@@alexpena4091 there are 13 original primes in most continuities, they are essentially angels or gods to cybertronians/transformers, Megatronus Prime gets corrupted by Unicron and follows his will, He kills other primes and then gets exiled or imprisoned in other stories, therefore given the name “The Fallen” kinda biblically like a fallen angel, most famously known as Lucifer, theyre just beings who seek power, they want to become the One Above All, although if you look through lore videos Megatronus story has a lot more depth than it might seem, im just giving a short recollection of it, so you dont have to look much of it up, unless you’re really intrigued lol
Lmao i actually had so much fun watching this movie for the first time after the first. My favourite thing about it is how much impact the events in the movie felt. like how the final battle is bigger than the first movieand how even though it was another "if we fail the world ends" plot, this time the whole sun was going to be taken out and all. My least favourite thing about this movie though is how much they sidelined the Transformers (like the Arcee twins [Arcee, Chromia and Elita One] Jolt, Ratchet and most Decepticons are pretty much wasted).

@@JacobKaszaIn my opinion, I think the 1st movie has the advantage of giving exposition, and being the beginning and introduction to the world of Transformers, it makes the sequel have a tough job of keeping up in comparison.

I remember going to the theater to see this in 2009. I was so devastated when Optimus Prime was killed by Megatron in this. But I love the revenge shot in the scene where Optimus goes two-on-one against Megatron and The Fallen. For me, nothing was more karmic than seeing Optimus make Megatron shoot himself in the face with his own cannon.
Optimus's death in the 1986 film was much more heartbreaking. They killed him off because his toys weren’t selling enough. Because of this decision, it left so many children, heartbroken and depressed that their favorite transformer was gone for good. Hasbro received so many angry phone calls from parents demanding they bring Optimus back.
If you think Optimus got buff thanks to Jetfire, you wrong, the parts only help Optimus regain energy to fight. You can tell by looking at Optimus, he struggling to stand up after he got revived (he crawling). The Matrix can revive Optimus but since Optimus's core have been destroyed so it only wake him up, a lot of energy have been leaked out from Optimus from many place on his body so he struggle to move
4:10 Well idk why they're called the arcee twins when they're three of them, and I have no idea if it's cannon that they're sisters, but the pinkish red one is Arcee the blue one is Chromia and the magenta-purplish is Elita-1
I gotta hard disagree that this movie is better than the first one, it wastes so much time and characters, like the arcee twins do nothing than die, the fallen does nothing then die, Megatron is a weak loser, jolt has literally 30 seconds of screentime (I’m bet most people didn’t even know he was an autobot character in this film), and the final battle is very underwhelming and confusing. That being said I really like Sam in this film and how mature he is compared to the original movie, it’s also cool to see Optimus getting the spotlight and the forest battle is great. I understand why people like this movie but I generally think the 2007 film holds up much better under scrutiny and multiple rewatches, and its Autobot/decepticon cast is much stronger. Still an enjoyable movie and good video, looking forward to your Dark Of The Moon reaction!
Yea I know it’s probably gonna be an unpopular opinion but I’m more of an enjoyability > Good Writing type of person and this movie was too funny and had characters I like compared to the first one
Fun fact: Michael Bay just hated Arcee and the Female bots in general so he wasted them 💀 my biggest issue with the movie probably as a whole. Like how they handled most of the Transformers except of Optimus and Bumblebee.
