Over the weekend I went to the Mariposa Trust Ball at the gorgeous Landmark Hotel in London and I won a midwife of the year outstanding achievement award! Can you believe it!?
Also can you believe the fast turn around of editing and posting this vlog 😅😂 it can be done haha 😂
I've tried to keep this vlog light hearted and only show the fun bits but the Mariposa Trust is a charity supporting those who have suffered baby loss and are grieving. It amazes me that during someone's darkest times they have thought to nominate me for the care I gave them. The strength and bravery these women and families show is unbelievable. As fun as this evening was I would much rather not have a ball, not have an award and these families have a better outcome. I hope lots of money was raised for this charity during the evening so they can continue with the amazing work they do. I would like to dedicate my award to the baby of the woman who nominated me and to her and her family ❤️ These babies are never forgotten by us as midwives ❤️
