I grew up just outside of Blackpool in Cleveleys & we used to go into Blackpool specifically to Yorkshire Fisheries as a treat a couple of times a year. This vlog was hugely nostalgic for me ❤️ I did laugh at the seagull mafia surrounding you like that 😂 also very funny when on the train you changed seats to enjoy the view & went straight into a tunnel lol. Even seeing the tide out was so cool… the tide doesn’t go out where I live now in Western Australia. Thank you so much for this vlog. It was such a lovely trip down memory lane ❤️☺️
Those seagulls in a row cracked me up! The colours are beautiful - sky, sea etc. Is it a new camera, or is it just such lovely light there? Forget about the food review. I just love the filming and the chat for this video. Superb!
You've given a very good impression of Blackpool. They have done alot to make it more attactive. Yes, it's best to eat your fish and chips in the restaurant. Those seagulls harass you non stop. But £4 for a scoop of icec cream was a right rip off. Thanls for your videos.
Other, cheaper ice-cream places are available, you've just got to know where to go. Prime locations like the piers will charge more. Prices are more competitive on the prom. Howabout an ice-cream crawl some day I'd recommend a place called Scoop near the tower also there's Notarianni's, Pablo's and many small kiosks to compare.
Vielen Dank für Ihr neues Video .Ich mag Ihre Entdeckungsreisen.Der Fisch sah sehr gut aus.Leuchten die Erbsen im Dunkeln? Wünsche Ihnen ein schönes Wochenende 😊
I really do appreciate the effort you put into changing these food review vlogs around. Your original 50 pound series, then the comparisons and now this. Seriously underrated. Keep it up mate 👍 👏
I only found your channel about 3 weeks ago and have been binge watching loads of your videos. I absolutely love what you do. Would you do a Q&A? I am sure I am not the only one that would love to know a bit more about you. We don't even know your name.
Hello my friend, I'm sorry you didn't get to eat your fish & chips on/near the beach! Disappointing there were no benches to sit to enjoy them & had seagulls to contend with If only you had seen the pier 1st & there were seats too! However, the fish & chips did look very good! At least you had a lovely day with the weather, looking good in your sunglasses! Thank you for sharing this great, well filmed video, take care 💜 XX
Definitely worth it to take a reviving walk along the beach, and the Pier, and eat some great Fish & Chips. I didn't realise you had London prices in the North though with 4 quid a scoop of ice cream! 😮 You certainly had great weather! 😎
Blackpool was a magnet for holiday makers in the 1950's and 1960's the beach at this time of the year was full of people but know with the advent of cheap holidays to Spain in the 1970's caused a decline in Blackpool's tourist trade.
It was agood video fish and chips by the seaside you can't beat it but the seagulls are a bit of a pain , how about Bridlington or Scarborough or even witby glad you enjoyed your trip out , we did 😊
£4 for an ice cream what a rip off you can get a good tub of ice cream in a supermarket or freezer pity it was not a later train. what would the drive time be and fuel cost over the train price amazing the fish and chips were still hot after the walk and moving
Another great video for the books! We really enjoyed this one, the seagulls in a row were brilliant! They'd have taken you down if you'd stayed there any longer, I'm sure! 💀 There are some good little raves in Blackpool, the town as a whole could do with some TLC but it's got lots of charming qualities and some nice people 🙂
best fish and chips I've had is at Bizzie Lizzies in Skipton. closely followed by the well known place in Whitby. tbh, Banny's in Colne is rather excellent too.
Yeah, the stretch along the pier looked better to sit and have the fish & chips with ample room and benches. At 4 pound for a scoop of ice cream is steep, though treating yourself to it as you wanted on a trip across to there makes you relish the memory more of the moment enjoying at the spot there. Life's for living and for the moment. Enjoyed the video for this trip.
I went there same week last year - when you realise there aren't any public loos and go into Wetherspoon's, you realise where everyone is hiding out! And I only found about the beach hygiene quality after I got back... :/
Yet again, another enjoyable vlog ! Those pesky seagulls are too lazy. They should be out at sea finding their own fish lol! Can I make a suggestion? What about taking a flight to Belfast for some Irish Stew? Darcy's in Bradbury Place is noted for having the best!
Great video. Yes the seagulls are ruthless! Always eat in nowadays at the UK seaside because they will pinch your food. It is a shame you missed The Rock Factory. Around the corner from Central Pier they make rock right in front of you. Best I've ever tasted anywhere. If you return to Blackpool please check them out.
I went to that chippy last time I was in Blackpool after seeing many food bloggers recommending it. I ate in the restaurant so didn't have to battle with the seagulls 😂
tower fisheries on the same street is cheaper and better i live in blackpool and have used both chippies take my word for it tower fisheries is the best
Well I got it completely wrong when you showed a picture of a pier and asked where it was. I said Cromer ! Couldn’t be more wrong, although I do recommend going there as it’s a lovely place abd you can try the famous Cromer Crab. Fish and Chips looked lovely, peas looked a bit nuclear 😀 The seagulls really are a pest if you’re eating outside at the seaside and can literally just swoop down and take your food, and up close they are pretty big !! Glad you managed to eat them unscathed !
I was expecting a seagull to grab the fish right out of your hand. I live in Minehead and the main reason for not eating fish and chips on our seafront, is due to the fine sand blowing around.
Some would say welcome to the British railway the most expensive in all of Europe and get nothing for it .? Does anyone know why uk trains are so expensive.
The vegas of the north! Trade your chips at the casino for ones swimming in vinegar! Although you can still get robbed by a sex worker with substance misuse issues! That's what I've been told anyway
You do realise they act this way exactly because of this reason!! They are wild birds and by humans feeding them they become reliant on 'hand outs' and can become aggressive and attack people for there food. Most seaside towns are trying to toughen down on feeding them and rightly so in my opinion.
Your food must have been stone cold by the time you ate it. Yuk. I cannot ever eat fish and chips after they've gone cold as they taste totally different. Best eaten piping hot. You should have ate in the chip shop and got the real taste of them. Poor seagulls are starving now since the fish stocks became depleted due to over-fishing and destruction of our fishing industry by the EU.
A Blackpool vlogger has done a survey of ice-cream prices on the prom this week. £3.00 for 1 scoop is the most usual price and cheaper can be found; £2.00 at the kiosk by The Albert & The Lion, £2.00 a kids scoop at Scoop and £2.50 at CJs Cafe in Happy Dayz, Natalie's Desserts and Scoopies by Tower Gifts.
Never a good idea to eat fish and chips outdoors at a seaside location. The seagulls have learned to snatch food from the unsuspecting and sometimes can be quite aggressive.
I eat weatherspoons fish & chips at the Velvet Coaster near the south pier and it was fine.Agree risky eating with all the annoying seagulls.Whether they would have found you on the north pier i do not know? Food looked nice as was weather, just a pity about the seagulls.£4 for one ice cream scoop is too much agree.£10.80 for your lunch was perfectly ok 😊
