearts III_ along with the Beauty and the Beast and Tron Worlds in _Kingdom Hearts II._

The fact that this movie was stop-motion using clay makes this movie amazing for its time period and the current one!

You put a lot of the cast members at Disneyland to shame with that cosplay! If you hadn't reacted to Wendell and Wild, and Corpse Bride already, it would have been amazing to see you dress up as Kat or Emily.

I think it's both a Christmas and a Halloween movie. However, if I had to pick, I'd place it as a Christmas movie. Its aesthetic is largely Halloween, but its heart is Christmas, and that's what really counts.

I saw the thumbnail and had no clue why RU-vid was recommending me this video on my feed until I saw the name. I couldn’t believe it was Rukiya 😂 I like NBC and it’s great, but I feel like people over hype it as Tim Burton has so much better work.
