I grew up in Arnold and used to go to the races on Saturday night's as a kid back when Don Klein was the king around there. Others like Eddie Dixon Mike Hammerle Kevin Gundaker Happy Pappy Haze Bo Smith Dennis Richardson. I actually went to Fox high School graduated 95. now I just so happened to live a few miles from the track but I haven't been there in years cuz I've been working on Saturday nights for a long time. so at 45 years old I still have a dream one day to race cars around that track. having zero racing experience other than being a huge fan of all forms of Motorsport and a dream since I was a kid. if I ever win the lottery.......... anyway thanks for all the content you share and all the great things you do for Motorsports. ☮️❤️🎵🌍🤗🏁

I'd feel they'd have to do the Moody Mile or the Super DIRT Week on Actual DIRT again, because that Dirt on Oswego ruins a Perfectly Good Pavement up there.

Hey Herman. Love your videos! My brother and I would love to watch you race somewhere this year. Our home track would be either Knoxville or Oskaloosa. We are hoping that you'll be close. Like within 2 or 3 hrs of Des Moines.

Kenny Wallace is a very fun guy he’s got personality!! And you gotta love dirt racing you can actually start from nothing and make it as a dirt racer vs nascar you better have some serious shekels if you wanna play with the big boys, nascar is just not practical for the common man who wants to race coming up from nothing

Modified's are the best races out there!!! I'd rather watch a modified race in Cedarville Arkansas, than any Nascar race on the schedule.

Im sure you know the old i70 speedway has come back from the dead and is dirt i would love to see you there or maby talk about it becouse dirt tracks around here are dying and its still wicked fast a lil smaller but still scary fast i think we need you to help out if you can

And men like Roger Penske 87 yrs old and Indy a lot of responsibility and headaches. And if ya need to rent a moving van, truck think about Penske. U haul has never took anyone to a racetrack. I hate the first 3 races on a new modified. Finding the quirky things the new chassis likes. Making sure you're not binding bars and nothing is coming lose.

Well, first time out for the new car, gonna need some tweakin'. You didn't seem to be getting off the corners too great.... More grip or more motor? It looks like this was filmed from the back straight, i think, and i gotta say, you couldn't run any lower through one and two. You kept that left front no more than an inch or two off that wall. Talk about consistency!! Go get em' next time Herm!! :)

Why did you drive so tight to the inner corners? Was it to save the new car or because further out the track was so bumpy? By the way, 86 was a great year for me to in life and I like your design on the new car 👍! 😁

As I’m watching these heat races I kept thinking to myself why is Kenny staying on the bottom? Well it seems to me the condition of the track was very rough and maybe the chassis set up was a little bit too soft to ride the outside groove cushion? Just my observation.

Did this track start life with the name route 66 speedway back in the 90 season I was a security guard there, it had just opened in 1989/90 I think ,hanks BigAl California. Praise Jesus grace Christ amen.

The faster cars were running higher up the track. Hugging the bottom just wasn't doing it.

Car looks like it handles well hanging around the infield wall now get up there balls all out by that outside wall and show them how a retired Nascar driver wins.

Herman!!!. Do you have a spare fire suit? I'm busting my butt trying to get my csr together, thougjt I had everything accept tires and firesuit.. now I hear I have to have a spotter... I have never used a spotter in my life. My dad and Clyde HART always told me when I raced , " if you need a spotter on a short track you shouldn't be driving a STOCKCAR... so now I have to find a set of rsdios, a fire suit and spend what ever a set HOOSIER F70 cost. And buy a fire suit. I got lucky and got a brand new ZAMP HEAD and NECK RETRAINT FOR $85. from SPERDWAY MOTORS. I just want to race before the srason is done vso I can get to know the car before the WINTER of season. MONEY RACES AT NEW SMYRNA and 5 FLAGS.

Those first 2 cars in the heat sound like they have a different motor? I thought it was all crate motors in this series?
