I don't know sometimes he talks all cheerful and has a joke with them but if you watch his body language, expressions and eyes they betray him occasionally lol.. He is always polite but you can tell sometimes he's annoyed or even feeling threatened
It's weird seeing so many young people, many there with their parents, coming out of the shop, standing in front of it with their food and getting their picture taken. When I was a kid, if I asked any relative to drive me a long distance so I can stand in front of a chip shop and have my picture taken while holding my food, they'd have thought I'd gone mad and told me to fuck off.

It is however perhaps the other stuff is cheaper? otherwise why would there be such a huge waiting line, even if it got popular from a meme or something you would figure people still think for themselves and stop coming if the prices turn out to be rediculous.
Live in London, chips are always above £3 here. It's absolutely insane. I've bought fish and chips like twice in 2 years since been here because of it. A cod is always around £10+. I don't know how they get away with it, but they do.

I’ve been working in a chippy for 14 years and i tell ya, on a tea time it gets so stressful. I can’t imagine that stress from the moment they open till closing time. The owners best treat the staff. Seriously. I take my hat off to them for their hard earnings.

I am from Cov and according to Coventry folklore the story behind why we are the only people in the country who call bread cakes batches is because during World War 1 and 2 when food supplies were being delivered to Coventrians the ‘bread cakes’ were delivered in batches of 10-20, hence why we call them batches! I think all Cov kids remember the first time they ordered a batch outside of a CV postcode and got a confused look!😂
It's the ultimate test to know if someone is from Cov. Ask them what you would call two pieces of crusty bun like bread surrounding chips or cheese. If the answer is not a batch then they are not Cov natives.
I cycled all the way from Newcastle in the pouring rain and vicious biting winds to experience this place and it did not disappoint. I felt tired while cycling back and tbh had a bit of diarrhea but apart from that it was well worth it. Would highly recommend.
This came on autoplay for no apparent reason. Yet I watched it. Laughed me head off when you set up a table in the car park. The most Northern meet and greet ever!
People were complaining about the price at The Farmhouse... Danny paid £40 for top restaurant quality gourmet 3 course meal, premium steak cut, fantastic service and banging food.. He literally said "oh my god" like 100 times. Meanwhile he travelled hours to queue for ages and paid near £20 for dog food from this place.. Not 1 "oh my god" I'd rather pay more for something that's worth every penny than pay half the amount for crap that's not worth it, I wouldn't even eat this crap if it was free.
This place is a 2 minute walk from my place of work and the review is spot on. Been there a few times and it’s just a bog standard chippy. Dead funny and random that it went viral. 8/10 was generous 😂

The thing that I like most about this funny fella Danny is his caring, friendly and jolly personality. He doesn't care about gaining weight when he eats fast-food takeaways coz he just enjoys eating all-sorts any day when he gets hungry. He will greet and talk to everybody even though the majority of passers by/people only want a photo/selfie with him. If you like eating tasty chicken as much as I do, then you will enjoy FLORENCE fried food (further up towards Leeds Road a few doors up from the old Orange Tree fruit store before it was converted into a small, convenient little market before MacDonald's). The do some of the best fried and grilled chicken I have ever tasted!! Tastier than KFC in my opinion and I'm sure you'll agree with me and NOT greasy. They also do nice pizzas

I've lived in Binley for the past 10 years, going past it on the bus almost everyday, walking past it on my way to Morrisons and the Gym and not once have I ever been inside the Binley Mega Chippy. So strange to see what I once thought was insignificant turn into this viral place!

The guy was nice about it and agreed, but you could tell he wasn't happy with Danny's request. That was a little pretentious of Danny, which disappointed me a little, to be honest. I was like "Awww Danny, come on. Don't do that to them right now. Stand there and wait for your food like everyone else has to."

Not to be too judgemental either but it's actually frightening how overweight and borderline obese people are in this one video. Used to mainly be an American problem, but its almost everywhere now. I live in Ireland and I swear 20 or 30 years ago there'd be little to no badly overweight/obese people, but now we're on the fast track to becoming of the most obese nations in the world relative to our population... mental.

Haha! I live in London but was raised in Binley. It’s so weird to see the local Chippy get this kind of attention. It was built about 15 years ago. It used to be a Murco petrol station. I got my first paper round at the paper shop next door and used to get a bus from the bus stop outside to my first job in neighbouring Rugby (where the sport was invented). The Mega Chippy is absolutely banging. Always a 10/10. The thing is that there’s always a queue into the car park, so it’s always done well. I dare say they were struggling with the excess demand so the quality suffered a bit.
Stumbled across Danny a few months ago. Just hooked. Would say no idea why but it’s just the humility and character of the man himself. Seems to be doing better and better. Thoroughly deserved.
