Stray Kıds is an 8 member group debut in 2018. They are a self producing group with over 200 songs discography. They produce 99.9% of ther own music, this includes writing, melodies, beats, composing and arrangements. When they do have help they are still hands on with the process. Felix has one of the deepest voice and he was born in Australia. The leader BangChan (or Chris) does everything and he is also from Australia. Stray Kids puts out Korean and Japanese albums but also has some all English lyrics or a great mix of languages with English. Felix is also a model and an Ambassador for Louis Vuiton. Hyunjin is another member who is an Ambassador for Versace. They also have other members that model for other fashion name brands fashion labels like Tommy Hilfigure, Gucci and more. They have preform at 2023 VMA awards, headliners at Lollipoluza in Paris and Chicago. First kpop group to be invited to the Met Gala by Tommy Hilfigure. They are just a bunch of down to earth talented great kids. Leader BangChan and Felix are also good friends with Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, and even met Chris Hemsworth. They have the best music videos and transitions. Because the write and produce their own music they love to experiment with their music combing rap and vocals with genres, melodies switches and beat changes and the make it sound amazing. They produce more music videos per album and more albums per a year. This song is off their latest mini album Ate and us just a b-side. Check out Chk Chk Boom mv, Mountains mv, Venom mv, LaLaLaLa mv, S-Class mv, and God's Menu mv to start off. They also have an R&B song collaboration with Charlie Puth called Lose My Breath mv
This is a good STAY lol ❤ the comments introducing the group as "he is known as the most beautiful idol in the kpop industry, or the funniest and most adorable" etc, are really so little useful for the group, since what they are reacting is to SKZ's music, for those who see SKZ for the first time, something that will really make you respect the group more and distinguish it from other kpop groups, is that SKZ produces and composes their entire discography since pre debut. It's a shame that STAY leaves aside this very important aspect many times.
Oh, this is a rabbit hole you WANT to fall into! Just based on your reaction to the MV. Stray Kids are the kings of transition. Felix is the vampire angel demon with the deep voice. His upper register is actually fire too. Changbin stood out to you too. He opened the song and anytime he starts a song you know it's going to be a banger. We call this a "Bintro" and he sets the tone for the whole song. This song perfectly highlights the subunits of the group, but if you're going to learn that all 8 can sing, all 8 can rap, and all 8 can dance. To start you off: God's Menu (most popular) Hellevator (pre-debut) District 9 (debut) Chk Chk Boom (newest actual release) Thunderous Megaverse Maniac S-Class Topline Easy Venom Domino (dance practice) This is just a little taste. You won't regret this journey. Stray Kids never miss.
We love the Felix Effect! His deep voice is insane and he has such a big duality, his vocal range is incredible and this isn’t the deepest his voice has gone. He can also hit some amazing high notes!
3:47 yes he really sounds like that lol 😂 that’s felix, he’s known to have the deepest voice in the group despite simultaneously being the cutest/prettiest. he’s incredibly talented and has a large vocal range
While you just discovered my favorite boys, I just discovered YOU discovering my favorite boys and couldn't be more thrilled 😁. Loved your reaction! Definitely subscribed! Can't wait for more StrayKids reactions 🤩!
The Felix effect is so real You need to check out Venom, God's menu, Megaverse and Maniac Just go down and rabbit hole😂😂 You're going to love the videos just because they're so detailed
Always love seeing someone’s first reaction to felix’s voice. You said you went to film school, so you will definitely love their other videos, the editing, transitions, concepts etc are all top tier.
Felix and his deep voice effect strike again 😂 it was him who dragged me by my throat into kpop and especially stray kids you will absolutely love their songs
Omg hilarious - welcome to SKZ. Their rap line 3RACHA is fire. Self produced (~99%) and their catalog is insane. It’s crazy this is ur first encounter - worth checking out their wild journey and they deserve a playlist! Hahaha 💯 I can’t believe u caught the Friday the 13th - SKZ leave TONS of easter eggs and everything is intentional and 4th wall level crazy haha - last line “Stray Kids Everywhere All Around the World, You Make Stray Kids Stay” is to their fandom “STAY” - Welcome! God’s Menu made them explode, but Topline, Megaverse, LALALALA, Backdoor, Venom, S-Class, Thunderous, ETC…
Stray Kids are very experimental, they produce themselves. In South Korea, their music is called construction, noisy because their music is not like typical k-pop. If you want rap from these guys, it can be "muddy water" (old school rap, performed by four members), "topline" (fit with Tiger JK- the godfather of rap), "maze of memories" (rap by all participants)"easy", "megaverse", and from their production sub unit 3racha - "heyday", "zone", "3racaha", "we go" -all this is hip hop, they also have the fastest rapper in the k-pop industry in their group, Changbin (the guy who first started rapping) .You can listen to his solo "doodle" or his feat with Milli and F.Hero (they are Thai rappers) "mirror mirror". well, if something is straight experimental from the guys, it's from the older works of "Side effects" (this is the first k-pop work combining K-roar, Hip-hop, Electronica and Psychedelic trance), "The Tortoise and the Hare" the song was written by one of the participants in drunkenness, this song is underestimated, for me, the song is one of the best). If something is dancing "Domino", "S class", "Lalalala", of course they have many other genre songs, well, I think it's worth stopping for now. They also have the sound track to deadpool "slash", which contained fire as well as rap.
In JJAM (as in many of their songs) they used wordplay with similar-sounding words that have different meanings. JAM - as in jam out (dance / play hard) JAEM - Korean word for fun They ran with the wordplay and decided to use JAM , as in the sweet stuff you spread on toast, as their video concept. So that was already fun, but they added a slight horror aspect to the video as well, which I absolutely love.
These guys are the REAL deal, NEVER disappoint. ALL 8 members rap, sing and dance and ALL equally well AND self produced and they are not know as the KINGS of transitions for nothing......Welcome to Stray Kids!!! "Stray Kids everywhere all around the world, you make Stray Kids STAY" is at the end of all of their MVs. It is a shout out to their fandom which is called STAY. Other MV you want to check out are of course God's Menu, Manic, Thunderous, LALALALA and newer one, Chk Chk Boom just to start off your SKZ 5 course meal!
This is a b-side. The main song is awesome too. There's a huge surprise in that video . U should react to it. Name chk chk boom. They are in their twenties and yet they are this talented. They produced by themselves. They have three sub units. Dance line - danceracha producers - 3racha vocalists - vocalracha
In case you want to know more about Stray Kids: Leader Bang Chan was a trainee at JYP for several years. While waiting to debut, he formed a rap group called 3Racha with two other trainees, Changbin and Han. They wrote / produced their own music. JYP gave Bang Chan the highly unusual opportunity to help develop his own idol group (which they did through a reality show, but Bang Chan had WAY more say in picking the members than pretty much any other idol trainee in the industry), and when Stray Kids was formed 3Racha was absorbed into that group. 3Racha still performs on occasion. Several of their songs / videos are posted on RU-vid. They write / produce (and often compose/arrange) the vast majority of the music for Stray Kids. Over the years the other members have also gotten involved in writing and production. ---------------------------------- Stray Kids debuted in 2018. In their early videos, you'll see 9 people performing, but Woojin left in Oct 2019. Stray Kids have been an 8-member group ever since. ---------------------------------- DanceRacha - main dance unit (Hyunjin, Felix (the deep-voiced guy), and Lee Know). But all 8 members dance very well. ---------------------------------- VocalRacha - main vocal unit (Seungmin and I.N). But again, all 8 members are great and they switch around on lead vocals, depending on the song. ---------------------------------- Main rappers - Changbin, Han, Hyunjin and Felix. Unlike many K-pop groups, all 8 members can and have rapped, depending on the song. ---------------------------------- Languages: Bang Chan (the leader) and Felix (deep-voiced guy) are both Korean-Australian. English is their first language. The other 6 members speak English with varying degrees of fluency. All 8 members are fluent in Korean and can also sing / rap in Japanese. They often mix Korean/English and Japanese/English in their songs. ---------------------------------- Not all of their music is super hard all the time. SKZ also write / sing beautiful ballads and have also written a few songs for K-drama, anime and video game soundtracks. They also collab with / produce for other idol groups and solo artists from KOR, JAP, CHIN, THAI and the U.S. ---------------------------------- The fandom is called STAY. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ 3Racha (Stray Kids' writing and production unit): Bang Chan - leader of Stray Kids, leader of 3Racha, main songwriter, main producer, composer, arranger, vocalist, dancer, rapper on some songs Changbin - main songwriter, main producer, composer, main rapper, vocalist, dancer Han - main songwriter, main producer, composer, main rapper, vocalist, dancer ------------------------------------------------------------------------- The other members: Lee Know - main dancer, choreographer for some songs, vocalist, songwriter, rapper on some songs Hyunjin - main dancer, main rapper, songwriter, producer, vocalist (also an artist & some of his paintings have been used as art for their songs) Felix - main dancer, main rapper, songwriter, large vocal range when singing - bass, baritone and high falsetto Seungmin - main vocalist, songwriter, dancer, rapper on some songs I.N - main vocalist, songwriter, dancer, rapper on some songs
The fandom name is Stay so at the end of all of their videos it days "Stray Kids Everywhere All Around The World, You Make Stray Kids Stay" its a call out to the fandom.
I fell down the Stray Kids rabbit hole at the beginning of last year and I haven't turned back. The fandom (Stay) is so welcoming. You won't regret following this group and taking the deep dive. Welcome!
12:00 wow what a way to discover k-pop lol and I love how u guys ended up loving it and started to listen to more k-pop. Love the reaction so far, I hope to see more reactions of Stray Kids so I subbed!
Always fun to see the Felix effect in action. Hope to see you do more Stray Kids reactions. MV starter set is Gods Menu, Back Door, Thunderous, Maniac - but Chk Chk Boom and MOUNTAINS from the latest ATE album are amazing.
One of the great joys of their work is that you can listen to one of their songs-or watch one of their music videos-at least two dozen times, and STILL be discovering little wonderful things. They just operate on another level.
I’ve been waitingggggggg for you to react to stray kids! This song is definitely one of their most wild/experimental songs that they’re known for! Their songs almost always have multiple meanings and they love to use a lot of word play! Entirely self produced, composed and written and they have complete control of their sounds which is why they are literally in a lane of their own! Check out: Chk chk boom Mountains Gods menu Thunderous Lalalala All In (this is a Japanese release) Circus (also Japanese) Easy Maniac
Yes!! I’ve been wanting you to do Stray Kids for a long time. They produce their own music! Can you please react to: -God’s Menu (one of their most popular songs and videos. The deep voice guy named Felix 4:01 has an even deeper voice here) -Megaverse (such a good beat drop) -Easy (one of my favorites) -Chk Chk Boom (Marvel special guests) -S Class (also was performed at the VMA and they won an award) -3Racha by 3Racha(3Racha is the unit name for 3 of the members who are the music producers.2 are the main rappers and 1 is the leader)
Stray Kids formed in 2017 from a reality show also called Stray Kids. 3 members were rapping and writing together and call them themselves 3Racha, they write and produce most of their tracks on all of their albums.
they are under one of the big 3 companies JYP Entertainment. From oldest to youngest they go: - Bang Chan (leader), - Lee know, - Seo Changbin, - Hwang Hyunjin, - Han Jisung, - Lee Felix, - Kim Seungmin, - Yang Jeongin, They have 3 sub units: • 3 racha - producing and raping (Chan, Changbin,Han), • Danceracha - the name tells you (Leeknow, Hyunjin, Felix), • Vocalracha - the name tells you (Seungmin, Jeongin), Even though they have subunits all of them are talented in all aspects. BUT producing is only a 3racha thing. THEY make skz's songs from 0 to the finished song. ◆ fun fact ◆ Leeknow is actually a professional dancer that became a kpop idol. + Hyunjin started from 0 with dancing and was learning from whatever he could find and now hes really good at dancing. + Bangchan trained for 7 years before he debuted in skz. He was also trusted so much that he could pick his own members. WHEN YOU WHAT TO START WITH THEIR MUSIC, GO FROM THE THEIR FIRST EVER MUSIC UNTIL NOW. *BUT* SOME SONGS ARE ONLY RELEASED ON RU-vid AND SOME ONLY ON SPOTIFY SO YOU HAVE TOO LOOK AT BOTH. Their stage performances are amazing too. You shouldn't miss out on KINGDOM LEGENDARY WAR, they have amazing remixes and covers of songs there with amazing stage. A GUIDE TO STRAYKIDS would help you a lot, there are 2 hour long videos that really tell you a lot, they teach you about the group and about the members individually. AND WELCOME BETWEEN STAYS. Stay is the fandom name.
Jjam is about them making music. Theyre hardly ever straight forward in their lyrics lol They debuted in 2018 They are ages 23 - 26 Fandom name is Stay #2 Best Selling Artist in U.S 2023 #3 Globally Best Selling 2023 They are unique for several reasons... First, the leader Bang Chan was allowed by JYP to hand pick all of the members himself. They were not placed together in a traditional way, by the company. Second all of them are all arounders. They can all sing, rap, dance, produce and write. Third, they have written and produced about 99% of their music. Numbers of songs each member has copyrighted according to Korean Music Association (KOMCA) so far... Bang Chan 184 (#3 in KPop) Changbin 156 Han 152 Hyunjin 27 Felix 22 I.N 21 Seungmin 20 Lee Know 17 While they can all do everything they do have 3 different subunits... 3Racha... Bang Chan, Chang Bin and Han which are the main producers and lyricists. They are always credited as 3Racha. 3Racha Achievements - Producers of Consecutive Five Time Billboard 200 #1 album debuts - only group in history - Hot 100 Hitmakers - 3rd, 11th, 12th Most Credited Idols on KOMCA - Produced Albums Sold Over 20 Million Copies - Japan Hot 100 Hitmakers - 100+ Weeks on Hot 100 Lyricists - 100+ Weeks On Hot 100 Composers - 2023 Asia Artist Awards Best Creator - Makers of Time Magazines 2020 #8 Best Song (their song Backdoor) Danceracha... Lee Know (in charge of leading dance practices), Felix and Hyunjin. They also contribute to the choreography. Vocalracha... Seungmin and I.N While the songs are hype they always have significant meaning to them. Their lyricism is always insane. Since they are so experimental their sound has its own genre and they have a very diverse discography. Example... Gods Menu, Back Door and Case 143 all completely different sounds. Ah yes the Felix effect. He can go deeper. Check.. Gods Menu or Maniac They have some of the best music videos in the industry. Theyre transition Kings.
3:30😂 The Felix Effect is always the best part of new reactions. Felix sounds like he went through puberty twice when he sings. His natural speaking voice isn't quite as deep, but it doesn't always match his fairy king/elf face.😅
Great reaction! My first time here on your channel, enjoyed it! Stray Kids are definitely worth getting into, especially if you like hype music (although they do slower emotional songs equally as well), quality rap and vocals, incredibly well produced music videos and energetic live performances. These guys are super talented and creative and have a great message too. Looking forward to more reactions.
just discovered this video and your channel. (clicking on stray kids videos is life.) your reaction is great!! and i’m going to go stalk around your playlists now. hope to see more stray kids!! my favorite m/v of theirs is ⚡️Thunderous ⚡️
What's funny is this is pretty high for Felix (deep voice guy). He gets A LOT deeper! But he can sing to! He has incredible range! Stray Kids also have a lot of Japanese songs to!
I can't wait to see the journey you're about to go on. Would love to see you react to God's Menu as an early (with great transitions), Chk Chk Boom as a recent, and 3Racha as a deep cut from their 3 man producing unit (they write and produce their own songs.) Welcome to STAY (the Stray Kids fandom!)
One of my favorite things on the internet is seeing someone react to Stray Kids for the first time. So delightful, makes me feel like I’m finding them again too! Nothing like the first time though. Welcome to the club and looking forward to more - plenty of good suggestions in this thread already!
Thats the Felix effect. (the guy with the deep voice) If you want to see more of his voice i would recommend you to watch gods menu, socio path feat. LiSA, Maniac and Miroh. there are so much more but i think these ones will show his talent the most. Also the video "the duality of felix voice". All of them are great and talented. Felix is the one who brought me to Straykids with his unique voice.
Stray kids are pure 🔥! 8 truly beautiful, talented, fun, and humble people. Hope you do more!!! Chk Chk Boom, lalalala, megaverse, maniac, top line, etc. They have so many good songs!
It never gets old seeing someone react to Felix for the first time :D :D Felix is your dude with the deep voice, and yes his pretty looks and deep voice are a wonderful mindfuck! You said you have a background as a filmmaker, so I think you will love checking out more Stray Kids. They have some of the best music videos in kpop, and are the kings of editing and visual transitions!
Ooooooh an upcoming STAY!!! I love it!!! One thing you should watch, just to get to know the group is watch their "Guide to Stray Kids" videos. They have a couple out. That introduces the group by member, and the different subgroups there are. Then it's on to the music. If you want the real "Felix" effect, then Gods Menu is your go-to video! And then it's all uphill from there! My recommendation is to start from their early albums. You can see how they've grown and what they have brought to the table for the last 6 years. Trust me!!! You will NOT be disappointed! Welcome to the STAY family!!!❤
Very talented group just made history becoming the first to debut 5 consecutive no 1 Albums on the Billboard200 have just played major festivals in Italy and England and wowed them at Chicago Loppopaloza and have a song on the new Deadpool Wolverine movie soundtrack
The Felix effect ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨ in full effect!!! He is an ethereal angel with the voice of a 👹 This is the best rabbit hole to fall down! Got me a few months back and Felix (with the deep voice) pulled me in and I did not look back 😂 I’m a baby “Stay” (fandom name) but I’m full force now You have so much amazing music ahead of you, I would recommend God’s menu (most popular MV on YT), S-Class (won a VMA last year) , Lalalala (up for a VMA RIGHT NOW please go and vote!!), Megaverse, Case 143, and Chk Chk Boom. I could give you more and more but I’ll stop there for now 😂. They have a diverse sound but you always know it’s Stray Kids despite the different genres they tap into and blend together. Their editing and transitions are next level and watch out for the deeper meanings and multiple entendres!! Look forward to seeing more from you!! Ps. I love your King Boo in the background :)
Must've missed that reaction in my notifications, glad I saw it now. I couldn't wait for your reaction to Felix's deep voice, and it did not disappoint, I was laughing so much over your sheer disbelief! 🤣🤣🤣 You're not alone though, I listen to Korean music for over 15 years, and when I heard his voice for the first time it was shocking, in the best way lol i've never heard a Korean that has a singing voice anywhere near as deep as his. Suffice to say, loved the reaction! 💙
Thank you for reacting to Stray Kids! They are each incredible individually, but put them all together and it is just magic. Their editors are ridiculous, top notch. Stray Kids themselves and their editing team are transition KINGS. You'll love their videos, especially; God's Menu, S-Class, Back Door, Chk Chk Boom, Thunderous... Their discography is so diverse. Most people know them, at least at first, for their hype songs (no one does it better) but they all have incredible vocals and their rap line is just...🤯
stray kids will take you down a rabbit hole. They experiment with all sorts of genres, beats, vocal tones, rap structures, dance musicality and choreo in general. They even made their own genre called mala taste. Changbin was the 1st rapper you liked and if you watch chk chk boom, easy, topline, thunderous and venom to mane a few you can compare how he can easily change his rap tone and style. Felix is the deep voice and if you want to really hear it deep watch victory song, megavers, or gods menu. This was like midrange. Deepend helps display his range but it is a solo. Cover me and neverending story displays all their vocals. Red lights is just hyunjin and bang chan (grouo leader) and it is a different direction then what they usual do a well. Very good group and they aren't for everyone but they have such a huge range and variety of music and styles. Dance practice videos are always a treat! Fyi i see you listen to Lisa. Her and chan are part of the 97 liners (born in 97) and have been friends since they we little. Very supportive of each other.
I'm so used to Felix's voice that I don't realize it until someone new reacts to it and then I'm like oh yeah! He's a sweet little thing with a big deep voice. 🤣
Most of their videos have crazy transitions. The most popular is God’s Menu. So many songs for you to check out. Circus is in Japanese and has good edits. It is older. Bangers?… oh too hard to pick… almost all their B-sides sound like A-sides. That is why so many reactors end up Stays (fandom name) It is hard to find a miss for these guys. The fact they self produce is also another part of the fascination. Compose, write, arrange, etc they do 99% of it. The three main producers in the group have near 200 song writing credits…each. Also, you will see over and over they all sing, they all rap, they all dance. It’s such a fun group to get to know.
If he's this hyped up about Felix's voice he won't survive Maniac and God's Menu etc 😅 But it's not just about his deep voice- when he sings it sounds really angelic. When I first listened to the song Stray Kids, I literally couldn't believe that the first verse was sung by Felix. Although most of the time he sings low, he has a very beautiful voice. I hope he gets opportunities to sing like that more
Welcome to Stray Kids! With your background and appreciation for conceptual performances, please consider checking out the following music videos: Case 143, S-Class, and LaLaLaLa. These are more recent with LOTS to unpack and interpret. Can’t wait to watch your reactions! 💥✨🖤
Got to love the Felix effect.😀 His voice is actually usually deeper than that, but he has the ability for falsettos as well. If you want to try this rabbit hole, I recommend to start from, well, the start. Hellevator(pre-debut) District 9(debut) and you have plenty of songs, in all kinds of genres, to dive into.
