Hey, thanks for reaching out. Hope I'm not too late. Last year you could get those three college credit hours by doing boys state plus another 8 weeks of classes. So personally for me I would not do boys state specifically for the college credits because its extra work stacked on top of that week. Boys state is like a mock society where you can choose different schools to go to. I made a business but I had a lot of friends become lawyers, journalists, senators, etc. Boys state was sold to me as a free almost lord of the flies type society, but it's super organized and there isn't as much freedom as you would expect. Although it was a very important week of my life but I did not enjoy it if I'm going to be honest. A lot of my friends loved it though. I Don't know what kind of person you are but I think I would generally recommend it to anyone interested because even if you don't have a good time (like me) I still think I walked out of lindenwood a better person than I was.
