Thanks for trying more Stray Kids! I saw another comment with great info but wanted to respond to your questions in each video so here goes: Venom: You said “Oh, I love this” when Seungmin came in with his vocals. You mentioned the rap by Han (he tends to do fast clever raps while Chanbin does more aggressive raps). You said Bang Chan’s vocals had you “Ascending to heaven.” Case 143: At start “His rapping” was Han again. “Who is delivering these vocals” was Bang Chan. “A new member (vocals) was I.N. Maniac: “Who is eating the vocals (red haired) was Hyunjin. High ad libs at end were Bang Chan. I appreciate your honesty, for me my favorite of these is Venom. Isn’t it nice we all have different tastes? What a boring world if we didn’t. In your Oddinary album I think you’d like Lonely Street (vocals are beautiful), and Charmer (it grew on me). Others I feel you’d appreciate are: Cover Me (great vocals), Red Lights (has a mv), Taste (beautiful and by the three “dancers” proving they all can sing. Have fun, I subscribed to follow your Stray Kids journey if you keep going. We Stays (fans) will watch any video you put out, even if you watch the lyric videos or dance relays (fun) or really any content.
@@DiceyBrycieif you do end up listening to both Cover Me and Red Lights, fun facts: both songs’ lyrics were written solely by Hyunjin and Bang Chan, and both were composed by Hyunjin and Bang Chan (Cover Me was also composed by Nicko Young, who isn’t a member). Cover Me is all 8 members while Red Lights is just Hyunjin & Bang Chan, who star in the MV together
i love how you are so honest about things because exactlyyyy not everything would be your style but a lot of reactors kinda fake liking it lmao ..every stay knows that not all skz songs are for everyone yk. love your reactions!
You know.. That made me think.. At first I was like SKZ-Replay is the only album I consistently skip songs on, then I realized I skip most of Yellow Wood, at least half of Levanter (I guess not a good era for my taste...) And it depends on my mood, but I am YOU and I am WHO both have a few skips from time to time. (And Winter Evel depending on time of year, but that's not fair.)
Being a fan of something doesn't mean loving everything about it. I've been a fan of a rock band for over 30 years and don't like every song they've written because that's not possible. I've loved Stray Kids since 2019 but there are many songs of theirs I don't like, in-fact there are a couple of their albums I don't like any songs on, which is unusual for me. We can't help what we like or dislike.
same !! when he was reacting to venom I was scared that he was faking liking it then he said that he wasn’t really into the chorus so I was relieved to have his real opinion !
Members of Case 143: 5:29 Han 5:40 Changbin (they show felix and changbin but changbin is the one rapping) 5:46 Hyunjin 5:49 Bang Chan 6:11 Seungmin 6:16 IN 6:21 Felix 6:53 Lee Know thats all the members :)
Genius choice choosing Venom and Case 143 as your introduction to SKZ but if you're actually into softer music, I suggest you listen to Red Lights, collision, Cover me, Leave, Charmer, Youtiful, FNF..... They're on the soft SKZ discography
Yes, excellent recommendations! Also highly recommend Chill (the video is so good) and Connected by Bang Chan (only a lyric video but the vocals are unreal) Love watching people fall in love with SKZ! 🫶🏼🤍
I am glad you are giving Stray Kids a chance. If they are “noise music”, they are the masters of it. Their music is layered with so many textures and sounds. They also play with every single genre out there, so enjoy the journey!
The one doing the falsetto at the end of Maniac is the leader, Bang Chan (A.K.A. Chris). He and Seungmin have an unearthly timbre to their vocals in my opinion. I love it when they sing.
If you want to hear more of their vocals, I highly recommend these softer, vocal heavy songs (my personal favorites): - Levanter - Neverending Story - Ex - Leave - Cover Me - Gone Away (Han, Seungmin and I.N) - Waiting For Us (Bang Chan, Seungmin, I.N and Lee Know) - There (Japanese song) - Your Eyes (Japanese song) - Another Day - Hero's Soup - i hate to admit it (Bang Chan) - miss you (Hyunjin) / long for you (Hyunjin) - Here Always (Seungmin) / Close to You (Seungmin) - Grow Up - Secret Secret
If you want to know the stray kids vocals: Bang chan - eternity Han - volcano Changbin - street light Lee know - Lee Mujin service or limbo Felix - deep end Hyunjin - long for you or red lights In - hug me Seungmin - high and dry or phobia
Yeah the people saying they're only noise were just being ignorant tbh 😭🙏 They heard 2 snippets of a song and made up their judgement. Obviously theres gonna be songs you will not like, but with skz it's quite hard to like NOTHING But rlly no ones doing u it like skz, they're a self-produced group (they've quite literally written their whole discography) with a variety of music. If you want to dig deeper into some bsides of different styles I recommended: I like it Secret Secret Hall of fame Cover me Give me your tmi Also they just released a new song today which is an ost for deadpool. If you noticed ryan reynolds and hugh jackman were in the chkchkboom mv. Skz and ryan have a history together The song is slash!
I loved your reaction!!! They all have beautiful vocals but i think you kept noticing Bang Chan (the leader)- blue hair in maniac. You also commented on I. N and Seungmin and Lee Know 😂 They have many vocal heavy songs. One of my favorites is Cover Me from their Rockstar album.
If you want to hear their heavenly vocals, watch their live performance of their song Neverending Story. It was created as an OST for a K drama. But don't watch the OST video. Their live stage performance is the one to watch. I almost cry everything I watch and hear it.
Also if no one mentioned this before Stray Kids write & compose their music themselves with a lil help from producers, occasionally writers they trust. They created their own music genre in kpop called the "mala taste". Mala taste originates from the word malatang, which is used to describe a popular Chinese spicy, numbing hot soup. In contrast to Stray Kids’ sound, idol music is typically described as sweet or sour which ties into the typical cute or powerful concepts commonly seen from idol groups. Musically, mala taste now refers to a unique sound created through genre blending that is addictive to the listener - hence, hot and popular. Thanks for listening to their music.
I’m loving your reactions. You seem to like Bang Chan’s vocal (he’s incredible) so you’ll probably like Red Lights, and since you really like Case 143 I think you’ll really like Back Door. If you want cool visuals, choreography and transitions then watch Thunderous (it’s still my favorite video of all time, even outside of kpop). Rap wise you seem to like Han (I’d recommend Megaverse as a standout) and Changbin (his intro for Miroh is off the rails fast). Stray Kids are incredibly talented.
YES im so glad you gave them a chance!! I def recommend reacting to their song fam, its a fun song of them just singing about each other but it definitely helps in getting to know the members 🙏🏼 other songs i recommend are levanter, leave (live performance best imo), Chronosaurus, 19, Secret Secret, and cover me🫶🏼
These are the members in age order: Bangchan (the leader, also who did that high note towards the end) Lee know (dance leader, amazing dancer, very underrated, also does amazing vocals) Changbin (that rapper that raps in ur face lol, he’s amazing and there’s so much to him) Hyunjin (main dancer, red hair in maniac, amazing visuals and does rap) Han (that other rapper that you said needs to get out 😭, he is also the ace of the group) Felix (you know him, main dancer, deep voice, very pretty) Seungmin (main vocals, beautiful range and voice) I.N- Jeongin (youngest, lead vocals, and unique voice that’s very recognizable) All SKZ members are very talented and can master in everything. Rapping, singing, dancing, all of them can do it. They have such a big discography that can pull anyone in. They also produce 99.9 % of their music with Bangchan,Han, and Changbin as their producing unit (3racha) There is a lot of guides you can watch, there is a short one for 2024. It will help you understand their roles and personalities more easily. EDIT: thank you everyone who corrected my comment, I did make some mistakes. Ik SKZ doesn’t have certain positions, but I did put what they mainly do in the band, I can’t say that I.N raps when he barely does, he can, but he doesn’t do it in all their songs like Changbin, Han and hyunjin. I hope you understand lol 🙂↕️🙏
TASTE , RED LIGHTS , COVER ME , DEEP END , COLLISION , TWILIGHT , I LIKE IT , I HATE TO ADMIT IT those songs are insanely good and you will love them according to your taste. and btw the ppl who are usually in charge of the vocals are basically all the members particularly seugmin, I.N , lee know , han and bangchan. And the cherry on top, they produce and compose all their songs hence why they are called "self made group"
Oooh Back Door is so much fun. God's Menu is 🤯. Thunderous. Listen to the Oddinary album!! Maniac & Venom are from that album. There is a beautifu ballad on there as well. The whole album is 🤌😘
There is a ballad on Oddinary called Waiting for Us ... its a "vocal unit" song (but literally they can all sing, these are just the guys who tend to sing more often than they rap and vice-versa for the "rap unit" except Han who is an Ace of Aces and can do both extremely well) thank you for giving Stray Kids a shot, i loved your reactions!
if you want to hear some beautiful vocals from them i would recommend : Taste, Gone away, Ex, Winter falls... Thanks for reacting to them :) subscribed!
I highly recommend Red lights, Taste, Wow by danceracha, Blueprint, Levanter, Mixtape: OH, The view, Lonely St. I like it, Collision. Omg there's a lot to mention! thanks for the react.
That end build-up background vocal is Channie! He's sooo talented. Writes majority of their songs, can dance, rap, and sing. He's also the leader of the group who hand picked all his members.
-Cracks knuckles- I am here to do my duty as a STAY. I am gonna list each member, oldest to youngest, as they first sing/rap in each video, as well as some surface information about them and I hope this is the beginning of your journey into the group. I am going to assign each member as a singer or rapper for simplicities sake, based on which one they are USUALLY, but be aware that they all have the ability to do both, to a significant extent, which was super funny to watch during your video btw, cause almost every time you pointed someone out for their singing or rapping, it was a different member. 10/10 Time stamps are for when they appeared in THIS video, not the MVs. Bang Chan 2:18 in Venom | 5:49 in Case 143 | 10:29 in Maniac -Birth name Christopher Bang -Born in Korea, but lived in Australia when he was younger, and has an Aussie accent. Speaks English. -Leader of the Group -Oldest Member -Member of 3Racha: Which is a trio of members including Han & Changbin, responsible for producing their music. -Singer Lee Know 2:11 in Venom | 8:19 in Case 143 (technically appeared at 6:55, but couldn't see him well) | 10:44 in Maniac -Birth name Lee Minho -A lot of people see him at surface level as mean and cold, but is actually a sweetheart who loves his members. -Big cat dad. -A stern dance teacher. -Singer Changbin 1:30 in Venom | 7:13 in Case 143 | 11:01 in Maniac -Birth name Seo Changbin -Simultaneously dark & cool, but also adorable. -Doesn't take crap from no one. -A member of 3Racha -Rapper Hyunjin 2:43 in Venom | 7:40 + chorus after that in Case 143 (technically showed up at 6:16 right before I.N, but was too brief) | 10:37 in Maniac -Birth name Hwang Hyunjin -Considered the drama llama of the group. Very high energy, & entertaining to watch. -Powerful dancing, usually stands out. -Honorary Aussie. -Learning English, and has gotten VERY far in it. Probably mid-intermediate if I had to take a guess, at minimum. (Possibly further along) -Rapper Han 2:57 in Venom | 5:29 in Case 143 | 10:50 in Maniac -Birth name Han Jisung -One of two sunshines of the group. -Near-fluent in English -Final member of 3Racha -Is an ACE in the group, also know for his not insignificant singing ability. -Rapper Felix 3:47 in Venom | 6:21 in Case 143 | 11:11 in Maniac -Birth name Felix Lee -Another Aussie, but unlike Chan, he was born there. As such, he speaks English. -The other sunshine of the group. -He can cook and bake, just not when he does it with Seungmin. Has made brownies for members and staff before. -Though known for his deep voice, he can also makes his voice go pretty high. -Rapper Seungmin 1:58 in Venom | 6:11 in Case 143 | 10:47 in Maniac -Birth name Kim Seungmin -Near fluent in English. Lived in LA for 3 months when he was younger. -Can also cook, just not when he cooks with Felix. -A savage member. -Likes photography, & will take lots of pretty pictures of places he goes, and his members. -Singer I.N. 2:22 in Venom | 7:31 in Case 143 (technically showed up at 6:16, but couldn't see him well) | 10:40 in Maniac -Birth name Yang Jeongin -Can sing Trot, a style of Korean music that involves special vibrato & voice breaking techniques. (Hard to explain, it sounds cool, & you can find it in slower ballad type songs, & more upbeat fast paced songs) -Clumsy -Another savage member. -Sharp cool facial features, but an adorable smile. -Singer I didn't need to do all this, but I wanted to. Once again, thank you for your reaction to Stray Kids, and I hope we can call you a baby STAY in the future.
@@HJasmin Listen, until they learn how to cook together correctly, without burning, over/under sweetening, or spilling everything, then it is only safe for the world to know they are in danger, when those two cook.
Re: Felix and "Though known for his deep voice, he can also makes his voice go pretty high." - You have to listen to Deep End by Felix to really experience this. The first time I heard Deep End I seriously thought there were three different singers in it. Re: Han and "-Is an ACE in the group, also know for his not insignificant singing ability." There are so many songs that can demonstrate this but I think his vocals are amazing in 'I'll be your man' from Kingdom (that one tends to get copyright claimed a lot though).
I would recommend Butterflies, Cover Me, twilight, and Secret Secret. They’re less ‘noisy’ and more vocal heavy I would say. All beautiful songs. So glad you’re liking them so far!
A guide is a musttttt. Bang Chan> Leader/producer, high vocals, occasionally raps and started that way. ("Who is that NOTE" in Maniac) Lee Know> Main choreographer (with other members and hired ones), vocals, rarely raps but will here and there Changbin> Producer, the deeper toned raps that are more "aggressive", rare but amazing vocals Hyunjin> Dance/choreo assist (AND CRAZY TALENTED, the one usually center in dance breaks bc he GOES IN), "lazy style" rap and vocal equally Han/Jisung> Producer, higher toned raps but also amazing vocals equally, known as "The 4th Gen ace" because he truly fits into every part seamlessly Felix> We know him we love him clearly. Choreo assist, secondmost center member, deep voice raps and sometimes a high singing role (he has an amazing high single song) Seungmin> Main vocalist, loves to harmonize with backtracks of himself and totally nitpicky, has his own series on their YT. BELTTTTTTS. I.N./Jeongin> Vocalist, Falsetto king. Youngest/Maknae. Likes to try to give off a sexy vibe when he can on stage and in choreo 3Racha AKA Producer unit: Bang Chan, Changbin, Han DanceRacha AKA choreographers: Lee Know, Hyunjin, Felix VocalRacha (absolute powerhouses): Seungmin and Jeongin
Thank you for giving them a chance! I HIGHLY recommend: Taste, Collision, Cover me, Leave, Lonely St., Red lights, Hold on, volcano, Youtiful, charmer.. etc will def keep watching for more stray kids videos!
some recommendation that u would love cause stray kids made many vocal song and its a must 1 cover me 2 leave live perfomence 3 limbo lee know 4 youtiful (beautiful lyrics its no joke) 5 collision 6 deep end by felix (cause he sing high pitch) 7 slump japenese ver (4 member hit falsetto) 8 social path ft lisa 9 red lights (good vocals and amazing beat) 10 time out (its giving high school musical vibes) 11 love poem (kingdom perfomence seugmin goes crazy with vocals) 12 twilights (in their new album giving blues jazz vibes) 13 phobia by seugmin (vocals are INSANE) 14 gone away (BEAUTIFUL song) 15 lonely st (sad song aint gon lie but good vocals) 16 FNF (good song) 17 neverending story live perfomence (vocals are out of this world) 18 eternity by bangchan (a song abt the love he has for his dog) make me cry 19 drive (this song his so not abt driving they freaky but one of my favorite) 20 surfin (summery vibes) 21 Ex (slow ballade) 22 hold on (i personaly love it) 23 winterfalls (made me tear up ) 24 waiting for us by bangchan 25 here always by seugmin (for a kdrama) hope u enjoy this the best vocals songs to me
You NEED to listen Red lights, Back door, S-Class, My pace, Side effects, Gods Menu (they created their own music genre with this), Thunderous and Charmer!!!!
Thanks for reacting to SKZ again and I appreciate your sincerity ❤ not everyone does that.. And I highly recommend you these songs and I'm 100% sure youre gonna love them 🤭 Charmer, Red lights, Leave, Lonely st., Cover me, Taste, Limbo, Volcano, Slump, Scars, The view, 24 to 25 ❤ You're welcome ✨
I'm gonna recommend you their unit songs bc they feel really different from each other. The three of them are part of the album NOEASY and all of them have music videos: 1. Red Lights - sexy concept (Bang Chan and Hyunjin), 2. Gone Away - ballad song (HAN, Seungmin and I.N), 3. Surfin' - summer song (Lee Know, Changbin and Felix).
So glad you’re continuing to discover more Stray Kids. On your album Freeze & Lonely St also have MVs, but I love seeing Charmer performed Live & I think you will like the Vocals of Waiting for Us. Have fun & keep asking questions, STAY are happy to help.
Also listen to cheese. You might not like it but they trolled people who call their music "Noise music" so its kind of funny. 😂 Maybe you'll like it aswell, who knows!
I would suggest Lonely Street and Thunderous. Also since you like their dance, I would suggest that you check out some of Seventeen’s music as well; especially Maestro, Don’t Wanna Cry, and Super. And ODDINARY is a great album with some amazing gems; Venom is actually one of the songs on that album. I’m glad that you like Stray Kids. They are awesome.
For vocal heavy songs I have to second the live preformance of never ending story. Also phobia is my favorite song in their whole discography, and it’s more vocal than their tts for sure!
I.N (jeongin) and seungmin are vocalracha (vocals) Han (jisung) changbin and bangchan are 3racha (writers and rappers) And felix (yongbok), lee know (minho or lino) and hyunjin are danceracha (dancers) hope that helps :)
off Oddinary, i think you would really like lonely st. and waiting for us (which is specifically a vocal unit song), and the rapline song muddy waters.
I was so happy seeing your reaction. I think with Stray Kids there’s a lot of misconception. They do have “noisy” music (which I personally love) but they also have a very diverse discography, and even their noisy music has so many layers to it. I'm really glad you decided to see for yourself and are enjoying it. And also being respectful when you don’t like something. I had fun watching your reactions to these and Chk Chk Boom.
id just like to say it shows who you are as a person to branch out to new music u arent sure youd like jsut for the heck of it. Thats rare nowadays. I love seeing people listen to skz for the first time and ur reactions were entertaining!
I commented this on your other video but commenting it again in case you don't see it! If you want to hear their more vocal and less loud songs i'd recommend reacting to Blueprint, FNF, Levanter, Voices, The View, DLC and Lose My Breath! These all have mvs which is why i recommended them if you wanna react! Their discography is huge and they have many types of music! There's also Mixtape: OH which also has an mv and i'd recommend it too! One without an mv but i STRONGLY recommend is Neverending Story! Loving your videos you're a joy to watch!
I'm so late, but thanks for giving them a listen!! the Oddinary album is what got me into Stray Kids, both Maniac and Venom were some of the hard-hitting ones (my fave is Freeze), but I also love Lonely St. and Waiting For Us which is their slower more vocal tracks
For other great music videos, I would recommend songs like LALALALA, Megaverse, Thunderous and God's Menu. Other songs that I recommend are definetely Cover Me with some really heavenly vocals, Secret Secret just because I love it, and SLASH, which is featured in the new Deadpool and Wolverine movie.
Case 143 getting the love it deserves!!! Also I find it so funny that you reacted the Venom and Case 143 back to back bc they happen to be the two SKZ music videos that reference The Shining (moreso in Case 143 at the beginning with the Here’s Johnny! shot, but they both use the iconic carpet from the film)
You earned my sub! Thanks for going in with an open mind and i cannot wait for you to hear some of their vocal heavy songs. Waiting for Us is a great one to check out. And for all 8, Cover Me off their last album will bring a tear to your eye. Oh! And for a sweet all- English ballad thats a mental health love note to the Stays, watch Youtiful ❤.
Their music is very varied and there is definitely a ton more songs you would like. I recommend blueprint, red lights, backdoor, thunderous (charmer is great but there is no music video).
thank you so much for reacting to stray kids!! it seems like you really like han and changbin's rapping, and most of the time when you point out vocals it's I.N., seungmin, or bang chan :) highly recommend listening to their newest album "ATE"!!
I agree with the others comments here, I think you would love: Red Light, Taste, Connected, Deep End, Limbo, Surfin’, Thunderous, Lose My Breath, Back Door, Social Path, Youtiful 🥰
thank you for the reaction! Since you asked for all the members names I'll list them all from oldest to youngest -Bang Chan(leader, producer) -Lee know -Changbin(one of the rappers you pointed out, producer) -Hyunjin -Han(the other rapper you pointed out, also producer) -Felix -Seungmin -I.N
I started on this journey in the past week, too. You are not alone. I even bought my first CD/album in over 2 years (I've just been downloading what I buy, not actually buying physical copies of things) with ATE - and it arrived today. (I'm not unfamiliar with Kpop, though I'm more familiar with Jpop. I edited a biography of BTS - and did something of a dive on their music - back in 2020. I've run Anime conventions in the US back to 2007, and helped bring Jpop bands to them. ) Stray Kids just.... hits differently. I'm much more interested. Very much more interested the more I listen- and my musical tastes are all over the map.
Everyone is saying this but I'll say it too, if you like vocals you should check out Cover Me (it's a bside and it doesn't have an MV but i promise its worth it). Also, Levanter, although its a bit older its very vocal focused. You might like Collision too, it's one of my favorites
Sweet! I just watched the first reaction and had mentioned Venom! And then this popped up. So glad you already watched. The visuals and everything right?! They are crazy good! BTW - you have a good friend to gift you an album.
I have a few suggestions that I think might suit your musical taste; Neverending story Cover me Leave Deep end (felix) Limbo (lee know) Secret secret Volcano (han) Because (changbin, Felix) l hate to admit (Bangchan) wish you back (han) DLMLU Star lost Haven Blueprint Mixtape:oh Mixtape: time out Mixtape:on track Scars Levanter Lonely st. Charmer Youtiful FNF Long for you (hyunjin) Hey you (hyunjin) Phobia (seungmin) Respirator (han, seungmin) Hug me (lN) All members are top notch in vocals, rap, dance, Lyric writing and composing their positions have been removed by the company, they are all versatile.
I totally recommend Taste, Red Lights, Hall Of Fame and Cover Me. Also all of the members from oldest to youngest is Bangchan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin and I.N.
heyy!! thanks for reacting❤ so, for soft songs *with* a mv: red lights, the view, ex, blueprint, fnf, chill (my personal favorite of these it’s a must) soft songs *whithout* mvs but soooo worth it: taste, cover me, sorry i love you (there is a live singing official video), COLLISION (BEST SKZ SONG EVER) im sure you’ll love it 🫶🏻🫶🏻
I'd recommend collision, time out, mixtape oh, waiting for us, cover me, lonely st, and star lost!!! they all have amazing vocals but also very nice raps, some are ballads and some are very fun and catchy songs but not too overwhelming when it comes to sound~
I really recommend doing a reaction on the full Oddinary album (the one you have) it has lots of variety and I absolutely LOVEEE every single song there, thank you for reacting to skz!💕💕
OMG, I miss red haired Hyunjin He looked so unreal during the Maniac era!! Also, please react to Red Lights, Taste (you should watch the MBC live stage performance) and Cover Me (since it's their B-side, choose the lyrics video) 🥰 love your reaction!!
Okay!! The guy who keeps rapping in your face: Changbin The other guy that raps a lot: Han The guy you pointed out for angelic vocals: Bang Chan Together they maje up 3rRacha, which is the songwriting/producing team behind (almost) all Stray kids songs The other guy with angelic vocals: Seungmin (he's the first one to sing the prechorus in Venom) The maknae, the guy who you said is a new member singing like this in Case 143: I.N Together they make up Vocalracha, so they are the primary singers The guy you already know: Felix The guy who broke through the 4th dimension at the end of Case 143: Lee Know The guy with red hair in Maniac: Hyunjin Together they make up Danceracha, so they are the primary dancers But there are actually no set positions in Stray kids, they all can do everything 😊😊
a case 143 enjoyer oh you're a real one stray kids have a huge and diverse discography, I think you'd really enjoy some of their bsides like red lights, blueprint, mixtape: oh, cover me and leave. as for title tracks, I highly recommend levanter and back door!
Oh this is so fun to watch! I love when people get so captivated by the kids. They have such a wide variety of music, you always find something you'll like. Oddinary is my favorite album... but then Ate came along. Subscribed to watch your journey. Just wait until you find out their personalities... duality is just another word for Stray Kids!
subscribing bc i know your reaction to red lights is gunna be the highlight of whatever day that happens to be lmao! also definitely seconding everyone saying cover me. you will lose your mind. vocal heaven. never ending story? also vocal heaven.
If you want to take a look at some of their older discography (they're actually in their 7th year as a group rn lol) I would recommend Astronaut, Blueprint and Get Cool which I feel like are all songs more up your alley and similar to Case 143!
i see you have a lot of recommendations already, but just wanted to say I’m glad you’re giving them a chance! They have a very diverse discography so there’s something for everyone. They do have solo songs as well as ones that are split into units. Personally, I think the solo songs will hit different/better after you know more about the group and the members, so I’d recommend watching a guide to stray kids as well.
I think you’d love a lot of their b sides, cover me, be me, airplane, another day, ex, star lost, secret secret, can’t stop (vocal racha unit song), my universe, lonely St., leave, scars (Japanese release), time out (released as a single for Stays birthday) lost me, DMLMU, novel, collision, DLC, FNF, grow up, 19, chronosaurus, levanter, astronaut, get cool, awkward silence
random fun fact: i saw you like NMIXX and ITZY, and they’re all under the same label, JYP Ent., with stray kids! the groups are all surprisingly close. stray kids views nmixx as younger sisters, and views itzy as (basically) sisters! it’s really nice seeing their interactions with one another! (there’s some vids too) side note: you’ve gotten a ton of song recs, so i don’t really need to say mine, but i’ll be subscribed to see your skz journey! (collision, cover me, and twilight are my personal fave chill songs tho lol)
If you like more vocal/chill songs i recommend: leave-red lights-taste-twilight-chill-oh-cover me-fnf..... Idk, there are too muchhhhh. Hope this can be helpful. It's the first time i watch your channel, so i don't really know your taste, but since ylu said you like more vocal songs, i thought this could be helpful 🫶
You HAVE TO react to Cover Me, Taste and Red Lights (has a mv)!!! Beautiful vocals in every one of them, and overall songs that I think you might love!❤
Omgg I litterally just watched ur reaction to chk chk boom and a comment said smth about going down that rabbit hole and 10min later this video gets recommended hahaha
Subscribed to follow your Stray Kids journey. There are a lot of great recommendations so I won’t add anymore. I do recommend watching a guide, however. That way you can get to know the guys and their talents individually, it will help with identifying them in further visits. There is a 2024 guide and though it’s lengthy I recommend it over the short versions of the guide. Some reactors break up the long video into multiple parts/per members.
Hello again 😊 So glad you decided to keep listening to Stray Kids. Most of their songs are combination of rap & vocals, though there are some that pure vocal & some that pure rap. All of them can sing & rap, though they each have their own prefered roles. A must hear song from them is God's Menu, my personal favourite is Hellevator, & I really think you'd like Cover Me, Neverending Story & Lonely st. Their latest popular releases beside Chk Chk Boom are S-Class & Lalalala, though those 2 songs tend to confuse people that are new to Stray Kids cause there're so many beat switch.
If you loved the sound of Maniac and Case 143, you'll probably also love Thunderous. If you want videos that showcase their dancing, you can't go wrong with Miroh and Easy. (Look up their dance practice videos, too, they're fantastic.) Cover Me, Levanter and Secret, Secret are a very different sound, but showcase the vocals and depth of songwriting amazingly. And finally, every baby Stay has to experience the God's Menu video for the first time. Yes, it really is an experience.
-You really have to listen to some of their calm warming songs like: "twilight" "youtiful" "cover me" -Or even their solos: "deep end"(felix) "i hate to admit"(bang chan) and "alien" (honestly any Han pop is good)
I'd say work up to God's Menu. Since you dug case 143 and Maniac. Id recommend Backdoor, Circus, or Mirroh, its a Stray Kids Classic that is now immediately in my head bc i typed it out.
So there are a lot of comments of really good songs for you to listen too! I can also reccomend to listen to some live performances. They are really eatinig that up with their beautiful and powerful vocals. Or maybe checking out a Stray Kids Guide that shows you a little bit from each member because they all can sing, rap and dance
Love Stray kids and hope you continue to explore my fav kpop group :) The one with a lot of the vocal parts your liked was BangChan the leader. I would say try checking out some of their more vocal heavy songs like FNF and Cover Me. Another boy group strong in the dance department is SEVENTEEN. They have 13 members and are known for their synchronism so would definitely recomend checking them out. Songs to rec I would say Super, Hot, Don't Wanna Cry, Rock with you.
