I think what I'm learning is quality over brand. I've bought a few really nice real leather handbags without any branding and they have lasted for ages, still look brand new and are beautiful. I'm so over big brands selling items that are terrible quality. I'm over it. Vintage is the way to go
Definitely. There are local artisans that make high quality bags and shoes. I’ve got leather bags from 2010 and shoes from much earlier, non branded and locally made, that are still in great condition.
I did buy a local branded leather bag. No big logo so I don't even remember the brand lol. I only bought a few years ago but it's still good with regular wear
Please share names of the smaller brandsif you don't mind. I have tried to search for these online before but don't end up buying because there is not much online presence so I get worried if anything will turn up or it might not look like the picture.
I bought two Hermes bags from Luxury Promise and it was the easiest transaction I’ve ever had. I didn’t even have any trouble with US Customs either which is a miracle. I can’t wait to shop in there when we visit London at the end of the year. Love your pink coat.
I would love to see your opinion on high street bags! You know what quality looks like and while those won't be Chanel or Dior, I'd 1,000% trust you if you said "This bag will last a while". I'd like to see Zara and Holland Cooper. I also love the car content! So fun
Those shearling bags are quite cute, and I have to say the bunny shaped one is what I'd go for, just because it's adorable and fun to keep. Loved seeing the 'car stuff' in the vlog, always fun to watch those bits in addition to shopping!

Just today I received in the mail a vintage Chanel box bag in natural calfskin similar the one you showed. I am only buying preloved bags right now. I have also purchased several Ferragamo, and Cole Haan pieces and I am quite pleased with them.
I'm never buying luxury products brand new again. The lack of quality with Chanel for the price is just ridiculous. I'm wearing my Coach bags more than anything else. Would love to see more shopping at Luxury Promise. Take care

Regarding the Chanel jumper with the giant logo…ask yourself this question…..If it was the exact same sweater but didn’t have the CC’s on it, would you still want it? If the answer is no, you’re in it for the wrong reason! I’ve been facing this fact myself lately too! We all say it’s not about the logo’s, it’s the quality right? But if we take this little “test” we’ve got to admit it! Would you still equally love all of your Chanel bags if the CC’s weren’t on it? 🤔 If Walmart made the same bags, using the same quality materials, but instead of CC or LV it had WW on it, or the Louis Vuitton monogram was little W’s instead of LV, would you still buy it? If the answer is NO, it IS about the logo…full stop! With that in mind…why do we do this? What actually qualifies as “luxury”? Case in point…I recently bought a Marc Jacobs bag. It’s absolutely gorgeous! The leather is beautiful and they use heavy jewelry quality chain strap, and it comes with webbing strap too! It’s absolutely fabulous! But it’s only $499 so that’s not luxury? It’s only lux if you paid way too much money for it I guess! I’m starting to respect my money more, and not buying these super expensive bags anymore!

Actually no that's not Chanel, but I LOVE that SKI sweater - you can officially consider yourself an "Influencer", because under your Influencer I'm about to buy yet ANOTHER pink sweater. LOL
Pre loved is so nice, however here in stockholm we have quite a bit of criminals wanting to show off and lots of luxury items are bought and later sold off as second hand, so I don't feel happy about that. Especially since I work with financial crime, I cannot be sure what money something is bought with. So that is the reason why I buy full price. However if the item is really vintage then I see the risk dropping, it is the brand new items that are immediately sold in vintage boutiques that make me sceptical.
I'm one of the viewers who enjoy the car segments and videos, and I hope you do more! Don't get discouraged by the numbers. Because I think content/videos will always find its way to the right audience in the end. :) it wouldn't hurt to get new viewers that way. Which I know you know well because you're in marketing too 😆

Oh my gosh GT3 RS! I used to do motor cars auctions for Bonhams in the states. Do you ever go to Silver Stone or Sotheby's, Goodwood? I miss them but I still am connected to a few people who ran the Bonham's sales. It's always fun spending other peoples money! The phone bidding was the most fun!

I would have been so scared to drive that one-of-a-kind car. I'm the type of girl who rents a car to go on a trip and gets to the big city, pulls into the parking garage and ends up running into a post. Then run onto a curb and both make a mark on a car that is not mine. Then come home and confess to denting it in a couple of places. I paid cash to have the places fixed. Thank goodness it was only three hundred dollars. I could have been a lot more. I'm so glad you can navigate these cars on the streets of London. Driving on my wrong side of the road. You are such a pro. When I come to London, I want to go into Luxury Promise just to look. I found some pictures that I took on designers' row in Harrods when I was there. I fantasize about owning a piece of Chanel. I love the vintage Chanel. It is so well made and of materials that cannot be gotten anywhere else.

Hello lovely! Normally I'm a size 38 (French) but actually this coat/dress does come-up large I think. I sized-down to a size 36 and it's a good fit! Still allows for a jumper to be worn underneath :) Hugs xx
Hey Sophie, i have a bit of an unusual question but maybe you can answer it still. I’ll be England from 22Dezember til the 4th of January 23. I desperately want to go to London for one day to see the christmas lights and christmas decoration in Harrods as well. Since I’m involved with family for the first week i thought I’ll go on the 2nd of January. Do you know if the lights will still be up then or do they throw everything out straight on the 26th December? Thank you!
