It's sad the franchise didn't stay here in Vancouver. Idk what the basketball scene was like back then since I was a baby, but I can tell you now it's got tons of basketball fans. There are tons of people that fill up the rec centres with basketball, not to mention how often I see folks play ball outside as well. Bring back basketball to Vancouver!!

As a fan from Vancouver I will tell you that the basketball scene is getting bigger and bigger every year There some ballers out here man don’t sleep

Vancouvers got a population that boomed, theyve got a growing basketball fan base, they have an increasing amount of affluent residents, especially in the downtown core where a ton of people live and theyd have the entire West coast of Canada as a fan base. It was simply a franchise that needed to wait for the fans to come around. They didnt even give it 10 years. Pair that with the terrible chance the NBA gave it through the draft (never being able to pick 1st) and the terrible management and constant losing seasons that wouldnt attract fans and it ended up in Canada losing a team. Its sad because now with Vegas and seattle Vancouver and a franchise that failed already, they probably wont get another shot despite the massive potential. Just sucks, I personally think they were robbed.

I hope canada gets a second team. The game has grown so much here

Wish there's more NBA Franchises north of the border. Both Vancouver and Montreal are realistic options when it comes to the size of the market. For MTL, the taxes are very high in the province, maybe some barriers with the Language, etc. But aside from that, the fanbase in that city are really passionate. Like what happen to the Habs, the NHL Team, and when they play preseason matches at the Bell Centre, I feel like they were more louder and passionate than the crowd at the Scotiabank Arena. Edit: I'm aware that both teams are not attractive markets, just like the Raptors.

Sometimes you can get a player to take a shorter contract when they are not taking your max and going to another team. Try like a 2+1 with a player option or even a 1+1 player option. Sometimes they will take those short deals.

Myleague idea so the FIFA’s career mode has this feature where when a player retired they get a re-gen which is basically a player 16-20 years old and their potential is whatever the players rating was when you started the career mode.( ex: Messi is a 91 ovr so when he retires you look for a Argentina player that played the same position as Messi and they have the chance to be the same ovr or even better than what Messi was at when you started the career) anyways the idea is that whenever a player gets into the hall of fame let them come back but as a random player and start the player out w whatever 2k gave the hall of famer as a rookie and see how their career plays out, it can be from the created draft class or auto generated but make sure you pick a guy that went to the same college at least. Kenny if you do a 2k wishlist one thing you should bring up for my league is add another era there is way too much time between the Kobe era and the current day my idea would be a lebron era maybe start it with Currys draft or Anthony Davis draft because of them really being generational talents like they did with starting in 1991 to give the player a chance to tank for shaq. starting it in 2012ish would also give players the ability build a team to stop that Miami Big 3 .
