I was born and bred in Anfield justt off Breck Road, on Oakfield Road and spent my life growing up until I moved away when I was 30. It's such a terrible shame because when I was young, going to school in the old school just behind Holy Trinity church, it was such a fabulous, community spirited, respectable place to live. By the time we moved away, however, the sad decline was all too evident and is hard to see. Such a brilliant place to live and grow up in the 70s and 80s and I consider myself lucky to have lived and grown up there - the way it used to be, not the deprived, sad place it is now. I still class myself as a "Breck Road girl" and always will do. ❤

My Auntie and Uncle used to live in Sunlight Street, l used to get the Breck Road bus to their house. It used to be a lovely place, great people.

Nar wellin lad, I've drove up n down there all me life, unfortunately there's loads of smackheads and firms of kiddas in amongst like 1% of all of Anfield, and you've got just normal people going about there lives like everyone else, and there's loads of hearts of gold, but that same 1% causes 99% of the drama and lads on bikes at bells if ye walking down, its a brass area with loads of east European brass houses

NiCe Victorian red brick high street in need of some care. Extend the pavements, plant trees all alongside, provide for a cycleway and parking sections, empower local citizens to open up businesses, learning centres, gyms, restaurants, cafes, etc. ...the area looks pretty good. Thank you very much

It's all Breck Road Yer Nugget , until you hit the junction with Heyworth Street as you were Walking in a Southerly direction !
