I went to a hippo campus concert by myself and ended up meeting some people who cherished their presence rather than the distance from the artist which I ended up enjoying a lot. Going alone is fun but also kinda boring when you're waiting in line by yourself and everybody already has a friend with them.

Went to see Black Country, New Road three days ago and Swans yesterday, both alone. Came about 90 minutes before the doors opened and was first in line for both. Brought a book, some noice cancelling headphones and just sat and read until they opened. Spent 310$ on merch so that should tell you how much I loved the experience. Also got a signed copy of the Soundtracks for the Blind LP by Michael Gira himself!!
